Abstract

The role of algorithms in software or programming is so important that you need to understand the basic concepts behind them. In most of our daily life, we often face problems that need to be solved by entering the data sorting process. A lot of programming logic has been created, both in the general case and in the special case. In this study, the authors carried out the sorting process with two methods, namely bubble sort and tim sort. Sorting application is built using C++ program. Algorithms are needed in order to be able to solve a problem more effectively and efficiently in a shorter time using only a few resources. The preparation of this research uses data collection methods that aim to obtain the necessary data so that it can be extracted to be used as information. It is hoped that from this information it can be seen that the comparison of the bubble sort algorithm with the tim sort is getting better in the data sorting process, if the number of inputted data is greater than n.

Abstract

In choosing a place to open a business was very important and must be considered. One of the suitable places to open a business was a kiosk. This study aimed to facilitate the public in determining the location of the sales kiosk. This was motivated by the limitations and speed in accessing information about the location of the kiosk. In this study, there was a process system for comparing execution time analysis using the Bubble Sort and Insertion Sort algorithms based on the criteria that had been provided. There were criteria that could be selected by users, including the location of the sales kiosk, the area and the available kiosk rental price per year. So that this research system could overcome community problems in terms of limitations and the speed of accessing information that was less efficient about the location of the sales kiosk. After the implementation and analysis of execution time on sales kiosk data as many as 10 places in the C++ programming language using Codeblocks, the results obtained were the use of the Insertion Short algorithm, the use of the Insertion Sort algorithm was more effective in sorting the kiosk places according to the criteria provided.

Abstract

Childhood is a period of rapid growth and development, so it is often termed as the golden period as well as the critical period. The golden period can be realized if at this time infants and children obtain suitable nutritional intake for optimal growth of flowers. But during this time Posyandu process is still done manually, so in providing the nutritional status information children must wait long. System that is able to assist in solving the problem is the Decision Support System (SPK) with the method K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) that can produce information on the nutritional status of children that is the status of poor nutrition obtained from the calculation of weight /Age, very short status is obtained from the calculation of height/age, and very skinny status obtained from calculation of weight/height. And hopefully this system can be used in Posyandu to monitor the growth of children so that children with less nutritional status and poor nutrition get better and faster handling. The design of this decision support system uses a Web-based system with PHP programming language and a MySQL database for the web to be easily accessed.

Abstract

The development of technology is now very rapid. One of them is the use of the internet of things in various fields. One of the applications of technology that is developing in the world including in Indonesia is in agriculture. In this field, there is a model of how to grow plants verticulturally that utilizes limited land. In agriculture, the verticulture cropping technique known as vertical cropping requires optimal soil moisture through proper watering. So an automatic monitoring process is needed to measure soil moisture, air humidity to plant temperature. In this study focused on optimizing the automatic monitoring system using the blynk application compared to ordinary monitoring. This research also encourages further exploration of the use of micro controllers and internet of things technology in agriculture.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a disease that is ravaging all over the world, one of which is in our country, namely Indonesia. At this time, officers are still monitoring physical distancing by giving direct warnings to physical distancing violators. Monitoring system that aims to detect physical distancing violations using detection based on biometric identification using faces. The monitoring system uses a Mixio F10 webcam with 1080p resolution which is processed with a Raspberry Pi 4 microcomputer with specifications of 4 GB RAM and an SD Card to store the Raspbian operating system. The distance detection program between faces uses the Python programming language and requires the Open CV library. USB Speaker as an output medium in the form of sound as a warning against physical distancing violators. The tool detects the distance between adjacent faces equipped with a voice indicator if the distance between faces exceeds a predetermined distance with a maximum distance of 3 meters and the level of accuracy of face detection depends on the distance of the face to the camera.

Abstract

Congestion is a common problem that occurs in big cities. It is necessary to make an ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) using computer vision to monitor street density by counting the number of passing vehicles. The basis of vehicle counting is vehicle detection. This study will compare the performance of vehicle detection models in order to make it easier to determine which model is suitable for implementation. The dataset used is the Vehicle Detection Image Set. The models used are InceptionV3, Xception, MobileNet, MobileNet V2, VGG 16, VGG 19, Efficientnet (B7), and Efficientnet V2 (L). The results show that Inception, Xception, Mobilenet, and VGG19 are the models with the highest test accuracy. The VGG 16 model has the shortest training duration while the Efficientnet V2 (L) has the longest training duration.

Abstract

This article presents a sentiment analysis of Twitter users' opinions regarding the use of ChatGPT in education. ChatGPT, an AI chatbot developed by OpenAI, has gained significant attention for its ability to provide detailed responses across various knowledge domains. However, concerns have been raised about its occasional inclusion of inaccurate information. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of Twitter users' opinions towards ChatGPT in education and evaluate its accuracy. The sentiment analysis process involves data crawling, labelling, preprocessing, sentiment analysis, and evaluation. Data is collected from Twitter using the RapidMiner Studio tool and labelled as positive or negative sentiment based on the presence of positive or negative words. Preprocessing techniques are applied to standardize and reduce the volume of words in the data. The sentiment analysis classification is performed using machine learning algorithms, specifically Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The accuracy, precision, and recall of the classification models are evaluated. The sentiment analysis results provide insights into Twitter users' overall sentiment towards ChatGPT in education. This study contributes to understanding Twitter users' opinions and sentiments regarding using ChatGPT in education. The findings can be valuable for educators and policymakers in assessing the potential impact of ChatGPT on academic integrity and the educational landscape.

Abstract

In educational institutions, tracking attendance is crucial for ensuring effective administration and student engagement. This abstract presents the development of a Teacher and Student Attendance System at the Noor Faqih Usman Foundation, leveraging Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology integrated with Raspberry Pi. The proposed system aims to automate the attendance recording process, streamline administrative tasks, and enhance the overall efficiency of attendance management. This can create gaps in the development of data manipulation, data frameworks, and rigid systems. The purpose of this study was to create an RFID-Based Teacher and Student Attendance System integrated with Raspberry Pi. This study was conducted using a quantitative method of study and development study. This RFID-based attendance technology will later replace the role of paper to record the attendance of teachers and students using cards/keychains to make it easier to report attendance; data can be stored in digital form such as Excel, can be accessed via wireless smartphones, interested parties can monitor through the website, and the educational institution will be touched by at least technology. The results showed that the system was able to control the attendance process and succeeded well.
