Abstract

Currently, the advancement of information systems and technology offers numerous advantages to human existence, encompassing nearly every aspect of life, including strategic planning. Good strategic planning implementation will benefit the organizations that use it as well as commercial entities like small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM). In Padalarang Village, the industry that can employ the greatest number of specialized workers is UMKM. There is no questioning UMKM's existence because it has demonstrated its ability to endure, act as a catalyst for the local economy, and grow it.  One of the communities in the Padalarangs Prefecture is Padalarang Village. West Java's West Bandung district has potential in the UMKM field, and the strategy's village layout supports this idea. The purpose of the research was to develop an information system strategy for Padalarang Village's UMKM, with the goal of motivating UMKM to enhance benefits using information systems. The Ward and Peppard methods were employed, with phases for SWOT, Value Chain, and Five Force analysis. Interviews and questionnaires were sent to pertinent parties throughout the data collecting phase. The study's conclusion is that UMKM needs to be proficient in the use of information technology to become an innovation to develop its business.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of technology in various fields, with a focus on the implementation of digital technology and machine learning. Digitalization has influenced various aspects of life, including education and tourism. Machine learning, particularly convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and deep learning play an important role in these advancements, with applications extending from biology to healthcare. Face recognition technology, as part of biometrics, is highlighted in this article, used in various contexts such as security and enterprise management. This research implements CNN and Haar Cascade Classifier methods to build a face recognition system in the context of library attendance. With the tests conducted, the system achieved 95% accuracy, showing a good ability to detect faces in various conditions. In conclusion, the CNN algorithm can produce an effective face recognition system for use in library attendance systems, with reliable performance and high accuracy.

Abstract

This research implements Augmented Reality (AR) technology in solar system learning using a marker-based 3D object recognition method. The aim of this research is to create an interactive and immersive experience for users to learn about the solar system through an Android smartphone. The research development method follows the waterfall approach, which includes requirements analysis, system and software design, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance. This AR application utilizes marker-based 3D object recognition technology on an Android smartphone. The test results demonstrate the success of the application in displaying 3D objects during the scanning process using marker cards. Distance testing indicates that the optimal range for recognizing solar system objects is 20-30 cm. Meanwhile, light intensity testing reveals that outdoor daylight conditions with an intensity of 90-120 Lux provide optimal results. In conclusion, this research successfully develops an application for recognizing solar system objects using AR technology. The application offers an interactive learning experience for the solar system. The utilization of the waterfall method and the positive test results are the strengths of this research. For future development, the consideration of employing the scrum method can accelerate the application development and testing processes.

Abstract

UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, as a rapidly growing higher education institution, faces significant challenges in ensuring information security. This research aims to improve information security at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung by applying the Information Security Index (KAMI). This method analyzes information security risks to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and possible impacts. The analysis revealed that security measures were already in place, but they also highlighted areas that require further attention. By achieving a final score of 415, signifying category II (Basic Framework Fulfillment), this research significantly contributed to understanding information security in higher education. Through the application of WE, this research not only provides a comprehensive overview of the status of information security at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung but also opens up opportunities to identify and address potential threats more effectively. Thus, the results of this study have important implications for improving information security and protection in higher education institutions and can be a valuable guide for similar institutions in their efforts to mitigate information security risks.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has penetrated into various sectors, including education. Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung realizes the importance of participating in technological advances to improve information and communication services. One of the efforts made is to utilize the website to introduce and manage alumni data. This research is focused on the analysis and design of the Informatics Study Program alumni website, with the hope that it can support facilities at the university and provide benefits, especially for alumni of the Informatics Department. The results showed that the development of the Alumni Association website can be done well as a means of facilities for the Alumni Association in informing its work program. In addition, website development is carried out by making front-end with ReactJS and back-end with NodeJS Express on the website can run completed and implemented quite well.
