Abstract

UD Sumber Tani is a rice production business located in the Gresik region. Along with seeing the increasing demand for rice products and increasing profit generation. UD Sumber Tani seeks to increase production capacity by adding machine facilities, namely kebi (polisher) machines. In this effort, it requires a further effort in analyzing the addition of the kebi machine. Due to the expensive selling value of the machine. The analysis carried out is to analyze from various feasibility aspects including market, technical and financial. In the financial aspect, it includes NPV, IRR, and Payback Period. The results of the analysis obtained include market and technical aspects are said to be feasible by weighing product demand, machine specifications, layout and so on. Meanwhile, in the financial aspect, it was found that the NPV of IDR 1,696,324,627 ≥ 0 was said to be feasible, IRR was 58% ≥ MARR and the return that occurred in the addition of this machine was one year faster than the economic value of the machine. The addition of machines at UD Sumber Tani by conducting a series of analyses is said to be feasible

Abstract

In the Ring Road development project or the Southern Ring Road, located in Torjun District, Sampang Madura Regency, the length of the South Ring Road (JLS) is 6,455 Km, from STA 0+945 to STA 7+400, and the road width is 12m and will be built 5 bridges and flyovers with a maximum height of 10 m. The earthworks that will be discussed are excavation and embankment work, which require a combination of excavators and dump trucks. In this study the calculations use the settlement method in the form of calculations to find out the productivity of using heavy equipment, in the calculation of Excavator Productivity it requires per cycle production data (P), work efficiency and also cycle time as a calculation analysis and for calculating Dump Truck Productivity requires data on the capacity of the dump truck, efficiency factor, hauling distance and also cycle time. Furthermore, to find out how many units of heavy equipment are needed, in the Excavator calculation the data needed is the volume of excavated stockpiles per day and also the length of time for work, and for the calculation of Dump Trucks, the volume of excavation and stockpiles is needed and the calculation of Dump Truck productivity. And then to find out the cost of renting heavy equipment is needed, the data needed for both tools is equipment rental data per hour, length of work and number of units used. Based on the calculations performed, it can be concluded that the productivity calculation for 1 Excavator Unit yields 615,344 m3/day for 7 days, 3 Dump Truck Units yields 566,811 m3/day for 7 days. And for the cost of renting heavy equipment for excavators, the results are Rp. 39,143,371.12, for renting heavy equipment for dump trucks, the results are Rp. 78,638,665

Abstract

There are still many problems in project implementation, such as errors in calculating estimated costs and time needed to complete the project during the planning or management stages that are not appropriate, material problems, labor. , equipment, finances, and unfavorable environment causing delays in project implementation. As a result, cost and time management is needed, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of project management to get the most out of existing resources. All of that to achieve the objectives of the Level III Brawijaya Hospital Surabaya Building Development project, especially progress in gathering cost (financial), time (timetable) and quality (quality) standards to overcome this problem, the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) method can be used as a alternatives in the planning and management of construction projects. This critical chain project management methodology is a method that really avoids multitasking employees because it can cause prolonged work involving activities that are not always the same, which can make employees lose focus on their work. There is also the term buffer. This means the schedule period is added to protect the critical chain for project success. There are two relatively easy approaches to determining buffer size. For the project buffer, the feeding buffer also uses the Cut and Paste Method (C&PM) and the Root Square Error Method (RSEM). Based on the analysis with the application of the critical chain project management method, it was obtained that the feeding buffer was 109 days and the project buffer was 130 days, so that the time obtained to complete the UB Level III Hospital, Suarabaya Building Development project was 164 days. By using the CCPM method, labor cost savings of Rp. 3.099.752.228 00 without Buffer consumption. However, if the buffer is consumed, an additional fee of Rp. 3.099.752.228 00

Abstract

Pavement layers in Indonesia have started to use hot mixes for resurfacing, maintenance, improvement, and construction of new roads. One type of hot mix asphalt that is often used is Asphalt Concrete (Laston) or AC (Asphalt Concrete). One type of asphalt pavement in this specification is asphalt concrete (Laston) or better known as AC (Asphalt Concrete). Laston is more resistant to plastic melting but quite sensitive to cracking. The general type of damage experienced by the Laston mixture is cracking and/or grain detachment. By using the 2010 road pavement general specifications guide, the general problem encountered is how the difference in presentation of the optimum bitumen content is used for coarse and fine graded materials on the AC-BC layer. what I did was to find out the differences in Marshall characteristics using finely graded AC-BC and coarse-graded AC-BC. The optimum bitumen content in the finely graded AC-BC mixture obtained a value of 5.125%, while the coarse-graded AC-BC mixture obtained a value of 4.575%.

