Early Childhood Education and Development Studies ECEDS merupakan salah satu jurnal pendidikan anak usia dini yang menerbitkan, artikel penelitian, laporan studi lapangan, laporan studi kasus, kajian pustaka baik sekala lokal, nasional maupun internasional. Artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini adalah tulisan asli yang berlum pernah dipublikasian di jurnal manapun. Tujuan Jurnal ECEDS dimaksud adalah sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan informasi yang konstruktif untuk kemajuan pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

The purpose of this class action research is to increase the creativity of group B children at the Pembina State Kindergarten, Dawan District. The research subjects were the children of Group B of Pembina State Kindergarten, Dawan District, which consisted of 15 children. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The data collection technique used is observation in the form of observation sheets, documentation, works. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the discussion that has been described previously, it can be concluded that playing plasticine from clay can increase creativity in students. This can be seen in the increase in frequency and percentage that occurred in the initial condition of 15 children, only 3 people got a score of 2 (20%), in cycle I it increased to 6 people got a score of 2 (40%) and 9 people got a score of 3 (60%) then in cycle II it increased again to 12 students got a score of 3 and a score of 4 (80%).

Abstract

This report was made based on the background of problems that occurred in the B1 group of St. Joseph Kindergarten, namely the low language ability of children in recognizing and arranging letters into a word. To overcome this problem, researchers designed a learning process through letter card playing activities with the aim of improving the language skills of group B1 children in St. Joseph Kindergarten which amounted to 15 children consisting of 5 boys and 10 girls. The design of this research activity refers to the flow of Classroom Action Research which is divided into 2 cycles and 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data in this action research is also collected by observation, assignment and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis collected, it is proven that through playing letter cards can improve the language skills of group B1 children in St. Joseph's Kindergarten. With the results of development achievements as follows: in cycle I children who are in the stage of Very Good Development (BSB) as much as 13% and increase in cycle II to 60%.
