Abstract

This study aims to find out how the perception of teachers tutor toprofessional competence of students Field Training Practices. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Data collection techniques are questionnaires. The type of questionnaire used is a closed questionnaire type with a checklist form. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce biology learning materials oriented by Problem Based Learning (PBL) model containing character on circulation system topic for senior high school in terms of student activities. This research is a development research using Plomp development model. This model consists of 3 phases, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, dan assessment phase. Previous research has been done in practicality test at assessment phase. In this study continued on the assessment phase, namely effectiveness test in terms of student activities. The study was conducted in student of second years which one of Senior High School in Indonesia. The research instrument used observation sheet of student activity. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. The results showed that the average value of student activity was 94.05 with very effective category. It can be concluded that biology learning material oriented by PBL model containing character on circulation system topic for senior high school has been effective in terms of student activity

Abstract

Plant duplication through tissue culture is applied primarily to large exploited plants. Plant tissue culture was developed to help multiply the various types of plants, especially for plants that are difficult to be generatively cultivated. The purpose of this research is to know tissue culture technique at Carrot plant (Daucus carota) and to know the influence of BAP media on growth and development of plant carrot eksplan. The method used is experimental method with 4 treatments. The results showed that eksplan can not form the roots, stems, and leaves and callus there is only one repetition that can grow well. The percentage of plant tissue culture success using BAP media is 1%. This happens because of contamination

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the species of freshwater shrimp in one of the rivers in Indonesia.Sampling was conducted in the Manna River Basin consisting of Ketaman River and Langkap River. Determination of shrimp sampling location was done purposively,  followed by road sampling method upstream for 1 hour as far as 10 m. The results obtained from freshwater shrimp from families Palamonidae, genera Macrobrachium consisted of species Macrobrachium lanchesteri and Macrobrachium sintangense. M. lanchesteri most commonly found with the number of thirtynine individuals, while species Macrobrchium sintangense amounted to nineteen individuals.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the application of guided inquiry learning model to the biology learning result of the students of second years of yunior high school in the affective domain. The study was conducted in the odd semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The research is an experimental research using randomized control group postest only design research design. The study used two sample classes: the experimental class with given the application of Inquiry guided learning model and the control class using conventional learning method. The research instrument used is observation sheet of attitude evaluation. Indicators assessed are responsibility and confidence. The result showed that the average affective value of the experimental class is 82,50 (Good predicate) and the control class average is 73,85 (Good predicate). Working hypothesis accepted because tcount = 3.26> ttable = 1.672, and there are differences in student learning outcomes in both classes of samples significantly. Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth of mangrove seedlings grown on soil top soil media. Mangrove seeds obtained from the community around the mangrove forest in Taluak Buo Bungus, Padang. This study used experimental method using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replications. Treatment A as a control using land taken from the mangrove forest area of Taluak Buo Bungus, Padang. Treatment B using 100% topsoil soil, Soil top soil treatment (70%) plus cow manure. Treatment of soil top soil (70%) with the addition of chicken manure. Growth factor to be observed in this research is the growth of stem and number of leaves, then also calculated stem diameter ratio at all treatment. The results showed that the treatment on seed height and number of leaves was significantly different with the control, while for the number of different leaves were not real.
