Abstract

Extramarital romantic and sexual behavior refers to intimate or emotional interactions involving a married individual and someone other than their spouse. Among employees in long-distance relationships (LDRs) with their partners, such behavior may occur in the workplace due to unmet emotional needs. Frequent interactions with colleagues of the opposite sex, emotional closeness, and eventual physical attraction can contribute to this phenomenon. It often arises from unfulfilled emotional needs and can lead to marital conflicts, relationship deterioration, and decreased work performance. A total of 153 employees who had previously engaged in or were currently engaging in extradyadic behavior participated in the study by completing a questionnaire measuring emotional needs. The collected data were analyzed using correlation statistical techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how financial management in households is based on an Islamic perspective in the West Sidomulyo sub-district. This type of research is qualitative research using interview methods and direct observation of mothers in the West Sidomulyo environment. The results of this study are that mothers in the West Sidomulyo sub-district have managed their finances well, as evidenced by the fact that their expenses are not greater than their income or in the sense that their expenses are not greater than their income. Mothers in the West Sidomulyo sub-district have also recorded their finances, although very simply, although some of them also do not record their finances, only looking at the priority scale: paying Zakat and infaq, Education and daily needs. However, in the concept of managing family finances from an Islamic perspective, they do not fully understand it. It's just that they already believe that Allah SWT's sustenance is given as long as we try and work without giving up and also apply Islamic values. Seeking sustenance in a way that Allah SWT approves. The concept of openness between husband and wife is also part of the Islamic perspective.

Abstract

The use of drones in water rescue operations offers an innovative solution to enhance efficiency and safety in emergency situations. Challenges such as limited accessibility, unpredictable weather conditions, and high risks for rescue teams can be addressed with drone technology equipped with advanced sensors, including thermal and infrared cameras. This study aims to examine the optimization of drone utilization in water rescue operations. A literature review method was employed by analyzing relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that drones can accelerate victim searches, improve detection accuracy, and assist in the distribution of rescue equipment. However, several challenges remain, including battery life limitations, extreme weather conditions, and regulatory constraints that require further adjustments. With continued technological advancements and supportive policies, drones have the potential to become essential tools in enhancing the effectiveness of water rescue operations.

Abstract

This study examines Petronas' strategic response to the global energy transition, focusing on its adoption of renewable energy, integration of sustainability practices, and the influence of leadership. This study employs qualitative document analysis to assess how Petronas integrates its strategies with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, as well as the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while also considering the wide-ranging interests of its stakeholders. The findings highlight Petronas’ investments in green hydrogen, sustainable materials, and digital technologies, emphasizing both decarbonization efforts and long-term value creation for key stakeholders, including governments, investors, employees, and local communities. Moreover, the study underscores the pivotal role of transformational leadership in shaping Petronas' sustainability strategy and its impact on stakeholder relationships. The insights provided have broader implications for other National Oil Companies (NOCs), demonstrating that enhancing sustainability profiles not only strengthens stakeholder relations but also supports long-term profitability through sustainable development.

Abstract

Background, Reporting of inpatient service indicators plays an important role in evaluating hospital performance. This study analyzes the use of daily inpatient census data in compiling reports of inpatient service indicators for the first quarter of 2023 at Syekh Yusuf Hospital, Gowa Regency. The data used includes the daily inpatient census for the period January–March 2023 using the total sampling method. The indicators calculated include Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), Average Length of Stay (AvLOS), Turn Over Interval (TOI), Bed Turn Over (BTO), Net Death Rate (NDR), and Gross Death Rate (GDR). The results of the study show that the calculation of indicators only uses data on days of treatment and length of stay of patients as the basis for analysis. Reporting is done manually and computerized in the form of tables, bar graphs, and Barber Johnson graphs. However, data utilization has not been optimal because the results obtained are not entirely accurate. In conclusion, the implementation of processing and processing of daily inpatient census data needs to be improved in order to produce more valid and accurate reports”.

Abstract

Ibn Sina and al-Farabi argue that the process of the formation of this universe radiates everything from God through ten minds (al-‘Aql al-‘Asharah). God thinks about Himself; thought is a power, and the thought of God, the Almighty, is great and awesome, creating the first mind. The first mind also thinks about God and itself, so this power produces the second mind and the first sky. The second mind also thinks about God and itself and produces the third mind and the stars. And so on, the minds think about God and themselves and then produce the next minds and the planets. The third mind produces the fourth mind and Saturn. The fourth mind produces the fifth mind and Jupiter. The fifth mind produces the sixth mind and Mars. The sixth mind produces the seventh mind and the Sun. The seventh mind produces the eighth mind and Venus. The eighth mind produces the ninth mind and Mercury. According to Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina, both adapted the theory of emanation to explain the relationship between God and the creation of the universe. Al-Farabi saw nature as the result of emanation from God, who is the first being, while Ibn Sina emphasized that nature was created from a state of nothingness and not as part of God's substance. Although both agreed that nature is new and created, they faced criticism from Al-Ghazali who considered the theory of emanation could reduce God's position as Creator and potentially lead to pantheism. This criticism shows the tension between philosophical thought and theological teachings in the Islamic tradition.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of college students in increasing health awareness among adolescents, as well as to understand the factors that influence healthy behavior and social awareness. Focusing on students of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, this study used qualitative methods including interviews and observations to collect data. The results showed that college students have great potential as agents of change in society, especially in terms of health education and social support. College students who have good knowledge about health tend to adopt a healthy lifestyle and participate in programs that care for others. In addition, social support from peers and family has been shown to contribute positively to adolescent mental health. This study recommends the development of health programs that involve college students to increase awareness and healthy behavior among adolescents, and emphasize the importance of nutrition education and mental health. Thus, it is hoped that a generation of healthy and caring adolescents can be realized, contributing to the development of a better society.

