<![CDATA[Street children are children who spend most of his time on the streets to work, play or activities of another. Street children live in the streets because of the dumped or get dumped from the family who is not able to bear the burden because of poverty, most of the time spent on the streets, so to pay attention to the health of the teeth and mouth are very limited. This research aims to know the description of the status of the health of the teeth and the mouth on the street children in Bandung. This type of research is descriptive research. The study population was all street children in Bandung. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 16 people. After that, the resulting data processed and presented in the form of frequency distribution tables. The results showed that the average Index of oral hygiene on street children in Bandung City has the criteria of OHI-S bad (56,25%), The DMF-T on street children Bandung has averaged 7.4 DMF-T with very high criteria, meaning that each child of the streets, with an average of 7-8 caries on teeth permanent.]]>

<![CDATA[Knowledge of dental and oral health is an effort to prevent and overcome dental health problems, one of which is dental caries. The prevalence of caries in the permanent molar one teeth is quite high, 65.77% in the mandibular molar one and 34.74% in the maxillary molar one. One of the reasons is because people's lack understanding about permanent tooth growth. They assume that the permanent teeth of the molar one are deciduous teeth and if there is damage, there will be a replacement. This study aims to determine the description of public knowledge about eruption of permanent molar one and dental caries. This descriptive study was conducted from February to April 2020. The population in this study were residents as many 50 families. The sampling technique was Purposive Sampling and obtained 20 respondents. Data obtained by filling out the questionnaire, processed and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results of the study prove the level of community knowledge regarding eruption of permanent molars, including the good category (5%), quite good category (80%) and bad category (15%). Level of community knowledge regarding dental caries including the good category (55%) and quite good category (45%). And the conclusion that the study prove the level of community knowledge regarding eruption of permanent molars, including the good category (5%), quite good category (80%) and bad category (15%). <![CDATA[Introduction: Dental health problems in children are still high due to lack of dental health maintenance behavior. Good and proper tooth brushing skills are important factors for the maintenance of dental health so as to prevent dental health problems in children. Purpose: This study aims to determine the tooth brushing skills in the 7 areas of the tooth surface in children aged 5 years before and after being educated to brush their teeth with individual education using a jaw model. Methods: This research method is a descriptive observation conducted in Bandung Regency.Research subjects were 9 children aged 5 years. Teeth brushing skills were observed before being given education to find out the early brushing skills in children and after being educated to find out changes in brushing skills in children. Result: The results indicate that the tooth brushing skills of respondents before being educated are still do not know the tooth brushing skills on the surface of the teeth facing the cheeks and the surface of the teeth facing the tongue and palate. After being given an education, their tooth brushing skills improved but there were still brushing skills that most respondents found difficult to get used to, namely brushing skills on the surface of the inner teeth facing the ceiling. Conclusion: There is an increase in the ability to brush teeth in 7 areas of children's tooth surface after being given education on brushing teeth.]]>

<![CDATA[Introduction: Lack of information and knowledge of parents about dental caries and prevention, can be the cause of dental caries in children. Nearly 90% of school-age children worldwide suffer from dental caries. In 2018, the prevalence of caries in the 12 year age group is 72%, one of the ways that can be done to prevent dental caries is by using fluoride topically. Purpose: This study aims to determine the description of parents' knowledge of elementary school age children in Kabupaten Sumedang about Topical Fluoride Applications (TAF). Methods: This research is a descriptive study with in-dept interview method. The population of this study is the parents of elementary school age children in the village of Sumedang Regency with 15 people. Sampling is done using Total Sampling. Result: The results showed the level of knowledge of parents of elementary school age children about Fluorical Topical Application (TAF) in Sumedang Regency, on average had a good level of knowledge, as many as 9 respondents with a percentage of (60%). Respondents who have a level of knowledge of less than (14%) as many as 2 respondents. Conclusion: Most respondents have good knowledge of the benefits of Topical Application Fluor (TAF) and respondents have less knowledge of the general description of Topical Application Fluor (TAF).]]>

