Abstract

This research aims to identify service attributes based on the level of importance and performance according to palm oil farmers, knowing the level of satisfaction of oil palm farmers on the services that have been carried out by market institutions, knowing the level of satisfaction of oil Palm Farmers to the services carried out by Palm Oil Mill in Penarik District, Mukomuko Regency. This research was conducted in August 2018 on 80 respondents, namely 75 farmers and 5 marketing institutions. Research location determinedby using the two stage cluster sampling method. The data analysis methods used are Descriptive Analysis, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The result is that the service attributes that need to be improved by marketing institutions are the appropriate prices, time to pay, accuracy of weighing and honesty in service. Then the attributes that need to be improved in Palm Oil Mill are prices that match the accuracy of weighing and honesty in service. CSI values ​​on farmer respondents to marketing institutions were 74.67% and CSI values ​​on farmer respondents to Palm Oil Mill were 79.09%. Overall the level of satisfaction of oil palm farmers towards toke marketing services and PKS services is in the Satisfied category. The level of satisfaction to the MCC service is satisfied with the CSI index of 68.05%. Keywords: Oil Palm Farmers, Marketing, IPA, CSI, Satisfaction.

Abstract

Peran perempuan bukan saja di wilayah domestik, tetapi telah memasuki wilayah publik. Penelitian ini bertujun untuk menganalisis perubahan peran perempuan melalui aktivitas domestik dan publik, dan menganalisis peran perempuan dalam strategi nafkah serta sumbangannya terhadap pendapatan rumahtangga. Desa sampel di Kecamatan Namrole dipilih secara sengaja, yaitu Desa Fatmite dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 30 orang perempuan.

Abstract

Soybean plant [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] Is a food crop that is a source of fat, protein, and minerals. Drought stress is a major obstacle in the cultivation of soybean plants, which causes the synthesis of excessive amounts of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) which triggers oxidative stress. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is the most stable ROS, in low concentrations it can act as a signaling molecule and activate an antioxidant defense system to protect plants from oxidative stress. The study was conducted at the Plant Structure and Function Biology Laboratory of Diponegoro University. The study aims to determine the effect of H2O2 treatment on the condition of different levels of water availability on the vegetative growth of soybean plants variety Deja 1. Research using a completely randomized design (CRD) 4x2 factorial pattern. The first factor is H2O2 concentration (0 0.5 1 and 2 mM). The second factor is the level of water availability (100 and 35% of field capacity). Each treatment was repeated 5 times. Quantitative data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by DMRT test at 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was an interaction between the H2O2 concentration factor and the level of water supply to the canopy fresh weight. The 2 mM H2O2 treatment at 100% water availability and 1 mM H2O2 with 35% water availability increased vegetative growth as indicated by the canopy and root fresh weight parameters, number of leaves, stomata opening width, relative water content. Based on the results of the study it can be stated that the exogenous H2O2 treatment of leaves with certain concentrations at all different levels of water availability can increase the vegetatif growth of soybean variety of Deja 1.

Abstract

The purpose of this experiment is to evaluate the best combination of inorganic fertilizers and organic material from palm oil mill waste decanter cake, which give the best Chinese kale growth and yield at ex-coal mined soils. This is a pot research, conducted at Agricultural Farm, Agriculture Faculty, Jambi University, using RCBD with one factors and 11 treatments of combinations of NPK + Decanter Cake fertilizer from palm oil mill solid waste. The parameters observed were increase in plant height and number of leaves, leaf area and plant fresh weight. The results showed, the best treatments for increasing plant height and number of leaves was achieved at 50% of NPK from recommended doses with DC 20 ton/ha or 75% of NPK with DC 20 tons per hectare. For leaf area and plant fresh weight (yield), was achieved at 50 percent of NPK from recommended doses + DC 15 tons per hectare. The conclusion of this research is to increase chienese kale growth and yield in ex-coal mining soil can be done by fertilizing NPK 50 percent from recommended doses + decanter cake 15 tons per hectare.

Abstract

Lahan sulfat masam kalimantan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi lahan yang produktif, dengan pengoptimalan lahan yang baik. Pemanfaatan keanekaragaman mikroorganisme rhizosfer, khususnya kapang dapat berpotensi memberikan solusi dalam pengoptimalan lahan pertanian, yaitu dengan kemampuan menghasilkan enzim-enzim ekstraseluler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi kapang asal lahan sulfat masam dalam menghasilkan enzim extraseluler (pektinase, kitinase, glukanase, selulase, dan fosfatase). Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2019 di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi, Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Bioteknologi dan Sumberdaya Genetik Pertanian, Bogor. Penapisan kapang penghasil enzim ekstraseluler dilakukan pada media seleksi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh beberapa isolat memiliki kemampuan dalam menghasilkan enzim ekstraseluler. Indikasi adanya kemampuan kapang dalam menghasilkan enzim ekstraseluler yaitu adanya zona bening pada medium seleksi. Pada pengujian pektinase, kitinase dan glukanase semua isolat menunjukan hasil yang negatif. Isolat yang potensial dalam menghasilkan enzim ekstraseluler diantaranya Penicillium sp. Padi 4.1 (indeks selulolitik 2.43), Clonostachys sp. KRMT 17.9 dan Penicillium singorense KLK 13.7 (masing-masing indeks proteolitik 3.97 dan 3,00). Perbedaan nilai indeks menunjukan adanya variasi tingkat aktivitas enzim.

Abstract

Some rubber farmers in Indonesia use un-recommended latex coagulant and it causes bad quality of rubber. The utilization of organic latex coagulants has the potential way to improve rubber quality. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of pineapple exocarp extract, gadung tuber extract and liquid of pulp cocoa fermentation as latex coagulants toward rubber quality. The study was using Randomized Completely Block Design with six treatments and four replications the treatments tested was 10 ml and 20 ml pineapple exocarp extract, 10 ml and 20 ml gadung extract and 10 ml and 20 ml liquid of pulp cocoa fermentation. The parameters observed were contact time, weight of rubber and rubber characteristic which are comprised of serum clarity, rubber color and rubber stinky smell produced, ash content and volatile matter compared to Standart Indonesian Rubber (SIR) 20. The result of this study showed that 20 ml latex coagulant had faster contact time than others and increased weight of the rubber. It showed that rubbers produced a bit stinky smell as well, it was better than rubbers produced by inorganic latex coagulant.
