Journal of Practice Learning and Educational Development is an open access, peer-reviewed, scientific journal published by GAES (Global Action and Education for Society). Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi berdasarkan hasil observasi penulis yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri Kecamatan Padang Timur, diduga bahwa masih belum maksimalnya pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di SMK Negeri Kecamatan Padang Timur dari aspek persepsi guru terhadap Proses pelaksanaan supervisi akademik. Kedua dilihat dari aspek persepsi guru terhadap teknik pelaksanaan supervisi akademik. Ketiga dilihat dari aspek persepsi guru terhadap pendekatan supervisi akademik. Keempat dilihat dari aspek persepsi guru terhadap tindak lanjut supervisi akademik. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 67 orang dengan menggunakan teknik Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket dalam bentuk Skala Likert yang sudah di uji coba untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan bahwa persepsi guru tentang: (1) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik 4,00 (2) Teknik Supervisi Akademik 4,01 (3) Pendekatan Supervisi Akademik 4,01 (4) Tindak Lanjut Supervisi Akademik 3,97. Secara keseluruhan mendapatkan skor rata-rata 3,99 dengan kategori baik.
