Abstract

Problem of flooding and landslides in Indonesia are already an issue ordinary and natural, is due to geological conditions, geomorphological and meteorological Indonesia is very appropriate, ditambahlagi with the increasing number of population so many changes in land use of natural land into land settlements and land courts work. As a result, the problem of floods and landslides remain overshadow our lives. Several methods of flood and landslide risk reduction that can be done is to increase the capacity of infiltration of rainwater into the ground, therefore naturally infiltration process is reduced, then the artificial infiltration also can be done by methods as follows; Methods of spreading water on the surface "Water spreading", include; Methods basin.  "Basin Method), Method trenches "Furrow method", Method of natural channel "Natural channel method", Method immersion "Flooding method" , method of irrigation (irrigation method), method of replenishment of groundwater through pits, charging method of groundwater through wells injekasi, method "induced recharge". With this method, the risk of flooding and landslides will be reduced and even stopped with the help of other technical methods, in addition to the availability of the amount of groundwater can also be maintained.Keywords; Flood, Infiltration and Groundwater

Abstract

This study aims to determine the village typology based on land use in terms of aspects a) type of strategy based on livelihoods, b) typology based on population resettlement and c) typology based on village development in Nagari Aur Begalung Talaok Subdistrict Bayang South Coastal District. This type of research is descriptive evaluative, namely explaining existing conditions and comparing with ideal conditions (evaluative). The population in this study were all villages in Aur Begalung Talaok Subdistrict Bayang, South Coastal District. The results of the study found that 1). The typology of the village based on land use is seen from livelihoods in the kenagarian Aur Begalung Talaok Subdistrict Bayang South Coastal District. classified as farming rice fields and cultivation 2), the typology of the village based on population settlement is classified as cluster 3). The village typology of village development is based on the development of the nagari in kenagarian Aur Begalung Talaok Sub-district Bayang, South Coastal District.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipologi desa berdasarkan penggunaan lahan yang dlihar dari aspek a) tipolegi berdasarkan mata pencaharian, b) tipologi berdasarkan pemuliman penduduk dan c) tipologi berdasarkan perkembangan desa di nagari Aur Begalung Talaok Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif evaluatif, yaitu menjelaskan kondisi-kondisi yang ada dan membandingkan dengan kondisi idealnya (evaluatif). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh nagari di Aur Begalung Talaok Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa 1). Tipologi desa berdasarkanpenggunaan lahan dilihat dari mata pencaharian di kenagarian Aur Begalung Talaok Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.adalah. tergolong desa pertanian padi sawah dan perkembunan 2), Tipologi desa berdasarkan pemukiman Penduduk adalah tergolong mengelompok  (cluster) 3). Abstract

Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency in the hilly part is one of the central oil palm in Indonesian with a high dependence of economic changing, so it has the potential to receive threats and be vulnerable to the decreasing of Worlds price of CPO. Indicator of exsposure, sensitivity, adaptive capacity are grouped by cluster method and weighting with AHP method to get an index of vulnerability which further verified trought field survey. The results of spatial analysis show that difference in the level of vulnerability have a significant relationship to accesibility, the existence of growth centers and goverment centers in the study area. High and very high vulnerability class regions are regions with high levels of exposure, low levels of sensitivity and low levels of adaptive. The region with PIR-Trans (transmigrasi) plantation patterns tends to have higher levels of vulnerability than that of self-reliant (swadaya) plantation patterns. Based on factual conditions and statistical test, applications of hierarchical cluster method is more appropriate to illustrate the vulnerability of the region to the worlds CPO price decline in Tanjung Jabung Barat compared to that of using k-means method.Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat Bagian Hulu merupakan salah satu sentral utama kelapa sawit di Indonesia dengan tingkat ketergantungan ekonomi yang sangat tinggi, sehingga berpotensi menerima ancaman dan rentan terhadap penurunan harga CPO dunia. Indikator keterpaparan, sensitivitas dan kapasitas adaptif dikelompokkan dengan metode kluster dan pembobotan menggunakan metode AHP untuk mendapatkan indeks kerentanan yang selanjutnya diverifikasi melalui survei lapangan. Hasil analisis keruangan menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan tingkat kerentanan memiliki keterkaitan yang cukup nyata terhadap aksessibilitas, keberadaan pusat-pusat pertumbuhan dan pusat pemerintahan di daerah penelitian. Wilayah kelas kerentanan tinggi dan sangat tinggi merupakan wilayah dengan tingkat keterpaparan tinggi, tingkat sensitivitas rendah dan tingkat kapasitas adaptif yang rendah terhadap penurunanan harga CPO dunia. Wilayah dengan pola perkebunan PIR-Trans cenderung memiliki tingkat kerentanan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan wilayah dengan pola perkebunan swadaya. Berdasarkan kondisi faktual dan uji statistik, penerapan metode hierarchical cluster lebih sesuai untuk menggambarkan kerentanan wilayah terhadap penurunan harga CPO dunia di Tanjung Jabung Barat dibandingkan dengan menggunakan metode k-mean cluster

