Abstract

Abstract This research seeks to assess the extent to which macroeconomic indicators such as inflation, money supply, the BI Rate, and exchange rates affect the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). This study employs a quantitative method through data analysis using multiple linear regression techniques. the use of this method is made to determine the impact of the relationship between related variables. The data source in this study comes from secondary data available on the official website with a monthly time series data pattern starting from the period 2019 to 2024. The results of this study found that partially the ISSI is affected by inflation and exchange rates, this is evidenced by the negative results that show if inflation and value have a negative and significant effect. Compared to the money supply and BI Rate which shows a positive impact on the ISSI. On the other hand, through simultaneous tests it was found that the ISSI was simultaneously influenced by inflation, money supply, BI rate and exchange rate. This indicates that macroeconomic factors have an impact on the ISSI.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how risk perception and financial literacy influence Generation Z's choice to adopt the Pay Later payment method in Cirebon City. Although Pay Later service is a Financial Technology (Fintech) innovation becoming increasingly popular among young people, it also contains financial hazards if used carelessly. In this study, 156 members of Generation Z who have utilized Pay Later services participated in a quantitative study using a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The research findings show that the decision to choose a Pay Later payment plan is positively and significantly influenced by risk perception and financial literacy. High risk perception encourages caution in financial decision-making, although good financial literacy makes people more selective in the use of this service. Combined, these two factors can explain the difference in the choice to use Pay Later. These results highlight the importance of improving risk transparency and financial education when using digital financial services, especially for younger people.

Abstract

Organic vegetables are one of the choices in ensuring safe and quality food that is beneficial for health. However, efforts to ensure organic vegetables that are free from pesticides or other chemicals must still be made as an effort to improve the quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine customer perceptions of food traceability information on organic vegetables. The method used by the researcher was a quantitative method with descriptive statistical and perceptual analysis. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires via Google Form. The technique used in selecting respondents was convenience sampling. Perceptions of food traceability information were assessed through five variables, namely informativeness, trustworthiness, food safety, reliability, product diagnosticity. Food traceability information on organic vegetables was rated very high on the five attributes of traceability information, namely informativeness, trustworthiness, food safety, reliability and product diagnosticity. The results showed that there was a significant difference between men and women in assessing the five attributes. Female respondents tended to rate the five attributes of traceability information on organic vegetables lower than male respondents. Suggestions for further research are that the objects used can be replaced with other food products or other research areas.

Abstract

Transfer pricing has emerged as a critical issue in Indonesia's technology sector, driven by rapid growth (2019–2023) and regulatory scrutiny under BEPS, with firms leveraging intangible assets, tax disparities to optimize profits. This study examines these dynamics through Agency Theory (Jensen & Meckling, 1976) and Institutional Theory (DiMaggio & Powell, 1983), revealing how managerial incentives and external pressures shape transfer pricing strategies. This study used existing data from company annual reports collected through documentation methods, using descriptive statistics to summarize the data and inferential statistics with the Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR) model in EVIEWS to test the hypotheses. The research reveals that tax rate, intangible assets, and leverage do not significantly influence transfer pricing decisions, indicating that these factors may not be the primary drivers of transfer pricing strategies. Conversely, bonus mechanisms significantly affect transfer pricing, highlighting the importance of managerial incentives in shaping corporate tax practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how the non-physical work environment and organizational commitment affect employee turnover at PT. X in Surabaya. In this study, a 1-5 Likert scale was used to measure the opinions, attitudes, and perceptions of individuals or groups regarding certain social phenomena. Responses to this scale could be positive or negative statements regarding an individual's attitude. The following study involved all 67 salesmen of PT. X in Surabaya. A saturated sample method was used to collect samples. SmartPLS 3 software was used to analyze the data after the questionnaire was distributed. The advantage of this software is that it requires a relatively small sample size compared to its competitors, and the bootstrapping method allows data to be distributed in a non-normal manner. The results of the study show that a good non-physical work environment and organizational commitment reduce employees' desire to leave PT. X in Surabaya. The following conclusion shows that a good non-physical work environment and high organizational commitment have a negative and significant effect on employees' desire to leave the company.

Abstract

Public interest in forex investment is increasing along with easier access to information and technological developments. However, many forex traders make investment decisions without adequate knowledge and consideration of risk. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, risk perception, and loss aversion on forex investment decisions. The research population consists of forex traders in Surabaya with specific criteria. Questionnaires were distributed online using Google Forms as a data collection instrument. The research employs a quantitative approach using primary data and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results indicate that high levels of financial literacy enhance traders' ability to gather and analyze information before investing. Good risk perception encourages traders to be more cautious in facing forex market fluctuations. Loss aversion influences traders to avoid significant losses, leading them to be more selective in choosing investment strategies. These psychological factors become increasingly relevant with technological advancements and the ease of accessing trading platforms.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Job Satisfaction and Job Insecurity on Turnover Intention among employees at Hotel Harmony in Kubu Raya Regency. The high rate of employee turnover causes various problems, such as increased recruitment costs, decreased service quality, and disruptions to hotel operations. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting employees’ intentions to leave the company, focusing on two main variables: Job Satisfaction and Job Insecurity. A quantitative approach was used, employing a survey method with a structured questionnaire. The respondents consisted of 44 individuals selected using a non-probability sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to determine both the simultaneous and partial effects between the variables. The F-test results indicate that Job Satisfaction and Job Insecurity simultaneously have a significant effect on Turnover Intention. The t-test shows that Job Satisfaction has a negative and significant effect, meaning that the higher the job satisfaction, the lower the intention to leave. Conversely, Job Insecurity has a positive and significant effect, indicating that a sense of job insecurity encourages the intention to leave. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.639 shows that these two variables explain 63.9% of the variation in Turnover Intention. This study recommends that management improve job satisfaction by creating a comfortable work environment, establishing a fair reward system, and maintaining open communication. Additionally, management needs to foster a sense of security to reduce anxiety and suppress Turnover Intention.
