Abstract

Patients with comorbid are above 45 years on average. Diabetes and heart disease are risk factors for death from COVID-19 because those with diabetes have a 4.384 times greater risk of dying from Covid-19 than patients without diabetes. Patients with heart disease have a 4.319 times greater risk of dying from Covid -19 of the patients without comorbidities. This research aims to determine the risk factors for death of COVID-19 patients at Undata Hospital Palu. This is an analytical survey research with case control study method. The total sample is 62 samples consisting of 31 cases and 31 controls using the statistical test, namely the Odds Ratio. The results show that age is a risk factor with an OR value of 5.975>1, gender is a risk factor with an OR value of 1.304>1 and comorbidities are a risk factor with an OR value of 11.979 > 1. For Undata Hospital, it is expected to further improve the quality of Covid services, especially for patients who have age and comorbid risks so as to speed up the healing process of COVID-19 patients and reduce the death rate due to Covid-19.

Abstract

Food processing is a method or technique to change raw material becomes food or another form that is readily consumed by human being, begun from preparation of food processing like making and ready food to serve. The objective of this research is to find out study of knowledge and attitude off food touchers inprocessing food pogain beach diner, tomini village, tomini district of parigi moutong. This research used qualitive method descriptive approach. Data obtained through process of in the indepenth interview to the people who are considered to know about field situation that was searched. All data that have been collected become the key toward what is searched. Research finding according to informant’s description can be concluded that cnowledge of food touchers is still low concerning with hygine, sanitation of food processing and as well as attitude of food touchers still lack of payimg attention to hygiene, sanitation of food processing. The research finding is expected to increase hygine sanitation of food processing.

Abstract

The development of industrial food products that are growing rapidly and are ready-to-eat, make people increasingly fond of complementary food products, namely sauces and soy sauce. Even the food consumed is of particular concern because it causes many losses, such as patients who are poisoned or whose digestion is disrupted due to the food being consumed has been contaminated by materials or microorganisms. This study aims to determine the bacterial content of various brands of soy sauce and tomato sauce in Masomba market, Palu City. The method used in this research is descriptive research using an observational approach where in practice this study aims to determine the presence or absence of bacteria in soy sauce and tomato sauce of various brands in Masomba Palu market. Based on the results of research conducted on ten samples of soy sauce and tomato sauce sold at the Masomba market in Palu which was carried out at the Environmental Health Laboratory of Poltekkes, the Ministry of Health, Palu, it was found that one positive sample contained Eschercia coli and Staphlococcus bacteria, namely the soy sauce sample E with MPN number 43, and Staphlococcus. aureus with 12 colonies. This study suggests that soy sauce producers should increase the selection of good raw materials and improve the sanitation of soy sauce making. For the community, it is expected to be more careful in choosing the soy sauce snacks that will be consumed. For further researchers, it is hoped that they will be able to examine other pathogenic bacteria and check the content of other food additives contained in soy sauce such as preservatives, thickeners.

Abstract

Dragon fruit peel contains high anthocyanin, pectin, and fiber. In addition, it also has an antioxidant capacity, ant proliferative effect, and polyphenols. In addition, the antioxidant activity in the peel of the dragon fruit is greater than in its flesh. The purpose of this study is to analyze the macronutrient of dragon fruit peel dodol. This is experimental research with laboratory analysis. The implementation includes data, analysis, and interpretation of the data obtained from the results of laboratory analysis. The sample of this research is 1-2 kg of dragon fruit peel. Based on the research result, the carbohydrate content in sample 1 test 1 is 3021 mg and test 2 is 3570 mg, in sample 2 test 1 is 3881 and test 2 is 4050 mg. The protein content of sample 1 test 1 is 1023 mg and test 2 is 1264 sample in test 1 of 1183 mg in test II of 1130 mg. The fat content value of sample 1 test 1 is 571 mg and test 2 is 684 mg, sample 2 of test 1 is 663 mg in test 2 is 730 mg. It is suggested that the government should take some food diversification to increase people’s interest to consume nutritious food to increase immune system so that the community’s nutritional status can increase.

In this study, the research problems (1) How is the repulsion power of lime leaf extract (Citrus aurantifolia) and patchouli leaf (Pogostemon cablin benth) compared to Aedes aegypti mosquito?The objetives to be achieved ere (1) To find out the comparison of the repulsion power of lime leaf extract (Citrus aurantifolia) with patchouli leaf (Pogostemon cablin benth) against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes (2) To determine the repulsion power of lime leaf extract (Citrus aurantifolia) against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes (3) Knowing the effectiveness of patchouli leaf extract (Pogostemon cablin benth) toward Aedes aegypti Mosquito.