Abstract

Pollution of water will have an impact on the ecological aspects, social, cultural and economical too. Thus the effort necessary improvements and countermeasures against polluted river costly when compared with the benefits derived from the river. One of the environmental problems that arise in the city of Padang was pollution in some rivers. This causes a decrease in the quality of river water, while known to the river is a source of water that is still used by people who live along the river flow. But on the other side of the river is one of the shelters of waste water or waste originating from a variety of activities such as residential population, household industry and market. Padang city, there are several rivers flowing along the residential areas in between Sungai Batang Arau, Batang Kandis, Batang Kuranji and others. Therefore, the quality of the river should be maintained so communities along the river can exploit. Capacity calculation is done on the river Batang Kuranji divided by five (5) sections calculations. These considerations are based on the same type of pollutant sources resulting in decreased water quality Kuranji Batang River, their tributaries were in and out of Sungai Batang Kuranji.Keywords: Quality, Capacity, Pollution

Abstract

Greening is in need, by the choice of plants, forest rejuvenation, establish community forests. It also includes the manufacture of building erosion control, with the aim to preserve land. In its management, watershed should be seen as a unified land resource. So let wise watershed management based on the relationship between human needs and the availability of resources to meet the human needs. Watershed management usually refers to the management of the two anasirnya (component) which is considered the most important, namely land and water resources. As for the other elements, such as climate, vegetation, relief and humans, is needed as factors in the management of. Community participation in watershed management is very helpful for the landslide disaster mitigation community participation can be expected through a few things, one of them did penenam trees / reforestation gontong together, and the other is also expected that the community in order to maintain the environment around the residence with attention to environmental cleanliness. do not throw garbage in the gutter or the yard of the house, those things that could be considered to mitigate landslides.

Abstract

Teluk Lambeuso menjadi tempat bermuaranya Krueng Lambeuso dan Krueng Unga, aliran air  yang masuk menuju teluk mengandung Total Suspensed Solid (TSS). Nilai TSS yang tinggi dapat menurunkan kualitas ekosistem perairan.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui disribusi Total Suspended Solid (TSS) di Teluk Lambeuso dengan pengolahan citra digital menggunakan data temporal Landsat 8 yang menggunakan algoritma Parwati (2014): TSS = 3.3238*exp (34.099*Red Band), data yang digunakan hasil perekaman pada tahun 2015, 2017, 2019. Berdasarkan hasil analisis spasial diketahui bahwa distribusi konsentrasi TSS di Teluk Lambeuso tahun 2015, 2017, 2019 secara keseluruhan mengalami penurunan. Luasan Konsentrasi  0 -10 mg/l terbesar terjadi pada tahun 2019 sebesar 756,79 hektar. Luasan Konsentrasi  10-30 mg/l terbesar terjadi pada tahun 2017 sebesar 2178,81 hektar. Luasan Konsentrasi  30-50 mg/l terbesar terjadi pada tahun 2015 sebesar 105,99 hektar. Luasan Konsentrasi   ≥ 50 mg/l terbesar terjadi pada tahun 2015 sebesar 56,33 hektar.

