Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the effectiveness of using the SCAMPER strategy to learn the research problem is to demonstrate the importance of the impact of the proposed intervention. The research problem addressed that the repeated failure of learners when performing the basic skills of the futsal game prompted the study of this issue and develop appropriate solutions through the development of exercises on the SCAMPER scrambler that will improve the basic skills of futsal. The research sample included students of the Department of Sport and Exercise Science, who numbered (30) students and were divided into two experimental and control groups, each group (15 students). (15) female students, and the researcher applied the research experiment using the methodology described above, and through the results, the researcher found that Scamper has a key role in developing creative abilities, developing independence to reach goals, and investing time and effort. The researcher recommended the need to emphasis the use of SCAMPER as a tool for learning how to play the game in the gym.

Abstract

The article reflects on the results of research on the experience of foreign countries on the development of kinetic intelligence among students. Methods and approaches used in different countries to encourage physical activity, sports and creativity among students of higher educational institutions are analyzed. Also, the practice of applying the best practices used in foreign educational institutions in the educational system of our country was studied.

Abstract

In this article, the process of development of attacking techniques of 13-14-year-old volleyball players is studied. During the research, a set of exercises aimed at increasing the efficiency of the participants' attack techniques was developed and these exercises were used by the participants of the experimental group. The developed set of exercises had a positive effect on the effectiveness of the offensive movements of the participants in the experimental group. In particular, the quality of attack movements, and the accuracy and efficiency of shots achieved positive growth in the experimental group. The results of the research serve to improve the technical and tactical training of young volleyball players and to organize training effectively.

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the speed of motor response to some basic skills in youth soccer players, and to identify the relationship between some basic skills and the speed of motor response in youth soccer players. The descriptive method was used by the researcher in the form of correlations to fit the research question. The research community was represented by young football players of the Border Sports Club in football, and the number of players (26) players were selected by the random method, and the researcher chose the research sample by random method and consisted of (18) players, the goalkeepers were excluded from the lottery and their number (3) and the sample was excluded from the exploratory experiment and their number (5). The speed of reaction test and the basic skills test were determined after being presented to a group of experts and specialists who considered it one of the most important basic skills in the game of football, as most scientific sources emphasize that it is the basis of the learning and training process in the game of football. And because mastering this skill will quickly help improve the performance of other skills. The researcher relied on the statistical package (SPSS) version (25). The researcher concluded from her study that young soccer players are characterized by fast motor response, and that the speed of motor response has an effective role in the accuracy of some special skills, including the skill of handling, rolling and shooting for young soccer players.

Abstract

Many international athletic organizations have proposed injury-reduction strategies. These practices include injury screening, emergency medical care, along with injury management measures prior to return-to-play. The extent to which these methods are being adopted in a developing nation like Iraq is uncertain. This paper was contributed to study the role of sports medicine in preventing and managing common injuries in athletes. Our paper focused on the role of sports medicine in treating injured athletes in Iraq. To build up, our methodology’s study was enrolled rate of acute injuries for 80 cases based on organized the demographic characteristics of sports players with three basics which are football, athletics, and handball. The data were analysed using the SPSS program. This study was presented a cumulative analysed and covered all 80 cases during period from 17th January 2022 to 19th March 2023.mThe findings demonstrated a lack of pre-season screening and return-to-play preparedness for all injured athletes. Furthermore, for the majority of injury categories, best practice standards were not followed. This study identified constraints, including sports resource providers' inadequate knowledge, insufficient and insufficiently specialized facilities for treating injured athletes, and policies mandating treatment for injured athletes. These obstacles hinder the implementation of best medical practices.

Abstract

The first chapter contained the introduction and importance of the research, as the importance of using the cognitive training strategy according to cognitive flexibility was addressed for learning football for first-stage students. The research aims to address whether educational units developed by the researchers positively influence learning outcomes in football scoring. The objectives of the research were to prepare educational units using a cognitive training strategy according to cognitive flexibility in learning the skill of scoring in football. Where the research areas were: The human field: first-year students in the College of Basic Education, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Al- Mustansiriya University, the time field: for the period from 10/12/2022 until 2/ 10/2023. As for the research community, it was represented by the students of the first stage in the College of Basic Education/Al- Mustansiriya University (70) students. The sample consisted of two equal groups (10), experimental and control. The Vina system was used using a three-dimensional test to determine cognitive flexibility. The researcher conducted pre-tests for the research sample, then the main experiment was applied for a period of 10 weeks, one educational unit per week, after which the researcher conducted the post-tests and the pre-tests with the same procedures, which indicated that there were significant differences between the two research groups and in favor of the experimental group. The conclusions were that there was a positive impact of the educational units used in the research to learn skills, as the researcher recommended using a cognitive training strategy according to cognitive flexibility in learning other skills.

Abstract

The role of Reciprocal leadership is considered essential for those working in the Directorate of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports from their point of view, as they are responsible for achieving work goals and encouraging interaction within the institutional environment. Transactive leadership is a leadership style that depends on mutual interaction between the leader and employees in the organization, where emphasis is placed on the actual results of performance and linking reward to achievement, while relying on the principle of reward and punishment. This is done by assigning work to subordinates and correcting errors before they occur or taking corrective steps in the event of a mistake. As for the problem of the research, identifying the reciprocal leadership among workers in the Directorate of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports from their point of view. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a reciprocal leadership questionnaire and included its paragraphs from (29) paragraphs distributed over three areas: the first area is conditional reward, the second area is conditional punishment, and the third area is management by exception, and it was distributed to them. The human area was composed of workers in the Directorate of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports, while the time area is between 1/23/2024 and 2024/4/23 As for the spatial field, the Directorate of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports, the descriptive approach was used, and the research community consisted of (36) workers. The main experiment was (30) workers in the Directorate of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports, from their point of view, and the exploratory experiment was (6) As for statistical processing, to analyze the data in this study, the statistical package was used SPSS. The researcher concluded that the attention and encouragement of workers in the Directorate of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports to reciprocal leadership because of its positive impact on the quality of the reciprocal relationship between the leader and subordinates and an important role in exercising effective leadership tasks. In light of the results, the study presented several recommendations, including developing a clear perception among workers in the Directorate. Ministry of Youth and Sports on the reciprocal leadership style based on exchanging rewards and punishment in exchange for work.

Abstract

The research aims to identify the management of the orientation towards competition in handball for students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the differences in the management of the orientation towards competition in handball for the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences according to the gender variable (males - females). The researcher used the descriptive method because it is suitable for the research procedures. The research community consisted of students from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, third stage, morning study at Al-Mustansiriya University / College of Basic Education for the academic year (2023 - 2024). The sample consisted of (90) male and female students distributed into three sections, with (65) males and (30) females. The researcher randomly selected a sample of (50) of them, with (25) males and (25). The research tool was the management of orientation toward competition, designed by (Mohamed Hassan Allawi) to measure the management of orientation toward competition for students of physical education and sports sciences because it represents one of the important dimensions of athletic achievement goal orientations. The researcher used the statistical package (SPSS), version (25), to obtain the results. The researcher concluded from the results that there is a case of managing the orientation towards competition among the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, as well as the absence of significant differences in the case of managing the orientation towards competition among the students of the Department of Education and Sports Sciences according to the gender variable (males - females).
