Abstract

China's history shows that China's acceptance of international norms comes not only from the national interest but also influenced by the political system and social values that have shaped its relationship with Southeast Asia over 2000 years. Today Southeast Asia is still based on the question of how to adapt to new developments in Asia that are uncertain about how to defend themselves against and manage their country to face global markets and national power that have imperial potential. There has been a considerable amount of history written these two centuries to remind the local leaders to cooperate with each other. It is time to consolidate Southeast Asian regional groupings that can protect the long-term interests of the region.

By using Antonio Gramsci’s perspective, this research is on qualitative approach with literature study method. The argument built in this research is that society and culture will always change with the influences that exist in the world today. These changes can be happen in a fast or slow time. On a large or small scale in everyday life, so that people are unconsciously in a circle of domination and hegemony. However, this research is not a comparative study between different time periods, but a study of the identification of influences that play an important role in transforming and shaping cultural aspects and the people way of life in the majority of developing countries. The practice of “Money Politics” as concrete manifesatation of moral decadence of the political elites in campaign periode led to the biggest case that is corruption. Abstract

This qualitative research aims to analyze the cause of the spatial movements perpetrated by the Moro Muslim community in Southern Philippines. This departs from the writer's assumption that the separatist movement is not merely a desire for secession but of other factors driving the movement of the separatist movement. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that there are three things that cause Muslim societies Moro do separatist movement. First, there is bad experience in the context of history. Initially, the Muslim community was the majority in the Philippines, but after the arrival of the Spanish to colonize the Philippines there were apostasy actions that were carried out in various ways so that in the end the Filipino Muslims became a minority. In addition, during the colonial period the United States had imposed all discriminative policies against Muslims. Second, the existence of a series of crimes against humanity experienced by post-independence Philippine Muslims, including jabidah, upi, barrio, and buldon event that shows violence against Muslims. Third, there is a failure of efforts by the government to resolve the conflict in the Southern Philippines. This is marked by the failure of the government to grant autonomy rights to Muslim areas because it continues to participate in development in the region but does not provide for the welfare of the Muslim community. In fact, the data indicate social inequality between areas that show that Moro Muslims are in the poorest position.
