Abstract

This study will discuss Indonesia's potential and challenges in developing a blue economy in increasing the country's economic growth. The issues that will be raised in this study include: (1) how much does Indonesia's blue economy support sector contribute to the economy; 2) what are the challenges of developing the blue economy in Indonesia; and 3) what strategies are being implemented by the government in developing the blue economy for a sustainable economy in Indonesia. Studies on the contribution of the marine, fisheries, and coastal tourism sectors to Indonesia's economic growth have been carried out several times. However, these studies are regional in nature or only focus on certain areas. Apart from that, the study above has not fully examined the supporting sectors for the blue economy in Indonesia. There are still few studies on the blue economy in Indonesia. This is because this concept is relatively new and Indonesia itself is still in the process of determining policies in implementing it. Studies in Indonesia on industrial sectors supporting the marine economy that have implemented the blue economy concept include those that still specifically study one industrial sector or are micro in nature

Abstract

health crisis that the main character, Nina Sayers, faces. The movie presents Nina, a talented ballerina, as she struggles to embody the dual roles of the White Swan and Black Swan in a high-stakes ballet performance. This research used qualitative research. The data in this research is collected by watching the movie to collect information on the data, making notes of each dialogue or scene, and even a paragraph that contains a hierarchy of needs using the theory of Abraham Maslow, which classifies the data based on the hierarchy of needs. The research results are the main character, Nina, who finds it challenging to fully take on the Black Swan role because of her inadequate social life and the absence of romantic and emotional bonds required for the part. Her mother's excessive protectiveness and high expectations trap her, concentrating her attention solely on her ballet career and stifling other areas of her life. The movie highlights mental health crises, focusing on disorders caused by work pressure and perfectionism, conflicts between personal identity and societal expectations, feelings of isolation, and a lack of social support

Abstract

In Indonesia, English has been integrated into the educational system, yet it remains a foreign language with limited exposure outside the classroom, posing challenges to effective language acquisition. This study examines the feasibility of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) as an alternative pedagogical approach in Indonesian classrooms to address these challenges. Utilizing a qualitative case study, this study analyzes teacher-student interactions and engagement during TBLT’s pre-task, task cycle, and language focus phases. The findings indicate that TBLT offers a balance between grammar instruction and communicative competence, making it a viable approach within Indonesia’s educational constraints. Anticipated challenges, such as class size, student reluctance, and curriculum alignment, can be mitigated through teacher training, the use of engaging tasks, and developed materials. This study suggests that TBLT, particularly its weak version, aligns well with the Indonesian context, where it has the potential to foster language skills while accommodating curriculum requirements

Abstract

Madura Island is divided into four districts, each with distinct traditions, customs, and unique linguistic characteristics that are embedded in the daily lives of its people. The mastery of the Madurese community's practices concerning their own language ranges from its various level, such as enjâ’-iyâ, engghi-enten, dan èngghi-bhunten. In addition, the practice of speaking Madurese language correlates with the level of Madurese language usage and the social strata of the community. The uniqueness of Madurese speech, particularly in Sumenep, requires familiarization or cultural preservation efforts, such as the use of Madurese in official event protocols and the traditional ceremonies of wedding receptions (pemasrahan bhisan lake’). The aim of this research is to describe the use of the Sumenep Madurese language in wedding speeches, focusing on the correct and proper levels of speech. The language used in wedding receptions employs refined Sumenep Madurese diction, supported by proverbs and traditional rhymes unique to Sumenep. Abstract

The death of Al-Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh on May 11, 2022, left the public uncertain whether she was intentionally targeted by the Israeli army or killed by Palestinian gunfire. This study investigates the discursive representation of Shireen Abu Akleh, Palestinians, and Israeli soldiers during the conflict through the lens of critical discourse analysis (CDA) as outlined by Fairclough, encompassing the three stages of description, interpretation, and explanation. The analysis reveals that both Al-Jazeera and BBC News constructed a positive identity for Shireen Abu Akleh. However, BBC News notably emphasized her death as a consequence of her role as a reporter. Al-Jazeera explicitly attributed responsibility for her death to Israelis, whereas BBC News highlighted portrayals of Palestinians as terrorists and uncooperative. This demonstrates online media biases, subtly favoring the villains while showcasing how discourse shapes societal perceptions of justice and truth

