Abstract

Migration is an issue that has long been occurring in this part of the world, but not a few circles claim that it is an action that threatens domestic conditions. Islam itself has been practicing since prophetic times known as Hijrah. This paper will discuss how the Islamic view of migration often states that it can be a threat to the security and stability of the country in this increasingly modern era. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive method with the findings that America, which is used as a mecca for a superpower, has a different view from migration, which can be a serious threat to the country, while Islam has another view, namely that migration or hijrah is a necessity if the situation not possible to settle in the country of origin.

Abstract

This article intends to provide an explanation of the paradox of piety and violations of marital legal norms shown in Si Doel The Movie, as well as a juridical analysis of these violations. This study uses a cross-disciplinary approach, namely the semiotic approach and juridical-empirical analysis. The data was collected qualitatively with documentation techniques, then the semiotic analysis of the Roland Barthes model was carried out, then the marriage law analysis was carried out. This study reveals that marital life in the movie is filled with signs that can be interpreted as images of piety and obedience which in Indonesian society develop as a myth of household resilience, but these images are not positively correlated with marital life and adherence to marital norms. , such as norms regarding marriage registration, polygamy procedures, rights and obligations of husband and wife, and parental responsibilities towards children. In fact, this film does not provide a good marriage law education for Muslims in Indonesia. However, this article is limited to looking at the implementation and violations of marital norms in the context of individual behavior. Further research is needed on aspects of legal culture in order to get a more complete picture.

The phenomenon of tidal waves in coastal areas is a common thing. The Keramat Sari beach is no exception (people are familiar with Blendung beach) which is located in Blendung Village, Ulujami District, Pemalang Regency. Around the Pantura, almost every year there are high and low tidal floods. This tidal flood even entered the houses of the residents. Rob at Blendung Beach has occurred since April until now (November), and reached the highest rob reaching an adult's foot on June 3, 2020. This tidal flood has greatly impacted the sustainability of Blendung Beach tourism in terms of the economy of the residents who manage and sell on Blendung Beach. COMMENT aims to develop marine tourism and flood disaster management at Blendung Beach. Through this program, it is expected to improve the quality and competitiveness of Blendung Beach tourism to attract tourists so that later the village economy can grow and develop where it can meet sustainable economic growth. Abstract

This article explores one of the Tablighi Jamaat (TJ) teachings self-islah that develops in its dawah practices. Self-Islah emphasizes improving oneself through a proselytization program called khuruj from one community to another, from one mosque to another. All this time, dawah was used as a medium to improve and correct others by Muslim priest (da’i) without being directly involved in the practice of islah. The phenomenon of JT dawah shows a different approach and pattern where da’i play dual roles not only as subject (preachers) but also as an object (listeners) during that khuruj program. Self-islah in this context includes strengthening faith, morals, and gender awareness. The gender aspect is strong external critics of JT religious tradition where it does not involve women in their religious activities and even avoids interacting with them. Thus, TJ members must handle all the needs while staying in the mosque for religious camps, such as washing clothes, cooking, washing dishes, and serving guests from the local and international community. The article will investigate changes in gender relations within the JT family in the post-khuruj program. This article also focuses on the economic challenges faced by Tablighi members when they go out of preaching (khuruj), especially those from the lower-middle class. They struggle to fulfill the needs during dawah and the family's needs who left at home, especially for long periods such as 40 days, three months, and one year.
