Abstract

In the Islamic boarding school world, the study of turast books across disciplines is a tradition. The way of learning is also different. Starting from the talaqiy method, munawalah, to the polar bahstul method. In fact, when departing from Al-Ghazali's theory of the method of obtaining knowledge there are twofold: the kasbi theory (how to obtain knowledge scientifically and naturally) and the kasyfi theory (how to obtain knowledge by riyadlah and inner ritual). In the Islamic tradition, both are equally practised. However, the kasbi theory is most widely pursued because it is more likely, while the kasyfi theory is relatively impossible, not to say absurd.

Abstract

The Book of Ta'lim al-Muta'allim is a classic book that is studied and studied in almost every Islamic educational institution, especially traditional educational institutions such as salaf boarding schools and modern huts because there are basically some concepts of al-Zarnuji education that are worthy of application. Being one of the books inherent in pesantren or formal education, it is not impossible, many readers of the book do not know about the biography of the author ta'lim al-Muta'allim. So it is necessary to reveal the identity of the author of the famous book of education. This paper, in addition to revealing the biography of al-Zarnuji as the author of the book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim, will also explain at a glance the content of the discussion in the book.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Pesantren An-Nur complex Nurul Huda Bantul Yogyakarta about the phenomenon of ngalap barokah from former kiai drinks. Based on the analysis carried out by the author that the hadiths related to ngalap barokah are quite widely found in Kutub at-Tis’ah, meaning that indirectly the santri an-Nur Nurul Huda has practised the guidance of the teachings of the prophet Muhammad SAW, through the practice of ngalap barokah drinks used Kiai, which is then referred to as living hadith. Emile Durkheim's sacred social theory of the practice of ngalap barokah drink used Kiai, this is at least some point that is considered sacred. firstly, humans, in this case, are the figure of a Kiai, secondly objects such as glasses, plates or trays used to drink Kiai, thirdly water, namely drinking water used by Kiai, and fourth places, namely the place used by the Kiai when sitting all these objects are considered sacred by students as a manifestation of sacred theory in the life of pesantren.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the teachings of the Tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah in the Education System at the Al-Madani Islamic Boarding School, Semarang City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study explain that the education and teaching system in the Al-Madani Islamic Boarding School in Semarang City is a classical, non-classical system, students are obliged to live in Islamic boarding schools, and all students are required to implement the teachings of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyyah Tarekat. However, the tarekat teachings that are applied to the santri are not implemented as strictly as the procedures imposed by the tarekat followers who have officially taken bai'at. But here the students are more of the practitioners of the Qadiriyyah wa Nasyabandiyyah tarekat.

Abstract

The environment is an important part of human life. However, the current reality shows that human awareness of their responsibility as khalifah fil ardh has disappeared. So religious values are needed that can regenerate environmental awareness in the community. Moreover, it can integrate the teachings of monotheism, Sufism, and fiqh so that a holistic-integral environmental concept emerges. In this case, pesantren as one of the Islamic educational institutions has an important role in inculcating environmental-based Islamic values. The cultivation of these values ??is an effort to foster ecological piety both within the scope of the pesantren community and the wider community. This study aims to explore more deeply the urgency of Islamic education in the formation of ecological piety in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a literature review method by using a number of studies by previous researchers as the main data source. The results show that ecological piety or awareness of environmental care can be realized through the implementation of ecologically based Islamic educational values in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the theory of double movement in Islamic education IT Nusantara. The findings show that IT has a great advantage, namely that it can rule the world if used in a positive way. Knowledge can be obtained quickly, all information is universally accepted in an instant when using IT. The advantages of IT in Islamic education in the archipelago will make it easier for teachers and students in the learning process, but it needs supervision from teachers to students so that students are not trapped in the misuse of IT in education. Teachers should close sites that make students lazy to study. IT in the Al-Quran has been explained that Allah. has given instructions to humans to use their minds to develop the sophistication of today's technology.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how Islamic boarding schools were used as a solution to overcoming social media maniacs and games for students at Pondok Pesantren An-Nur Bantul Yogyakarta. This research method used a descriptive approach. The data used include primary and secondary data. The research results showed that Islamic boarding schools were not just places to seek knowledge. But on the other hand, this pesantren also educated its students in matters of ethics, etiquette and manners. With various efforts and approaches, this pesantren had proven to be able to break up children who became addicted to gadgets, especially social media and games. The An-Nur Islamic Boarding School in Bantul Yogyakarta also faced various problems or challenges. The state of the world was increasingly advanced and developing if students did not follow it, makes it lack external knowledge, were less capable in terms of technology, lack confidence, and some even did not want to follow technological developments. Therefore, these pesantren needed direction and guidance from various related parties so that these problems could be resolved.

Abstract

Looking at the progress of time, there have been many changes in both learning and teaching aspects, starting from government policies that constantly change in terms of curricula to the policies regarding the national examination system. This applies to both public and private schools, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), universities, and so on. However, educational institutions will not deviate from what has been set by the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Religious Affairs. These policies continue to serve as guidelines in the implementation of the educational system. Educational institutions in Indonesia are not only limited to formal schools and universities but also encompass pesantren, whose existence contributes to the diversity of the educational system in Indonesia.