Abstract

The occurrence of congestion is due to the buildup of vehicle volume at certain hours so that the accumulation of vehicles causes a halt in the flow of traffic at a highway intersection. The existence of shops and schools around the road section greatly influences the increase in vehicle volume, especially the side obstacle factor which is quite large, such as pedestrians and parking vehicles, especially 4 wheeled vehicles. The method used in this study is the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual Year 1997 (MKJI 1997). Researchers conducted a traffic survey of the number of vehicles passing for 3 days, namely Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, it can be calculated the amount of traffic volume, intersection capacity, and the degree of saturation. From the results of the study, the highest traffic volume at the intersection of Praban Street, Gemblongan Street, Genteng Kali Street, Surabaya City occurred on Tuesday at 17.00-18.00 WIB. Jalan Praban (West) amounted to 1.712 smp/hour, Jalan Gemblongan (North) amounted to 3.216 smp/hour and Jalan Genteng Kali (East) amounted to 1.431 smp/hour. The results of the existing performance at the intersection of Praban Street, Gemblongan Street, Genteng Kali, Surabaya City with intersection type 333 occurred on Tuesday at 17.00-18.00 WIB, having an average saturation level of 0,81

Abstract

With the addition of the building design age does not only rely on the resistance of the building to the load. Many developments requests lead to buildings that are economical, strong, and according to architectural wishes. In this study, we will compare the effect of column spacing on special moment-bearing frame structures on costs. The method used is to compare 3 buildings with the long span of Building A 3m, Building B 4m and Building C 6m. The three buildings will be compared against Displacement, Building Prices and Structural Performance. From the results of the study, the overall price of the building in Building A (Rp 6,333,433,690) occupies the highest price of the other buildings, followed by Building B (Rp 5,333,852,309), and Building C (Rp 4,362,303,657), Base Force in Building A ( 21833 kN, and 21283 kN) have more resistance compared to other buildings followed by Building B (20010 kN and 19296 kN), and Building C (16348 kN and 15314 kN), and Building performance in Building C (IO) has a level security of the entire building followed by Building B (DC), and Building A (DC)

Abstract

UKM Shoes New Era is a company that produces Men's Sneakers and Slip On shoes. In the process of making shoes, raw materials and the length of production time play an important role for the running of the company. New Era Shoes UKM is a company whose production is based on orders which greatly influences the calculation of production costs. Shoe production is aimed at fulfilling orders from customers, not fulfilling inventory in the warehouse. These SMEs also still calculate simple cost records and do not systematically calculate the selling price of shoe products, so they cannot know the selling price of a significant product. Based on the results of calculations carried out in this study, the cost of production of each type of shoe product was divided into two calculation methods. For the full costing method, we get Sneakers shoes of Rp. 52,515, - and Slip-on shoe products of Rp. 52,243.-. While the variable costing method obtained Sneakers shoes of Rp. 52,157 and Slip-on shoes of Rp. 51,907, -. Sneakers are priced at Rp. 75,000, -/Pair and Slip On is priced at Rp. 70.000, -/Pair., the researcher made a simple calculation using excel software

Abstract

The company implements a system to monitor the quality of production results in order to obtain product quality standards that are able to challenge business competition locally and outside the region. The company's standardized product defect target is a maximum of 5% of the total production target in 1 month. When the production defect value reaches a defective quality value above 5%, it will tighten the production target and increase the production volume to obtain the desired amount. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to analyze using the Six Sigma Quality Control Method. From this study, the p control map was obtained, it can be seen that the proportion of defects is within the control limits, only in the proportion of December 2022 production control which is above the normal limit of 0.0578 from 0.0571. The most dominant type of defect is paint spots due to dust with 26% of the defect value because it has the highest percentage value with the control chart calculation which is still at the value of the proportion of defects under the control limit. The cause of the high defect rate is due to human negligence, material selection, method use, and machine maintenance

Abstract

PD. Rumah Potong Hewan Surabaya is a regionally owned company that operates in abattoir services. This company has a Commercial Unit that has existed for the past 10 years. . This variety of raw meat reaches 150 types of meat and beef innards which are never lacking in demand. Demand is always increasing, making the company maintain Cold Storage temperature conditions so as not to cause damage to the meat. The company will plan a routine maintenance schedule and will invest in a Sankool Cold Storage machine with a price of IDR 200,000,000 and an economic life of 10 years. The results of the analysis obtained by planning scheduling using the Preventive Maintenance method, namely the optimal interval for maintenance of cooling fan components is once every 9 days. The value of the reliability level that was successfully achieved was 61.67%. The results of data processing also show a decrease in costs before the proposal of IDR 17,000,000, and after the proposal of IDR 11,943,732 per year, or a decrease in costs of IDR 5,056,268 or 29%.

Abstract

PT. ABC is an industrial company that produces hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide can be used as a bleaching agent in various industries such as paper mills and textile factories. However, PT.ABC still often experiences delays in the process of completing orders so that orders are not on time when the product will be sent to consumers with delays in completing orders that often occur can result in a decrease in consumer confidence in the company, even with these events it can create a great opportunity for competing companies, where consumers will choose to move to competing companies. Where this research raises this problem to seek solutions so that there are no more delays and can meet demand targets. With this problem the problem is formulated how many employees are optimal for completing order requests and also how much workload they receive in doing the work. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of workload and also determine the optimal number of employees. The method used in this study is Work Sampling and Work Load Analysis (WLA). From the results of calculating the standard time for making hydrogen peroxide, the standard time is 7.13 minutes/unit. from the results of the calculation of the average workload received by employees that is equal to 105.6%. To meet the target customer demand, employees are required to work overtime for 1 hour 8 minutes/day and are given additional overtime incentives, but by increasing their output by 25% of the initial output, so the company does not lose out by providing additional incentives to employees
