Abstract

In the business world, competition is difficult to avoid. With the competition, the company will provide a better quality of the product or provide a cheaper price to attract more consumers. Through a competitive advantage, the company will be able to maintain continuity of production and develop the business to a larger scale. Therefore, this research tries to exam how to improve marketing performance through the optimization of competitive advantage . The predicted factors are: innovation, entrepreneurial orientation. Data about those variables was collected by conducting interviews with questionnaire to 46 respondents of SMEs. The data then were being analyzed using Interverning Regresion Method. The results of this research show thatall variables (innovation, entrepreneurial orientation.), have a positive impact on competitive advantage and marketing performance, while entrepreneurial orientation., has the biggest direct effect on the marketing performance. The result shows that while marketing performance as the dependent variable, ajusted R Square of 86.7%, while the remaining 13.3% explained by other variables not examined in this model. Then the competitive advantage as the dependent variable, ajusted R Square of 72.4%, while the remaining 27.6% explained by other variables not examined in this modelKeywords : competitive advantage, innovation, entrepreneurial orientation, marketingperformance.

Abstract

Implementation and disclosure of corporate social responsibility, or better known as corporate responsibility (CSR) started to emerge from three decades ago. Issue of CSR was due to a shift in paradigm where the company now not only aims to maximize profits but also are required to accommodate the needs of the community (society), its enviroments and stakeholders. In this study discusses the concept of three main dimensions of corporate social responsibility, namely benefit, people, and planet on the image of the company that fosters customer loyalty so dont move on product another (switching cost). Population in this recearh is buyer of KFC Semarangand know of CSR. The number of samples that used 96 responden, and technic sampling in this study were taken by using purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed by using PLS analysis technique (Partial Least Square). The result showed that the implementation CSR(benefit, people and planet) directly and positively related to company image and customer loyalty, company image has positive effect on customer loyalty and switching cost, furtheirmore switching cost to customer loyalty.Keywords : Corporate Social Responsibility, Image, Loyalty, Switching Cost.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of empowering leadership on employee performance, empowering leadership on psychological empowerment, empowerment influence of role identity to strengthen the relationship between empowering leadership and psychological empowerment, psychological empowerment influences on creative engagement process, the influence of psychological empowerment on intristic motivation, leader influence encouragement of creativity in strengthening the relationship between psychological empowerment and creativeengagement process, the influence of the creative process on the performance of employee engagement, motivation intristic influence on employee performance. Population of this study are all employees of Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital. Samples method conducted by proportional sampling technique. Then the analytical techniques used Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the hypothesis of this study can be concluded that: 1) Empowering leadership have positive and significant effect on employees performance, 2) Empowering leadership have positive effect but no significant effect on psychological empowerment, 3) Empowerment role identity significantly strengthen the positive relationship between empowering leadership andpsychological empowerment., 4) Psychological empowerment have positive influence but not significant to creative process engagement, 5) Psychological empowerment have positive and significant effect on instrinsic motivation., 6) Encouragement of creativity leader reinforces a significant positive effect between psychological empowerment and creative engagement process, 7) Creative process engagement have positive effect but not significant to employees performance, 8) Intrinsic motivation have positive and significant effect on employees performance.Keywords : Empowering leadership, empowerment role identity, leader encouragement of creativity, psychological empowerment, creative process engagement, intrinsicmotivation, kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and analyzing the influence of motivation against the employee performance of badan kepegawaian city semarang and to know and analyzing the influence of discipline against the employee performance of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Semarang. A method of research used in the sample of the population is a method of census against 65 respondents derived from the staff of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Semarang overall, to be used as a sample of but only 64 a questionnaire that back and analyzed. A method of collecting data used namely a questionnaire that is supported by observation, informal interview and documentation. The result showed motivation influential positively and significantlyaffect the performance of civil servants. Variable discipline shows that there are a positive influence and significant on the performance of civil servants Motivation have leverage our dominant against the employee performance than by discipline. Variable motivation and discipline can explain variation variable the employee performance 56,6 %, amounting to while 43,4 % described by another variable outside modeled on standard trust 95 % ( sig. 5 % ).Keywords: Motivation, Discipline, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study focused on examining the influence of organizational structure, systems remunerasi, on work motivation in order to improve the performance of employees at the tax office in Semarang Region. Respondents in this study were employees of the Directorate General of Taxation in Semarang with the number of sampling 120 people. The results of data analysis showed that all the hypotheses proposed in this study is acceptable. This means that there are positive and significant influence of organizational structure variables, remunerasi system, to work motivation and employee performance in order to increase the tax directorate general region of Semarang. Thus through the efforts of organizational structure, systems that supportthe organization remunerasi be better in accordance with the changes being made, so as to motivate the work in order to improve the performance of employees so as to provide maximum service to the public, especially taxpayers. Processing of data obtained on the influence of the organizational structure of work motivation is 0.32; the influence of the system remunerasi of work motivation is 0.42; influence the organizational structure of the performance of employees is 0.21; remunerasi system influence on the performance of employees is 0.23; and the influence of motivation on employee performance is 0.25.Keywords : organization structure, remuneration system, work motivation, and employee performance

Abstract

The research was conducted on Kesbangpol dan Linmas Kota Salatiga with the aim to determine the effect of Quality of Work Life and Employee Engagement on Employee Performance. The research data obtained through questionnaires to 63 respondents who are employees of Kesbangpol dan Linmas Kota Salatiga using census. The results of the data obtained is processed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with PLS Smart Program. The results show that quality of working life contributing positively and significantly to Employee Engagement and Employee Performance, also Employee Engagement contribute positively and significantly to Employee Performance.Keyword: Quality of Work Life, Employee Engagement , Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of knowledge sharing lead to improved organizational performance based on the entrepreneurial attitude that includes learning orientation and risk taking. Purposive sampling technique is the number of samples in this study of 135 respondents. Analysis techniques using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS Soptware. The study results showed that entrepreneurial attitude that includes learning orientation and risk taking to organizational performance through knowledge sharing variables have a higher effect when compared with immediate effect. It shows that the role of knowledge sharing has led to increased organizational performance based on the entrepreneurial attitude that includes learning orientation and risk taking.

Abstract

This article explains how important the role of customer emotions on consumer behavior andits influencing variables. During this time, the role of emotion is not so much revealed, but thedecision-making without the role of emotions is not possible. There are many variables thataffect and are affected by customer emotions, but in this article only described about serviceenvironment and employees behavior as an antecendence variables and complaints behavior,customer satisfaction and customer loyalty as a consequence variables. Employee behavior isinfluenced by the environment service itself, the mood of the team work and the emotions of the employee.
