Abstract

Motivation is the cornerstone of effective learning, and its cultivation begins in the elementary school years. This research delves into the relationship between rewards and students' learning motivation in elementary schools, offering valuable insights for educators, administrators, and policymakers. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, and classroom observations to provide a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics at play. The research uncovers a significant positive correlation between the frequency of receiving rewards and students' academic performance, underlining the effectiveness of rewards as extrinsic motivators. However, the qualitative data reveals a more profound layer of motivation, with rewards serving as catalysts for the development of intrinsic motivation. Students describe rewards as initial sparks that gradually transition them from extrinsic to intrinsic motivation, fostering a genuine love for learning. Personalization emerges as a key factor in motivation, as tailoring rewards to individual students' interests and needs enhances long-term motivation. The positive classroom atmosphere observed in reward-rich environments contributes to engagement, enthusiasm, and overall motivation. The study provides practical implications for educators, administrators, and policymakers. It emphasizes the strategic use of rewards to motivate students, create a positive learning environment, and transition students towards intrinsic motivation. This research offers a bridge between theory and practice, empowering stakeholders to enhance the educational experience, ultimately guiding students to become lifelong learners with a passion for knowledge acquisition.

Abstract

This research delves into the transformative role of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology in archaeological exploration, with a primary focus on the discovery of hidden archaeological sites. LiDAR has emerged as a game-changing tool, offering unprecedented advantages in the field, including rapid data collection, the penetration of coverings and vegetation, and a non-invasive approach to archaeological research. Through this technology, a multitude of hidden archaeological features, such as lost cities, intricate urban planning, extensive road networks, agricultural practices, and defensive structures, have been unveiled. These discoveries have rewritten historical narratives, reshaped our understanding of the past, and underscored the significance of cultural heritage preservation and sustainable land use practices. LiDAR's efficiency and accuracy have enhanced the speed and precision of data collection, making it an essential tool for future archaeological studies. Its non-invasive nature respects the integrity of archaeological sites, and its multidisciplinary collaborations expand the horizon of research. The recognition of the cultural and spiritual significance of hidden archaeological sites, particularly in indigenous regions, has influenced future research approaches. Insights into ancient agricultural practices and sustainable land use have the potential to guide contemporary practices and environmental conservation. LiDAR technology continues to evolve, promising even more efficient and accurate data acquisition, thereby further deepening our understanding of the past and enhancing the future of archaeological research.

Abstract

This research delves into the intricate past of Bronze Age arrow weapons in Southeast Asia, offering a multifaceted examination of their function and technology. Through archaeological fieldwork, material analysis, comparative studies, and ethnographic research, we illuminate the advanced metallurgical knowledge that allowed the precise blending of copper and tin to create durable bronze alloys. These findings underscore the technological expertise of Bronze Age societies, providing valuable insights into the historical development of metallurgy. Moreover, this study unveils the multifunctional nature of arrow weapons, which played pivotal roles in hunting, warfare, and ceremonial practices, exemplifying the adaptability of Bronze Age communities. The intricate designs and decorations on arrowheads reveal the cultural and spiritual significance of these artifacts, emphasizing their role in belief systems and rituals. Additionally, our research suggests cross-cultural interactions and influences, positioning Southeast Asia as a vital crossroads for ancient trade networks and cultural exchange. This interdisciplinary approach brings together archaeology, materials science, and ethnography, highlighting the potential of collaborative research in unraveling the complexities of ancient societies. Ultimately, this study not only contributes to our understanding of arrow weapons but also underscores their broader implications for the fields of archaeology, anthropology, and the study of material culture. It reaffirms the enduring value of historical research and the significance of preserving and comprehending the material heritage of diverse regions, illuminating the rich tapestry of human history.
