Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between peer attachment and psychological well-being in students at MTS NU Candi after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used class VII & VIII students as research respondents. The variables in this study are peer attachment and psychological well-being. Data analysis uses product moment correlation assisted by SPSS 26. The results of data analysis describe an R Square of 0.125, so it can be concluded that there is an influence between peer attachment to psychological well-being of 12.5%. From the results of the hypothesis testing it was found that the correlation coefficient showed the result rxy = 0.354 with peer attachment having a Sig value. 0.000, while the psychological well-being value is Sig. 0.000. This shows that there is a positive relationship between peer attachment and psychological well-being. This positive relationship can be eliminated if peer attachment is high, psychological well-being is also high, and vice versa if the lower the level of peer attachment, the lower the level of psychological well-being in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between employee anxiety facing the possibility of termination of employment with employee job satisfaction. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. This study used total sampling technique, 86 employees. The data collection technique was carried out by using a questionnaire. The measurement tools used are anxiety and job satisfaction scales with reliability values of 0,939 and 0,898. Data were analyzed using Spearman's Rho correlation analysis. The results show that the direction of the relationship between the two variables is inversely proportional or not unidirectional as the r value of -0,652. The effective contribution of employee anxiety about the possibility of layoffs to job satisfaction is 65.2%. Increased employee anxiety in facing layoffs will have an impact on decreasing job satisfaction, as well as a decrease in employee anxiety in facing layoffs will result in an increase in job satisfaction. Employee anxiety about the possibility of layoffs for freelancers at PT X Sidoarjo tends to be moderate, as well as job satisfaction for freelancers at PT X Sidoarjo is also moderate..

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of academic procrastination experienced by students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-monitoring and academic procrastination in students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population in this study amounted to 1257 students, so from the calculation using the krejcie Morgan formula the sample used was 297 students who were taken using stratified random sampling technique. Data collection in this study used two psychological scales, namely the self-monitoring scale from the self-monitoring aspect and the academic procrastination scale from the academic procrastination aspect. Data analysis in this study used Spearman's Correlations and the analysis process used the help of the JASP program version 0.13.1.0 for windows. The results showed that the value of r = -0.163 and the value of p = 0.005 where 0.005 <0.05, which means that there is a negative relationship between self-monitoring variables and academic procrastination in students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making 12th grade students at Vocational high school YPM 8 Sidoarjo. This type of research use quantitative with a correlational approach. The variables in this study is self-efficacy as the independent variable and career decision making as the dependent variable. The research was conducted at Vocational high school YPM 8 Sidoarjo with a total population of 382 students. The sample in this study were 242 students using the convenience sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a psychological scale, namely the self-efficacy scale and the career decision-making scale, both of which are in the form of a Likert scale. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making 12th grade students at Vocational high school YPM 8 Sidoarjo. Data analysis was carried out using the Product Moment correlation technique using the SPSS 25 for windows program. The results of data analysis show a correlation coefficient of 0.300 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. This indicates that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making. The magnitude of the effect on this variable is 0.300 which is classified as moderate. The limitations of the problems studied in this study are limited to the problem of making career decisions in 12th grade students at Vocational high school YPM 8 Sidoarjo with self-efficacy as a factor to dig deeper information about career decision making.

Abstract

Changes in social culture among student are the cause of consumtive behavior in the university environment. This study ais to determine the relationship between self control and consumtive behavior in psychology program student, university of muhammdiyah sidoarjo. The variables contained in this study are self control as the independent variable and consumtive behavior as the dependent variable. This reliability of the self control scale is 0.891 and the consumtive behavior scale is 0.916. data analysis was performed using person correlation coefficient of -0.451 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. it can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between self control and consumtive behavior. This mean that the heigher the self control, the lower the consumtive behavior experienced by psychology student at the university of muhammadiyah sidoarjo, on the other hand, if the self control is lower, the consumtive behavior experienced will be higher.