Abstract

Abstract. Pa'rappunganta Village, Takalar Regency is a village with a dense population and needs to develop sustainable rural areas in the context of developing an agropolitan area. To optimize the potential of the agricultural sector in the application of the agropolitan concept, it is necessary to identify the village typology and superior commodities in Pa'rappunganta Village, Takalar Regency. This study aims to identify village typology and superior commodities in Pa'rappunganta Village. The research place in Pa'rappunganta Village, North Polongbangkeng District, Takalar Regency. The research was conducted from March 2019 to June 2019. Data collection was carried out by observation, surveys and literature study. The research analysis used is the analysis of village typology, LQ analysis, and Shift Share analysis. The results showed that the Typology of Pa'rappunganta Village was Self-Sufficient. Pa'rappunganta village has complete indicators in production (village output), culture, education and skills, as well as self-help and cooperation. Superior commodities of Pa'rappunganta village are corn and chili. Both commodities have value as a base sector and progressive growth.

Abstract

Background  of this research is motivation of farmer chili plant of land prepation, production, and price in chili plant process and the purposes for obtain information, analyze and discuss about motivation of farmer chili plant in Lembah Gumanti Subdistrict Solok Regency.Kinds of the research used qualitative research. The informant used snowball sampling is accumulation sample technique beginning small quantity, then large ther informant in thisresearch is society a chili plant. Technique of collect data used observation, interview and documentation. Technique of data analysis is reduction data, data display and verification. Research findings are 1) The motivasion of farmer chili plant see from land preparation don’t difficult very motivate the farmer in chili plant, the farmer not load although obstaste for land preparation for chili plant. 2) The motivation of farmer chili plant see from productionlevel the advance very motivate farmer in chili plant, until increase farmer income and need fill every day. 3) The motivasion of farmer chili plant see from chili price a high very motivate farmer in chili plant, until increase economy ability farmer chili plant in Galagah.Keyword : motivation, farmer chili plant

Abstract

The eruption of Merapi Volcano in 2010 was one of the biggest eruptions in the Merapi Volcano history. It caused several impacts such as building and environment damage, financial loss, and many casualties. The objective of this research is as a disaster mitigation by obtaining casualties distribution based on 2010 Disaster-prone Area map (Kawasan Rawan Bencana), knowing how the casualties distribution based on age and gender and getting the factors which caused many casualties. The research was done by quetionnaires, observation, field survey and interview with the casualties and stakeholders, then the data was analyzed using ArcMap software. The result of the research showed that distribution of the most casualties was in the around of Gendol River stream which was part of KRB III area about 260 persons. Meanwhile, 82 casualties were also spread in the KRB II area, 72 persons in the KRB I and non KRB area. The casualties in KRB III were caused by pyroclastic flow, and the others caused by tephra falls, accidents, disease, psychological condition and culture. Based on gender, men are many more than women and based on age, old men and women casualties are more than the younger casualties.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus appeared at the end of 2019 which was first discovered in Wuhan, China. This virus is widespread in 2020 throughout the world, including Indonesia. South Kalimantan Province cannot be separated from the spread of this virus due to high population mobility, so PSBB is needed with the aim of inhibiting the spread of the virus. Analysis of the potential for implementing PSBB in South Kalimantan Province is needed to determine the level of success that has been implemented. The research objective was to analyze public perceptions regarding the implementation of PSBB in South Kalimantan Province. The research method used quantitative descriptive which was carried out through the online questionnaire Survey123, conducted on July 21, 2020 to August 10, 2020. Based on the research results, the majority of the people of South Kalimantan Province agreed with the existence of the PSBB, but the level of community compliance with government recommendations was still low. The solutions that can be provided include forming an epidemiological team, testing or evaluating the implementation of the PSBB on social and economic aspects, and the need for socialization to the public regarding the importance of government recommendations regarding policies to stop the spread of Covid-19.
