Abstract

Senjata tradisional khususnya keris mengalami perkembangan dari bentuk dan karakternya seiring dengan kemajuan zaman. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis membuat keris kreasi baru, mengabungkan motif Trenggiling pada keris dengan teknik tinatah didalam karya tersebut. Motif Trenggiling memberikan insipirasi pada penulis, karena memiliki bentuk pada sisik yang menarik dan mewakili  simbol perlindungan diri. Trenggiling adalah satu-satunya hewan mamalia yang memiliki sisik untuk melindungi tubuhnya dari pemangsa atau predator di alam liar. Motif Trenggiling disesuaikan dengan desain dan akan diterapkan pada karya tosan aji berupa Keris.Metode penciptaan yang diterapkan dalam proses penciptaan yaitu tahap eksplorasi, tahap perancangan, dan tahap perwujudan. Eksplorasi meliputi obervasi, studi pustaka dan wawancara. Perancangan meliputi analisis dan sketsa alternatif. Perwujudan meliputi penerapan pada material yang sudah sesuai dengan sketsa yang terpilih, yang menghasilkan tiga keris yakni: dhapur Trenggiling Sisik Waja, dhapur Trenggiling Lingkaring Urip, dhapur Manis Javanica. Penciptaan tugas akhir ini berpijak pada penerapan motif Trenggiling pada keris dengan teknik tinatah. Motif Trenggiling memberikan inspirasi pada penulis, karena memiliki karakter yang menarik, unik, dan mewakili simbol perlindungan diri. Diharapkan menghasilkan keris-keris kreasi baru tanpa meninggalkan tradisi yang dapat membangun makna-makna yang terkandung serta turut melestarikan karya seni. Kata kunci: Keris, motif, Trenggiling Abstract Traditional weapons, especially kris, have developed from their shape and character along with the times. In this final project, the writer makes a new keris, combining the pangolin motif on the kris with the chopping technique in the work. The Pangolin motif gives inspiration to the author, because it has a shape on the scales that is attractive and represents a symbol of self-protection. Pangolins are the only mammals that have scales to protect themselves from predators or predators in the wild. The pangolin motif is adapted to the design and will be applied to tosan aji's work in the form of a kris. The creation methods applied in the creation process are the exploration stage, the design stage, and the embodiment stage. Exploration includes observations, literature study and interviews. The design includes analysis and alternative sketches. The embodiment includes the application of the material that is in accordance with the selected sketch, which produces three kris, namely: Dhapur Trenggiling Sisik Waja, Dhapur Trenggiling Lingkaring Urip, Dhapur Manis Javanica. The creation of this final project rests on the application of the Pangolin motif to the kris using the tinatah technique. The Pangolin motif inspires the writer, because it has an interesting, unique character, and represents a symbol of self-protection. It is hoped that they will produce new kris creations without leaving the tradition that can build the meanings and help preserve works of art. Key words: Kris, motive, pangolin

Abstract

Tabebuya Park naturally works as a Green Open Space of the Jakarta area that are used by Jakartans to exercise and recreation. However, during the pandemic, the problem of the decreasing of its visitors due to the obligation to follow health protocol was inevitable. In addition, visitors who need exercise and recreation are having trouble in finding the right facilities and places. The design of this web ad uses the Design Sprint method by Jake Knapp which consists of six stages that have been detailed by Google Venture, i.e Understand, Define, Diverge, Decide, Prototype, and Validate. This Tabebuya Park web ad is designed with the aim of answering the customer’s needs using the Challenge Map analysis process in the form of How Might We and Four Step Sketch. The result of this design are two alternative Tabebuya Park web ads designed based on the customer’s needs with nature design and Parallax template from Google Web Designer to create suitable, interesting, informative and interactive ads.

Abstract

Star fruit is a fruit that lives in a tropical climate, which has a unique shape that has five circles, like stars. The shape of the star fruit is often associated with several symbolic meanings such as leadership, education, religion, morals and others. One of the excerpts from the song Lir-Ilir mentions that star fruit, which is then interpreted as a symbol of the pillars of Islam. The symbolization of star fruit can be an attraction to be developed as a decoration of a keris pendok made with the krawangan paste technique. The method of creating a kris pendok for this Final Project is through the stages: exploration, design, and embodiment. The aesthetic approach of the pendok decoration pays attention to the decorative aspect that describes the symbolic elements, which are adapted to the shape of the bunton keris pendok. The techniques used in forming the decoration are a combination of carving and krawangan carving techniques, soldering techniques, and electroplating techniques. The creation of the pendok kris krawangan outboard has succeeded in making 5 works, each entitled Limo Lingir, Wejangan Sunan Kalijaga, Menek Blimbing, Pillars of Islam and Panca Wiyata Tinembang Lir-ilir. Each pendok work depicts ornamental elements of star fruit combined with the values of the meaning of the Lir-ilir song. The resulting pendok has an artistic impression through a combination of decorative elements, and contains a moral message so that as Muslims uphold the pillars of Islam.

Abstract

Excessive anxiety can worsen the mental health of citizens and result in a decrease in their productivity in living life. Therefore, this research was conducted to educate the public on how important it is to encourage and support one another to maintain mental health in the face of a pandemic by using Instagram's augmented reality filter. However, the effectiveness of mental health education using Instagram's augmented reality filter is still unknown. The purpose of making this Instagram augmented reality filter is to make it easier to educate the public and reach a wider audience. The design method used for this research is the design thinking method. In this method there are 5 stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The reason for using this method is because the stages are very appropriate in conducting this research. The results show that this filter can be accepted by the community and the majority say that this filter is quite interesting to use.

Abstract

Koi fish (Cyprinus carpio) is a type of ornamental fish that easily adapts to its new environment, this fish is classified as carp (carp). Koi have senses in the form of a pair of eyes (sight), nose (smell), and antennae (taste). And has a swim bladder that helps in swimming such as floating, swooping, or looking up. The creation method used in the process of creating this koi fish spear uses the theory of S.P. Gustami, namely: the first stage of exploration which includes exploration activities to explore sources of ideas through observation, literature study, interviews, and documentation by collecting data in the form of references to writings, pictures, journals, final project reports, photographs of works, photos of objects related to theme. The two design stages include ideas in the form of alternative sketches, selected designs, and working drawings. The three stages of embodiment include the final process starting from the forging, grinding, turning, nyangkling, tinatah, ngamal and warangi processes. Koi fish are a source of inspiration for writers because of the attractive, beautiful, symbolic aspects, meanings and benefits that can be visualized into spear work. Spear is a traditional weapon that is found in all civilizations of the world, during the stone age. Derived from a pointed stone that is given a long stalk, the tool is used for hunting, fishing, and fighting. Over time, spears were used for traditional ceremonies, and were used as heirlooms for generations.

Abstract

The interior design of the Pencak Silat Edutourism Center in Madiun Regency will become a new facility in the tourism sector as a tourist facility and a means to introduce the art of pencak silat as well as to accommodate and develop the art of pencak silat which is a potential art and culture in Madiun Regency. This design will lift the contemporary style with the theme of the jack. In realizing a comfortable and safe design for its users, the interior design of the Pencak Silat Edutourism Center will use several approaches to support the design process, including a functional approach, an ergonomics approach, an aesthetic approach, and a technical approach. The design method that will be used is the Kurtz programming method. This design will have facilities including a lobby area, martial arts gallery, raden prawirodipuro room (silat workshop), kentungan store, gong cafe and restaurant, kenong library, audio visual drum, roro ayu room (multipurpose room), office, service area, and prayer room. . The results of this design can be used as a reference and reference in interior designing, especially those with the same design object as this design.