<![CDATA[Anxiety is an individual or group situation that experiences feelings of anxiety (judgment and opinion) and autonomic system activities in response to vague and nonspecific threats. An ideal tooth extraction is the pain-free extraction of a single tooth, or tooth root, with minimal trauma to the supporting tissues of the tooth, so that the extractions can heal completely. The purpose of the preparation of this report is to identify the management of dental and oral health care for client Mr. MS (22 years) with anxiety / fear of tooth extraction. This type of research is a case report with the concept of dental and oral health care consisting of the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This report also explains about dental anxiety and tooth extraction. To the client MS found 1 tooth had to be extracted because of caries that was not treated / patched. The implementation provided is referring the client to extract the remaining root. The evaluation results show that there are 1 human needs that have not been met and 2 other basic human needs only partially met. <![CDATA[Infectious diseases in dental health services can be transmitted from one person to another through direct or indirect contact. Some diseases that can be transmitted are tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis, herpes, and other diseases whose pathogenic microorganisms are in the oral cavity. Dental technicians are one of the health workers who are at risk of cross-infection due to their work. This research is a descriptive study that aims to find out the description of knowledge about cross infection control in the dental technician community in the city of Bandung. Samples were 4 dental technicians who worked in 3 laboratories in Bandung. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire about controlling cross infection which is presented online in the form of Google Form. Two technicians have a sufficient level of knowledge in the category, and 2 other technicians in the good category. The problem of cross-infection control that is poorly understood by dental technicians is about the source of infection that has the most potential to transmit disease and the disinfection of printed materials. Dental technicians need to be given sufficient knowledge about cross infection control.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Introduction: Conceptualization and problem solving involve the need to understand ideas and abstractions to make good judgments about one's oral health. This need is considered fulfilled if the client understands the reasons for recommended oral health care interventions such as participating in setting goals for dental health care and does not have questions about professional dental health care or dental care, and does not have questions about the cause of oral problems related to overall health, and the importance of suggested solutions to resolve the issue. Objective: Obtain an overview of conceptualization and problem solving after watching the video tutorial on brushing teeth with modified stillman techniques. Metode : This type of research is descriptive, which means the research conducted to make a picture or description of the situation objectively (Notoatmodjo, 2015). The situation that will be described in research on the Conceptualization and Problem Solving Overview After Seeing the Tooth Brushing Tutorial Video with Modified Stillman Techniques. Results: The results of the study obtained, the percentage of respondents who felt the video tutorial brushing their teeth with this Modified Stillman technique was 100% useful. This shows that the understanding of how to maintain the dental health of respondents is good. Conclusion: The majority of respondents stated that they would practice the tooth brushing technique with the modified stillman technique. <![CDATA[Dental caries or cavities is a disease of hard tooth tissue marked by damaged enamel and dentin caused by bacterial metabolism in plaque. The result of untreated caries will cause the cavities to become larger and deeper, and eventually will cause the teeth to die.The tooth that has died will produce gas derived from the metabolism of microorganisms, the gas will cause unpleasant odors. Halitosis is a general term used to describe bad breath originating from both the oral cavity and outside the oral cavity.The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture of dental and oral health care in respondents aged 15 years with a case of caries reaching the pulp. The research data is presented with the concept of dental and oral health care consisting of the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Dental and oral health care that has been done, there are 3 basic human needs on the client that are not fulfilled, namely not fulfilling a healthy facial impression due to halitosis, not fulfilling the need for the function and biological condition of good teeth because they have caries reaching the pulp and responsibility responsible for oral health due to lack of responsibility for oral health. The evaluation results show that there are 2 human needs on the client have been met again and 1 basic human needs only partially met.]]>

<![CDATA[Brushing is a procedure that makes the necessity because the toothbrush is a tool to clean the teeth of the leftover food and plaque attached to the tooth surface. Uncleaned plaque will grow thicker when the calcification will become Tartar, maintenance of improper dental health that can cause problems for the health of the teeth and mouth. This research is a descriptive study. The purpose of this research is to know the idea of the level of knowledge about brushing teeth in the students of Pesantren Engg Ulum. This research is done by filling the questionnaire by taking samples using Probability Sampling, so that the sample 32 people obtained. The results of the study showed a level of knowledge with good criteria of 34.4%, sufficient criteria of 9.3% and criteria less 56.3%. Thus it can be concluded that the students of the boarding school Engg Ulum Parongpong is still lacking in the knowledge brushing well and correct teeth. Key words:Knowledge of brushing, students]]>

Discovered a picture the level of satisfacion public service in the medical center This type of research is a literature analysis study, in which this study will compare the level of patient satisfaction with services in RSU Puri Raharja, Sudiang health center in Bringin Kanaya Makassar, and Bangkala Health Center Bangkala Jeneponto Regency of South Sulawesi by reviewing the data collected by several researchers. After reviewing literature, the assessment of respondent is viewed from several dimensions unifying those who care for health car, being content with the pace of service given, with being content with the avaibility of tools and infrastructure available in health services.
