Background of this research is motivation of farmer chili plant of land prepation, production, and price in chili plant process and the purposes for obtain information, analyze and discuss about motivation of farmer chili plant in Lembah Gumanti Subdistrict Solok Regency.Kinds of the research used qualitative research. The informant used snowball sampling is accumulation sample technique beginning small quantity, then large ther informant in thisresearch is society a chili plant. Technique of collect data used observation, interview and documentation. Technique of data analysis is reduction data, data display and verification. Research findings are 1) The motivasion of farmer chili plant see from land preparation don’t difficult very motivate the farmer in chili plant, the farmer not load although obstaste for land preparation for chili plant. 2) The motivation of farmer chili plant see from productionlevel the advance very motivate farmer in chili plant, until increase farmer income and need fill every day. 3) The motivasion of farmer chili plant see from chili price a high very motivate farmer in chili plant, until increase economy ability farmer chili plant in Galagah.Keyword : motivation, farmer chili plant

The purpose of writing this article is to give an overview of watershed damage that has occurred, which also led to the occurrence of natural disasters. Watershed damage that occurs due to the interaction between human and natural resources show that the interaction is negative in the end will result in damage and natural disasters. This paper is a literature review on the analysis of the facts that occurred on the field of natural resource conditions watersheds, as well as in the analysis of the theories associated with pegelolaan DAS. Based on the problems and phenomena of watershed degradation that has occurred in recent years, it is necessary efforts and strategies for watershed management that are useful for the realization of the sustainability of the watershed for the present and future. Cooperation between the public and the government in watershed management is the key factor required. The government must be able to move the various stakeholders in the management of natural resources, including natural resources watersheds, through policies, strategies, and programs to both short term and long term.Keywords: dynamics, human, watershed resources.

PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN SARANA BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR GEOGRAFI SISWA KELAS XI DI SMA NEGERI 5 PADANG

Any educational institution shall have the means, which include furniture, appliances education, media education, books and other learning resources, consumables and other equipment needed to support the learning process on a regular and ongoing. This study aims to get the data and analyze data on: 1) The effect of motivation on learning outcomes geography X1 grade students at SMAN 5 Padang. 2) The effect of a learning tool for learning outcomes geography X1 grade students at SMAN 5 Padang and 3) Effect of motivation and the means to learn together the learning outcomes geography X1 grade students at SMAN 5 Padang. This research method is descriptive correlational study because it reveals the events and relationships between variables or events are. The population in this research is class student XI.IPS SMA N 5 Padang enrolled academic year 2016/2017 with a sample of the study 84 people. The results of this study show that: 1) There is influence learning motivation towards student learning, where learning motivation variable (27.2%) of the students' learning outcomes 2) There is no effect of learning tools to the learning outcomes of students of SMAN 5 Padang with a large contribution of 10, 3%, and 3) influences of learning motivation and learning tool together significantly influence student learning outcomes, with a large contribution of 27.4%, Keywords: Motivation and Learning Means Of Learning Outcomes

The attitude of the students in learning is one of the factors which influence the learning process, and very influential in the results obtained learners. Each learner has different characteristics. This study aims to determine the readiness of the students will go to school, at the motivation of learners in a lesson in school, as well as the completeness of the equipment brought to school learners. This type of research used in this research is descriptive with quantitative approach. The results obtained on the readiness of going to school learners in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Tarab in the category quite well with the result of 78.73%. Motivation to absorb the lessons of the learners in SMP Negeri 1 Tarab River that are in good enough category that is equal to 72.09%. Completeness of the equipment brought to school learners in SMP Negeri 1 Tarab River that are in good enough category that is equal to 73.08%. Keywords: attitude, readiness, motivation, Fittings

STUDI PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH TANDAN KOSONG KELAPA SAWIT OLEH MASYARAKAT DI JORONG KOTO SAWAH NAGARI UJUNG GADING KECAMATAN LEMBAH MELINTANG

This study aims to know waste utilization of oil palm empty fruit bunches in Jorong Koto Sawah Nagari Ujunggading District Of Lembah Melintang West Pasaman. This type of research is descriptive. The population is head of the family in Jorong Koto Sawah Nagari Ujunggading District of Lembah Melintang totaled 1141 households. Samples were taken by purposive sampling region (designation) with 3 Jorong Koto Sawah 1) Dusun Banjar Kapar, 2) Dusun Muara Simpang, 3) Dusun Tanjung Harapan which has the highest number of people in Jorong Koto Sawah. The sample of respondents was taken with the proportion of 25% of the number of households, so that a population of 100 families. Data collection through questionnaires or instruments. Techniques of analysis using the analysis of the percentage formula. The research found that: (1) Awareness of the utilization of waste palm empty fruit bunches are in less good criteria, with a percentage of 56,8%, (2) Public Participation on the utilization of waste oil palm empty fruit bunches are in less good criteria, with a percentage of 56,9%, and (3) Motivation Communities to the utilization of waste oil palm empty fruit bunches are in the criteria is not good, with a percentage of 53.5%

