Abstract

This research aimed to find strength of corporate culture characteristics, adapt culture, and performance of small and medium industries. This study involved 40 respondents of small and medium industries owner located in Melikan Klaten Jawa Tengah and Krebet Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. This research is conducted using a descriptive analysis and non-parametric correlation. The findings showed that 42,8 percent of small and medium industry owners were categorized in strong and very strong corporate culture, 47,5 percent possess a good adapt culture, and 50 percent of respondent admitted that they have higher performance . The other result showed significants correlation between corporate culture, adapt culture, and performances.

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to Examine the influence between transformational leadership, commitment on readiness to change. Transformational leadership and organizational commitment are the key factors to support readiness to change. Transformational leadership contributes to change employee commitment and push employee participation within readiness to change. Commitment divined by affective commitment, continuity commitment, and normative commitment on readiness to change. This research evaluates the reaction of leader and employee commitment to the change of business strategy in BRI Kanwil Yogyakarta. Methode of this research is Multiple regression. With distributedquestionnaireto 100 employees. The result of this research is thereeffect between transformational leadership on readiness to change, there is effect between affective commitment organizational on readiness to change, there is effect continuity commitment on readiness to change, and there is effect normative commitment on readiness to change.

Abstract

This research focused on the herding behavior based on the types of investors in the Indonesian capital market 2014-2017. This research used the method of Vector Autoregression (VAR). The research consist of investor shares volume by using a sample of companies which listed on the stock index LQ-45 month period September 2014 to August 2017. The results of VAR analysis shows that the impact of herding behavior that is significantly affected by a fellow investor. The results of the IRF show a response to the average shock occurred during the first month, variance decomposition results show the impact of the behavior of fellow investors responded only type of investor. While the results of Granger causality show that there is a causal relationship between the type investors is going in one direction. The results of the four analyzes can explain the existence of herding behavior in the Indonesian capital market, although the effect only on a fellow investor type.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of consumer psychographic characteristics (purchase experience, consumer innovativeness, vanity seeking, and variaty seeking behavior) on attitudes towards makeup tutorial videos, the influence of attitude towards on makeup tutorial videos on brand image and the influence of brand image on purchase interest. Data was collected through a survey on 300 female respondents in Yogyakarta Special Region and Central Java, aged 15-45 years old. Data were analyzed using linear regression analysis. The results showed that purchase experience, vanity seeking behavior, and variety seeking behavior positively effect attitudes towards makeup tutorials video, while consumer innovativenes does not affect attitude towards makeup tutorial video. Attitudes towards makeup tutorials video positively effect brand image and brand image positively effect purchase intention.

Abstract

Recently, the fluctuation of trade among countries in Southeast Asia is very fast, especially with the agreement of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015. It will establish the economic integration in Southeast Asia. This is expected to reduce the gap among the ASEAN countries. Therefore, the trade among countries also raises the fluctuation of foreign exchange rates. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence foreign exchange rates in several Southeast Asian countries. The secondary data used in this research were taken from the International Financial Statistics published by the International Monetary Fund 2012-2014. The data analysis technique used in this research was panel data regression analysis with Fixed Effect Model. The results showed that inflation and interest rates were variables that affect foreign exchange rates in several Southeast Asian countries. It was known that inflation and interest rates had positive effect on foreign exchange rates. It is also known that the depreciation of rupiah against US dollar was the highest compared to the ones of Ringgit Malaysia and Bath Thailand. Furthermore, the study is expected to give suggestion and information for government in those countries in determining monetary policy to overcome the fluctuation of foreign exchange rates.
