Abstract

This study examines the effect of the use of cashless payment system and the protection of cashless payment users on financial inclusion in MSEs in Kediri. The sample used in this study amounted to 400 respondents. Data were collected using an online questionnaire via Google Form. The data analysis method used in this study is PLS. The analysis test results show that there is a significant effect of using the cashless payment system on financial inclusion in MSEs (Micro and Small Enterprises) Kediri.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of salience and disposition on investors' investment decisions in Surabaya. In addition, this study also seeks to see the effect of salience and disposition effect on investment decisions with the type of investor as a moderating variable. This type of research is quantitative research with associative methods and primary data sources. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data that has been collected is then processed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that the salience and disposition effect had a significant influence on investment decisions. In addition, the types of investors weaken the relationship between the salience and disposition effect on investment decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotion, materialism, risk perception, and financial literacy on the propensity toward indebtedness of the millennial generation in Surabaya. The researcher uses a online questionnaire distributed via Google Form to 110 millennials in Surabaya. The collected data is processed using Partial Least Square (PLS). This study indicates that emotion, materialism, and perceptions have a significant effect on indebtedness propensity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emerging adulthood status and sensation seeking on students’ financial behavior. This type of research is descriptive with primary data sources. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to active undergraduate students at Petra Christian University. The 508 collected data were analyzed using SEM-AMOS 24. The results showed that emerging adulthood status had a significant effect on student’s financial behavior while sensation seeking didn’t have significant effect on students’ financial behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Female Director on the Probability of a Company Experiencing Financial Distress. Springate model is used to predict the probability of a company experiencing financial distress. This study compares the effect of female director on the probability of a company experiencing financial distress without control variables and using control variables. The control variables in this study are board size, firm size and leverage. The population in this study were manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2018. The samples in this study were 27 companies. The results of this study indicate that female directors have no significant effect on the probability of a company experiencing financial distress. By using control variables, it is shown that female directors do not significantly influence the probability of a company experiencing financial distress with the control variables such as board size, firm size, and leverage.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of agency cost, ownership structure, signaling, investment opportunities, size, financial leverage, and profitability on dividend policies on public companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2014 - 2019. This research sample uses the entire list of companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2014 - 2019. The data analysis method used is tobit regression. The results of this research analysis suggest that agency cost, ownership, investment opportunities, size, financial leverage, and profitability have a significant effect on dividend policy on companies listed in IDX period 2014 - 2019.