Abstract

The security aspect is an important element in online transactions, covering personal data protection, secure payment systems, and user protection policies designed to provide comfort and a sense of security when transacting. In addition, service quality, which includes quick response, ease of access, service friendliness, and delivery accuracy, plays a significant role in building Shopee's reputation as the millennial generation's favorite e-commerce platform. The results of quantitative analysis with a multiple linear regression approach show that service quality has a greater influence than security in shaping the platform's reputation. These findings highlight the importance for Shopee to continue to innovate in improving service quality and strengthening the security system in order to maintain customer trust, increase loyalty, and strengthen its position amid the increasingly dynamic e-commerce market competition.

Abstract

Morfologi adalah bidang ilmu bahasa yang mempelajari dasar-dasar bentuk kata, bagaimana ia berubah dan bagaimana perubahan ini berdampak pada arti (makna). Maka dalam analisis morfologi ini ada jenis yang menjadi utama, yaitu proses reduplikasi atau pengulangan bentuk kata. Reduplikasi atau pengulangan kata adalah proses pembentukan kata yang mengalami pengulangan bentuk dasarnya baik itu secara utuh atau penuh, sebagian dan berbagai fonem lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis, mendapatkan dan memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang bentuk-bentuk reduplikasi dalam Cerpen Dilalap dalam Lelap karya Miranda Seftiana. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari reduplikasi Cerpen Dilalap dalam Lelap adalah penelitian atau pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Pendekatan kualitatif ini digunakan agar penelitian ini lebih mendalam pada pengumpulan data dan lebih memahami fenomenanya. Sedangkan dalam mengelompokkan data pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan. penelitian kepustakaan adalah proses pengumpulan jumlah data yang dapat digunakan oleh penulis untuk dimasukkan atau dimasukkan ke dalam tulisannya. Data yang dikumpulkan ini adalah berupa jenis-jenis reduplikasi yaitu reduplikasi penuh atau utuh (Dwilingga), reduplikasi sebagian (Dwipurwa), reduplikasi perubahan bunyi (Dwilingga salin suara), reduplikasi berimbuhan dan reduplikasi pemisah (Dwimakna). Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan dalam Cerpen Dilalap dalam Lelap karya Miranda Seftiana maka ditemukan hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat 31 temuan kata reduplikasi, Diantaranya adalah (1) reduplikasi penuh atau utuh (Dwilingga) ditemukan sebanyak 20 kata reduplikasi, (2) reduplikasi sebagian (Dwipurwa) ditemukan sebanyak 2 temuan, (3) reduplikasi perubahan bunyi (Dwilingga salin suara) ditemukan sebanyak 3 temuan, (4) reduplikasi berimbuhan ditemukan sebanyak 5 temuan dan (5) reduplikasi pemisah (Dwimakna) ditemukan sebanyak 1 temuan. Dari semua lima jenis reduplikasi yang sudah di analisi dapat disimpulkan bahwa reduplikasi penuh atau utuh yang paling banyak dibandingkan dengan reduplikasi sebagian, reduplikasi perubahan bunyi, reduplikasi berimbuhan dan reduplikasi pemisah. Diharapkan penelitian ini akan memberikan gambaran yang lebih baik tentang penggunaan dan efek reduplikasi dalam karya sastra yaitu cerpen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and evaluate how employee performance at Indomaret and Alfamart is affected by job satisfaction, work motivation, and workload. Although their impact on employee performance is still debated, these elements are essential in fostering a productive workplace. This study used a quantitative methodology, and the population consisted of Alfamart and Indomaret employees. One hundred respondents were sampled, and information was collected using Google Form to distribute the questionnaire. The significant values of 0.741 and 0.269, respectively, which are higher than 0.05, indicating that job happiness and work motivation have no significant impact on employee performance. On the other hand, workload was shown to have a significant impact on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.001—smaller than 0.05. These results suggest that although job happiness and motivation may not directly affect performance, efficient task management can improve employee performance. In short, workload has a significant impact on performance, but job satisfaction and motivation are more important in fostering a positive work atmosphere. While optimizing workload management is recommended, businesses should also consider the importance of fostering an environment that encourages employee engagement and happiness. The small sample size and breadth of the study, which looked at only two businesses, are its main weaknesses. To gain a deeper understanding of employee performance, further research is recommended to increase the number of respondents and include other variables.
