Abstract

Greening is in need, by the choice of plants, forest rejuvenation, establish community forests. It also includes the manufacture of building erosion control, with the aim to preserve land. In its management, watershed should be seen as a unified land resource. So let wise watershed management based on the relationship between human needs and the availability of resources to meet the human needs. Watershed management usually refers to the management of the two anasirnya (component) which is considered the most important, namely land and water resources. As for the other elements, such as climate, vegetation, relief and humans, is needed as factors in the management of. Community participation in watershed management is very helpful for the landslide disaster mitigation community participation can be expected through a few things, one of them did penenam trees / reforestation gontong together, and the other is also expected that the community in order to maintain the environment around the residence with attention to environmental cleanliness. do not throw garbage in the gutter or the yard of the house, those things that could be considered to mitigate landslides.

Abstract

The eruption of Merapi Volcano in 2010 was one of the biggest eruptions in the Merapi Volcano history. It caused several impacts such as building and environment damage, financial loss, and many casualties. The objective of this research is as a disaster mitigation by obtaining casualties distribution based on 2010 Disaster-prone Area map (Kawasan Rawan Bencana), knowing how the casualties distribution based on age and gender and getting the factors which caused many casualties. The research was done by quetionnaires, observation, field survey and interview with the casualties and stakeholders, then the data was analyzed using ArcMap software. The result of the research showed that distribution of the most casualties was in the around of Gendol River stream which was part of KRB III area about 260 persons. Meanwhile, 82 casualties were also spread in the KRB II area, 72 persons in the KRB I and non KRB area. The casualties in KRB III were caused by pyroclastic flow, and the others caused by tephra falls, accidents, disease, psychological condition and culture. Based on gender, men are many more than women and based on age, old men and women casualties are more than the younger casualties.

Abstract

Terapan algoritma penginderaan jauh dalam investigasi ekosistem merupakan kombinasi analisis spasial yang mampu mengidetifikasikan venomen spasial ekosistem, dengan tujuan mengindetifikasikan zona ekosistem, dinamika ekosistem daratan berupa hutan tropsi dan jenis ekosistem lainnya, dengan studi kasusus Kota DAS Tarusan Kota Padang. Model analisis yang diterapkan berdasarkan algoritma klasifikasi citra maximum likelihood, indeks vegetasi (Enchnace Vegetation Index) dan LAI (Leaf area index). Hasil peneliian ini terjadinya penurunan luas area ekosistem hutan pada zona transisi yang merupakan perbatasan ekosistem hutan dan kawasan budidaya yang dikelola oleh manusia. Hasil analisis klasifikasi citra diperoleh perbedaat distribusi ekosistem alami hutan tropis dikawasan DAS dan berkembangnya ekosistem yang sudah dicampuri manusia berupa perkebunan campuran. Analisis lanjut dari indeks vegetasi EVI dan LAI memproporsikan kenampakan zona hidup dari kondisi vegetasi hidup secara implisit dengan kenampakan pada citra tunggal gray scalemampu mendiskriminasikan objek non ekosistem alami berupa fitur buatan manusia dan lahan terbuka.Kata kunci: Investigasi ekologi, Leaf Area Indek

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki risiko bencana yang tinggi. Salah satu cara untuk mengantisipasi risiko tersebut, Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan mengembangkan program pendidikan lingkungan hidup pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah melalui Program Sekolah Adiwiyata. SMK Negeri 2 Semarang merupakan salah satu sekolah yang mendapat penghargaan Sekolah Adiwiyata Mandiri. Sekolah yang mendapatkan penghargaan Adiwiyata Mandiri merupakan sekolah yang dianggap telah berhasil membentuk hidup berbudaya lingkungan pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sikap ramah lingkungan pada tempat tinggal siswa  yang mendapat penghargaan Sekolah Adiwiyata. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini  melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa yang bersekolah di sekolah Adiwiyata memiliki sikap ramah lingkungan pada lingkungan tempat tinggal yang baik.  Kata Kunci: Sekolah Adiwiyata, Perilaku Ramah Lingkungan.

Abstract

Indonesia has a natural beauty that is attractive to serve as a tourist attraction. Number of visits to both domestic and foreign travel increased by 7% per year. Padang city has four beach a tourist attraction that is Muaro Anai, Muaro Lasak, Muaro Padang and Bungus Beach. The number of tourists coming to the city of Padang increased 2.6% per year. The number of tourists visit will have an impact on the sustainability attractions. The purpose of this study to determine the level of sustainability and determine the direction of tourism development policies beach. To determine the level of sustainability attractions using multi dimention scaling (MDS). Policy directives determined using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the involvement of experts as many as 25 people. The results of the sustainability analysis shows that attraction Muaro Padang and Muaro Lasak sustainable economic dimensions, but otherwise is not sustainable in social and ecological dimensions. Moreover, `there are two directions of policy development that is sustainable coastal attractions fostering cultural values of the community (21.4%) and building communities to take loving environment (18.7%).
