Abstract

Onion rambak (onion crackers) and rice karak (rice crackers) “Acha” is a home industry in Boyolali, specifically in Gumukrejo, Teras District, Boyolali Regency. Hazardous materials such as borax are not used in the ingredients that composed the karak and rambak sold by this home industry. Mrs. Sunarni, the owner, is assisted by her family in running the rambak and karak businesses. This business was started about ten years ago, but the business license had not been obtained. This company's NPWP business license was in the form of village’s group NPWP. The output was substantial, with 75-100 kg of onion rambak and 50 kg of rice karak produced. Businesses dropped in sales as people's purchasing power declined due to decreased income caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Production could be increased by changing the packaging logo to one that was more eye-catching and easier for the public to remember. In addition to serving sales through the Whatsapp application, sales were also made through e-commerce applications such as Shopee. Using online sales through e-commerce applications, the production results and sales revenue for Mrs. Sunarni's rambak and karak businesses increased.

Abstract

Making or compiling a final project report has many issues, one of which students frequently complain about: compiling a bibliography. The workshop aimed to provide students with knowledge about citing and compiling an automatic bibliography, as well as to take advantage of one of the advancements in information technology that students could use to compile a bibliography or reference by using an application. The workshop was held online using the Google Meet platform and the Mendeley application to create a list of references. The workshop activity went smoothly without any major impediments, and the participants were 44 Fifth Semester Diploma Midwifery students. Measurement of the introduction of the Mendeley application prior to the workshop using the evaluation questionnaire revealed that 95.45% of participants did not know the Mendeley application at all, while 4.55% knew about it. The result of the evaluation questionnaire found that 70.45% of participants said that the Mendeley application was easy to use, and 29.55% said that it was difficult to use. 100% of participants would use the Mendeley application to prepare the final assignment report (LTA).

Abstract

El-Hasan Mosque is located in the denizen association Rukun Warga (RW) XII, Resonegaran habitation, Terban Village. Resonegaran is west of Purbonegaran Village, on the east side of Prof. Yohanes Street. Because of the mosque's renovation, The Quran education has temporarily stopped in the Quran education park located within the El-Hasan Mosque. Therefore, during the renovation’s vacuum period for Quran education, community service helped increase children's understanding of Islam and bring children closer to the Quran through recitation assistance, Iqro’ (reading), and memorizing the Juz’amma, short verses. The Qur'an Education Park activity program was implemented over the course of nine meetings with a total of twelve hours. The first six meetings were scheduled for six hours, one hour for each meeting, and the last three meetings for six hours, two hours for each meeting. The last three meetings were for memorization checks for the participants, which took longer times. The program was scheduled to take place every Wednesday and Friday of the week. The Quran Education Park Activity Program lasted for five meetings and eight hours.

Abstract

Kalipucang hamlet is in Bangunjiwo Village and is home to 53 farmers from the “Andini Makmur” livestock farming group. The majority of the population works as cattle breeders, while others are farmers. The livestock farming group "Andhini Makmur" manages 80 cows in this village. The dung has only been dumped in the cage for a few months. Later, animal manure collectors buy it for a low price, if not for free. The lengthy sitting of the dung causes environmental pollution in the community, including air pollution and an unpleasant odor, and it can cause disease. The use of dung waste was a viable option for the prosperous farmer group. The conversion of livestock waste into electrical energy via a biogas process was a positive solution to livestock waste, which had been a major problem for the livestock community. The outcomes of the community service program carried out raised awareness among the “Andini Makmur” livestock group in particular, and the Kalipucang hamlet community in general, that livestock waste could be managed independently and produced electricity useful for lighting cages and moving water pumps at the livestock rearing site.

Abstract

Singkar 1 Hamlet, Wareng Village, Wonosari, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta is a mountainous area that often experiences a shortage of clean water and does not yet have the technology to empower efficient irrigation. During the dry season, residents have to buy water from the Village Drinking Water Manager for daily needs and other needs such as watering plants. Geographical conditions that depend on seasonal changes are an obstacle in the availability of water irrigation facilities, but Dusun Singkar 1 Wareng has the potential to be developed because it has a large area of land and there are wells that have not been utilized for plant cultivation. The irrigation system works by draining water from residents' wells using a solar-powered DC water pump to irrigate land that has not been used optimally by residents. This system is able to increase the independence of residents in cultivating plants because residents can use water without having to buy it from the local village drinking water manager.