WILAYAH PELAYANAN PASAR MUARALABUH SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH DIPINDAHKAN LOKASI PASAR DI KECAMATAN SUNGAI PAGU KABUPATEN SOLOK SELATAN

Perubahan pemindahan pasar Muaralabuh pada dasarnya perubahan lokasi pasar dilakukan merupakan sebuah rangkaian dari proses sosial dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data, mengolah, menganalisis dan membahas tentang Wilayah Pelayanan Pasar Muaralabuh Sebelum dan Sesudah Di pindahkan di Kecamatan Sungai Pagu dilihat dari: 1) wilayah pelayanan, 2) tingkat pendapatan, 3)sarana dan prasaranan. Penelitian ini tergolong pada penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang berada di sekitar pasar yang terdiri dari dua jorong, yaitu jorong Kampung Palak dan jorong Rawang, pedagang/penjual, pembeli, tukang kebersihan, tukang ojek,dan benjual jasa. Sampel penelitian diambil secara proporsional random sampling yaitu mengambil sampel secara acak dengan proporsi 20% sehingga jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 159 KK.Sampel responden adalah kepala keluarga yang terdapat di Kecamatan Sungai pagu Kabupaten Solok Selatan yang mempunyai aktivitas langsung dan tidak langsung dengan kegiatan pasar di Kecamatan Sungai Pagu. Hasil penelitian menemukan: 1) Wilayah pelayanan pasar sebelum dan sesudah dipindahkan di Kecamatan Sungai Pagu pada umumnya baik, 2) Tingkat pendapatan masyarakat dilihat dari pendapatan dan pengeluaran selama satu bulan sebelum dipindahkan pasar kurang baik(Rp,600.000-1.000.000 , sedangkan sesudah dipindahkan pasar pada umumnya baik (≥ 2.000.000,00, 3) Sarana dan Prasarana sebelum dan sesudah dipindahkan pasar Muaralabuh di Kecamatan Sungai Pagu dilihat dari kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana pada umumnya lengkap.

PELAKSANAAN PENERIMA KARTU PERLINDUNGAN SOSIAL (KPS) DI KENAGARIAN PUNGGASAN KECAMATAN LINGGO SARI BAGANTI

This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of the card recipient social protection (KPS) in Punggasan village Linggo Sari Baganti District Pesisir Selatan region of: 1) the condition of beneficiary households KPS, 2) Family income recipients KPS and, 3) the availability of water and sanitation family KPS recipients.This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The study population numbered 93 families, whereas for sampling study using total sampling of the number of recipients of total tamplingwith the number 93 KK. Data obtained from the relevant agencies, namely, Pesisir Selatan region Social Service, and the results of the field survey.The results showed as follows; 1) The condition of the home receiver KPS in Punggasan village Linggo Sari Baganti District generally uniform, the roofs of zinc, walls and floors of cement, sources of electric lighting, ventilation generally one for each room, a place to store food in a clean, storing food in a clean and not separated and activities MCK in private bathrooms, 2) Income recipients KPS generally <Rp 500,000 / month, a side job only occasionally, other family members who have an income is the wife, the average expenditure for staples <Rp 500,000 / month and expenses in addition to the basic needs of an average of Rp 100,000 - Rp 200,000 / month and, 3) The provision of clean water KPS recipients generally well, clear water, fresh taste. treatment of water reservoirs clean by draining clean water reservoirs, treatment is done 1 time in 1 week, and the distance of the source of clean water with sewage disposal is generally 25-50 meters.Key Words: implementation, the social protect, KPS

This study aims to describe the development of tourism object in Solok District, espescially in terms of of cleanliness, safety, the arrangement of which less attention, as well as facilities and infrastructure are still lacking, so that yet provide maximum results. Type of this research is qualitative, data sources used are the words and actions that come from people who know the problems of research. The subject of this research is Department of Tourism, Subdistract, Tourism Manager, Public, and the Visitors of this tourism object. The research subject collecting by purposive sampling technique. Data collection technique done by the interviews, observation and picture taking. Data analysis techniques are reduction data, data display and interpretation of data. Data validity testing techniques in use extension of participation, perseverance, observation. Results of the study explained that : 1) The condition of the existing infrastructure and facilities in this tourism object is still not complete. 2) The barriers development of this tourism object is visible from the road condition are not maintained, The security, the orderliness and the cleanliness arestall low. 3) in an effort to develop tourism object, it need an corporation from all related side like department of tourism, Subdistract, the manager and the society to help each other in keep the road is clean, keep it the safe, and fix the facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Development Of Tourism, Danau Kembar, Infrastructure