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi sains siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) berbasis media Jeungki dan teknologi digitalisasi sekolah (Digsel) di SMA Negeri 1 Matangkuli. Jeungki, alat tradisional Aceh yang mencerminkan konsep gaya dan momen torsi, digunakan untuk membantu siswa memahami fisika dalam konteks budaya lokal. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi numerasi sains siswa dari pre-test ke post-test di setiap siklus. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep gaya dan momen torsi mencapai 27,3% pada siklus pertama dan 17,1% pada siklus kedua. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CRT dan Digsel meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, membuat mereka lebih aktif dan termotivasi. Wawancara mendukung hasil ini, di mana siswa menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis Jeungki dan Digsel lebih menarik dan relevan. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan CRT berbasis Jeungki dan Digsel efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi numerasi sains serta keterlibatan siswa. Integrasi budaya lokal dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman akademik, tetapi juga memperkuat apresiasi siswa terhadap budaya mereka sendiri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan teknologi blockchain dalam meningkatkan manajemen rantai pasokan perusahaan. Dalam menghadapi kompleksitas, kurangnya transparansi, dan tantangan teknologi. Teknologi blockchain dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meminimalkan biaya, mempercepat waktu proses, dan meningkatkan kepercayaan antara mitra bisnis. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis kajian literatur untuk mengidentifikasi potensi dan tantangan implementasi blockchain dalam rantai pasokan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa blockchain berkontribusi pada peningkatan transparansi, pelacakan produk, efisiensi melalui smart contracts, serta keamanan data dengan enkripsi yang kuat. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam adopsi teknologi ini, seperti biaya awal yang tinggi dan ketidakpastian regulasi. Kesimpulannya, meskipun tantangan tetap ada, manfaat blockchain dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, kepercayaan konsumen, dan keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan menunjukkan potensi besar dalam pengaplikasiannya pada rantai pasokan perusahaan

Abstract

Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk menyediakan bahan poster yang sesuai untuk digunakan di kelas IPA dan IPS tingkat sekolah dasar. Hal ini akan mengatasi salah satu kendala dalam mempelajari sains dan studi sosial serta mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam disiplin ilmu tersebut. Sudut pandang yang berbeda di antara siswa merupakan salah satu dari beberapa kesulitan yang terkait dengan mempelajari mata pelajaran sosial dan sains. Penelitian dan pengembangan merupakan strategi yang digunakan dengan mengubah paradigma ADDIE. Sebanyak 32 siswa kelas empat dari SDN 39 Kota Pontianak dan tiga verifikator ahli menjadi sumber data penelitian. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media ini dikategorikan sebagai sangat baik dan praktis untuk digunakan. Hal ini didukung dengan hasil kusioner sebagai berikut; aspek materi mencapai rata-rata 86,52%, didukung hasil kelayakan sebesar 98,52% oleh validator ahli, dan aspek kebahasaan memperoleh rata-rata hasil 85,15%. Rata-rata persentase orang adalah 92,5%, dan pada sisi desain diperoleh rata-rata persentase 85,15% dengan kegiatan pengujian didukung hasil kelayakan dari validator profesional dengan rata-rata persentase 92,18%

Abstract

This research investigated how Telegram Group improved students' vocabulary achievement in terms of word class, consisting of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, word meanings, and language usage among the grade eight students at SMP Negeri 25 Pontianak. A pre-experimental design was used in the investigation. Enrolment in the study was limited to ninety-four children from eight grade levels (A, B, and C). A total of 32 students from 8B were used as a sample in this study. The research data was derived from the outcomes of both the pre- and post-tests. With a total of thirty items, the test was comprised of multiple-choice questions. Microsoft Excel was used for the data analysis. There was a marked improvement between the results of the pre- and post-tests. Data analysis revealed that after the test, the average score was 89.84, up from 68.53 before the test. Moreover, the effect size was 1.728, suggesting that the alternative hypothesis “The use of Telegram group is effective on vocabulary acquisition of eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Pontianak” was accepted. Based on the acceptance of the hypothesis, it is suggested that teachers use Telegram Group more often in teaching vocabulary.

Abstract

Blockchain merupakan teknologi kriptografi yang mengusung prinsip buku besar terdistribusi (distributed ledger) dan menawarkan banyak keunggulan, terutama dalam hal keamanan. Inovasi dalam teknologi ini mendorong kemunculan Keuangan Terdesentralisasi (DeFi), yang mengubah cara transaksi keuangan tradisional dengan menghilangkan perantara, sehingga memungkinkan interaksi langsung antara pengguna. DeFi menyediakan layanan seperti pinjaman, tabungan, investasi, dan pertukaran aset digital dengan transparansi dan efisiensi tinggi. Ekosistem DeFi yang berkembang pesat memanfaatkan platform blockchain seperti Ethereum, Solana, dan AAVE, masing-masing memiliki fitur unik yang mendukung inovasi keuangan. Aplikasi yang muncul dalam DeFi mencakup aset sintetis, pertukaran terdesentralisasi (DEX), dan stablecoin, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada aksesibilitas dan likuiditas. Meskipun DeFi menawarkan peluang besar dalam inklusi keuangan global, tantangan seperti risiko keamanan, volatilitas pasar, likuiditas rendah, dan perhatian regulator menjadi isu penting yang harus diatasi untuk memastikan pertumbuhan dan keberlanjutan ekosistem ini
