Abstract

Speech act means an activity which is done by humans through communication tools. Where speech acts are divided into 3 namely locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary. In this article, we only discuss illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts contained in the Indonesian Minister of Health's Presidential Decree on the Covid-19 Vaccine on the Ministry of Health's YouTube channel. An illocutionary speech act means a speech act that is not convoluted or can be said to be a frank speech act. Meanwhile, perlocutionary speech act means a speech act that has an impact on the speech partner. The use of the method in this article is in the form of the observe and note method, where the data obtained is analyzed using the causality method. In the analysis, the results obtained from the illocutionary analysis amounted to 8 from the 4 categories of illocutionary speech acts. The elaboration can include assertive illocutionary speech acts ('telling' obtained 2 data and 'state' obtained 1 data), directive illocutionary speech acts ('ordered' obtained 1 data and 'begged' obtained 1 data), commissive illocutionary speech acts (' promise' obtained 1 data), expressive speech acts ('thanking' obtained 1 data and 'praise' obtained 1 data). Meanwhile, the results obtained from perlocutionary analysis amounted to 7 from category 5 perlocutionary speech acts, the elaboration of which included 'reporting' speech obtained 2 data, 'scare' speech obtained 2 data, 'relief' speech obtained 1 data, 'fun' speech obtained 1 data , and the utterance 'request' obtained 1 data. In this research, it provides a benefit, namely providing additional knowledge and insight for the reader in the field of pragmatic studies in the form of illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts.

Abstract

Abstract this study discusses the pshycological problems experienced by humans when they are facing a problem in their activities. On the basis of these problems, researches conducted research with the aim of describing Id, Ego, Super Ego, and Ego defense mechanism on character Kakek Garin at “Robohnya Surau Kami” and character Aku at “Angin Dari Gunung”. Then this study was analyzed using Sigmon Freud’s psychoanalytic theory to describe Id, Ego, and Super Ego, and Ego defense mechanism on character Kakek Garin at “Robohnya Surau Kami” and character Aku at “Angin Dari Gunung”. The results of this study reveal that the two characters have different Id, Ego, and Super Ego as well as different Ego defense mechanism. Kakek Garin with all the psychological conflicts he experienced finally ended his life by committing suicide, while the character Aku with all his psychological conflicts was able to survive. The results of this study also show that the two characters provide meaning about life lessons about defending yourself when you are experiencing psychological conflicts with yourself.

Abstract

Indonesian films are increasingly in demand by the Indonesian people, one of which is ecranized films. Literary work that is translated can change its elements to suit a new vehicle, so that there will be differences between the literary work such as novels and other media such as films, even though the source is the same. These similarities and differences affect the emergence of ecranization in the form of shrinking, adding and varying changes in the plot, characterizations and setting between the novel and the film. The type of research used is a content study with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The data collection technique used is the use of documents with reading, listening and note-taking techniques. The results of the analysis in this study found 5 similarities and 1 difference between the novel and the film. In addition, there was a contraction in the plot, characterizations, setting of place and time. The additions are in the plot, characterizations, and place settings. While the changes vary in the plot and time setting. The popularity of an ecranization can provide mutually beneficial results from the collaboration between the novel and the film adaptation.

Abstract

Textbooks are mandatory reference materials used in schools. As a reference, textbooks play a role as a medium for shaping students' personalities, which can be done by entering national values in each subject matter contained in the textbook. This study aims to determine the national valuescontained in the Buku Teks Bahasa Indonesia SMP Kelas VII Edisi Revisi 2017. The method used in this research is content analysis research with a qualitative approach. The results of the content analysis in the textbook show national values which include: 1) mutual cooperation, 2) piety to God, 3) humanity, 4) unity, 5) deliberation for consensus, 6) justice, 7) tolerance, and 8) awareness of place to live (love of the motherland). Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that there are complete national valuesin in the Buku Teks Bahasa Indonesia SMP Kelas VII Edisi Revisi 2017.

Abstract

Our communication uses language, but often outside Indonesian language is retarded because of the influence of language, so that the use of language is rarely done in everyday life, especially in this day and age. as the national language is maintained. Indonesian is the language of unity, so as Indonesians who care about and respect their national language, we must protect and share our language, namely Indonesian. If we have used good and correct Indonesian, people around us will be infected directly. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method with the technique of observing and recording the environment.

Abstract

The poem “Di Negeri Amplop”, has a background of social problems conveyed by the author. The formulation of the research problem, namely: (1) how is the meaning and hypogram in the poem “Di Negeri Amplop” by A. Mustofa Bisri; and (2) hhat are the social problems contained in the collection of poetry “Di Negeri Amplop” by A. Mustofa Bisri. The objectives are: (1) to describe the meaning and hypogram in the collection of poems “Di Negeri Amplop” by A. Mustofa Bisri; and (2) to describe the social problem contained in the collection of poems "Di Negeri Amplop" by A. Mustofa Bisri. This research is in the form of a qualitative descriptive. The data in this study are in the form of a poem containing social problem entitled “Di Negeri Amplop”. Collecting data using library method. Data analysis using semiotic method. The results of this study indicate the meaning of bribery, corruption, collusion, and the existence of poor people. This meaning shows the existence of social problems of crime in the form of bribery.

Abstract

Pragmatics is the study of the relationship between linguistic forms and the users of those forms. Forms of speech acts in speech events include locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary. Perlocutionary acts are speech acts that influence the speech of the speaker and affect and influence the person who is the target of the speech. This study aims to explain the forms of perlocutionary speech acts in the dialogues of the film Memorization of Shalat Delisa by Sony Gaukasak. This research is in the form of a qualitative descriptive study using pragmatic analysis techniques. This research originates from the film Memorization of Prayers Delisa by Sony Gaukasak which is accessed through an application Video.com. The method used in this study is the method of observing and using the technique of observing and noting. The data collection in this study was obtained from the perlocutionary utterances of the characters found in the dialogue film Memorization of the Delisa Prayer by Sony Gaukasak. In this study, 5 types of speech acts were found with 13 perlocutionary speech acts data, namely 4 directive speech acts; commissive speech act 1 piece; expressive speech acts 2 pieces; assertive speech acts 2 pieces; and 4 competitive function speech acts. This research has the benefit of increasing understanding for both students and researchers about the various perlocutionary speech acts in films.
