Abstract

This study aims to determine and provide an explanation of the relationship adversity quotient with work performance on account officers at PT. PBR Independent Assets and Groups. The method of this research is quantitative with 156 account officer employees as subjects. The determination of subjects uses a saturated sampling technique in which all members of the population are taken as samples. The variables in this study are adversity quotient and work performance. Collecting data in this study used an adversity quotient scale made by researchers with a Likert scale model and work performance. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive relationship between the adversity quotient and work performance. Data analysis in this study used product moment correlation statistical tests with the help of SPSS 18 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between the adversity quotient and the work performance of account officers at PT. BPR Self and Group Assets with a value of r = 0.438 with a significance value of 0.000 (P <0.05). This means that the higher the adversity quotient owned by the account officer, the higher the work performance produced and vice versa, the lower the adversity quotient owned, the lower the work performance.

Abstract

A company is expected to create a comfortable and conducive working atmosphere so that employee job satisfaction can increase and create a good organizational climate. This is the background of this research. This study aims to determine "The Relationship between Organizational Climate and Job Satisfaction of Indomaret Retail Store Employees in the Sidoarjo Region". The X variable is Organizational Climate and the Y variable is Job Satisfaction. The sample in this study were Indomaret retail store employees in Sidoarjo, which are located in 3 sub-districts, namely, Porong, Tanggulangin, and Candi with a total of 191 employees. The cluster sampling technique was used in this study with a scale-building model, namely the job satisfaction scale and the organizational climate scale. On the job satisfaction scale it was found that the validity value moved from 0.082 to 0.599 and the results of the job satisfaction scale reliability test obtained the Alpha Cronbach's reliability coefficient of 0.902 with a total of 34 valid items. While the organizational climate scale found validity values ​​that moved from 0.065 to 0.391 and the results of the organizational climate scale reliability test obtained Alpha Cronbach's reliability coefficient of 0.916 with a total of 34 valid items. The method used in this research is descrptive qualitative with the help of SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of data analysis on the organizational climate scale with the job satisfaction scale obtained rxy = 0.694 with a sig. 0.000 <0.050 which means the hypothesis can be interpreted that there is a significant relationship between organizational climate and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Student is an individual who is in the process of studying a particular discipline. One of the biggest challenges when someone becomes a student is working on a thesis as one of the final forms of the study program being undertaken. Many factors influence how quickly and persistently a person completes it, one of which is social support. This study aims to factually describe how the level of social support is for psychology students who are working on their thesis. This study used quantitative research methods, then used a descriptive approach. The sample of this study was 149 students from a total of 254 student population. The measuring instrument used in this study is the social support scale which is compiled based on 4 aspects of social support and has been tested valid and reliable to use. After the data has been collected and processed, it can be concluded that informative with total of 35% percentage and instrumental support with 41% total of percentage is the highest type of social support obtained by the sample, while emotional support and appreciation support obtained by the research sample is still low with each percentage 34% and 35%.

Abstract

Self-efficacy and learning achievement are very important for every student to have in the learning process. When students have high self-efficacy, students will have power or ease in the learning process. There are difficulties in carrying out learning which include a lack of confidence when presenting in front of the class, easily discouraged when finding difficult assignments and cheating behavior when repeating. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and learning achievement in SMK YPM 8 Sidoarjo. The sample in this study was 129 students majoring in electrical engineering. The data collection technique used the self-efficacy and learning achievement scales using the Likert scale method. The reliability of the self-efficacy scale was tested using the saturated sampling technique and the results obtained from the 19 item reliability yield values were 0.825. The analysis technique used in this study is the Pearson correlation technique assisted by jasp 0.14.1.0 for windows. The results of the analysis of the data obtained with significance (p = 0.072 > 0.05), the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and student achievement in the electrical department of SMK YPM 8 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of low readiness of students to enter elementary school in grade 1 students of SD Negeri Sidokare 2 Sidoarjo. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental involvement and children's readiness to enter elementary school in grade 1 SD Negeri Sidokare 2 Sidoarjo. This type of research is correlational quantitative. The variables in this study are parental involvement as the independent variable and children's readiness to enter elementary school as the dependent variable. The population of this research is 66 students. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, namely saturated sampling. Data were collected using a psychological scale with the Likert scale model and the NST test kit, namely the parental involvement scale and the NST test kit for children's readiness to enter elementary school. Analysis of the data in this study used the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique with the help of the SPSS 26.0 for windows program. The results of the correlation analysis obtained a correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.461 (significance 0.000 <0.05) meaning that the research hypothesis was accepted, namely that there was a significant positive relationship between the variable parental involvement and the variable readiness of children to enter elementary school in grade 1 SD Negeri Sidokare 2 Sidoarjo.
