Abstract

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning of Language has been extensive. It has been effective in increasing performance and retention rate. Research has shown that people remember 20% of what they see, 40% of what they see and hear, but about 75% of what they see, hear and do simultaneously (Lindstrom 73). ICT is now permeating the educational system as a tool for effective teaching and learning. With multimedia, the communication of information can be done in a more effective manner and it can be effective instructional medium for delivering information. Multimedia access to knowledge of the possibilities of information and communication technology has tremendous impact on learning. The instructional media have emerged in a variety of resources and equipment, which can be used to supplement or complement the teacher’s efforts in ensuring effective learning by students. It is recognized that conventional media technologies can no longer meet the need of our teaching and learning process; as a result, they are being replaced by multimedia technology.

Abstract

This study explores the transformative potential of integrating digital resources and platforms to enhance the teaching of Arabic language and literature in Islamic education. Recognizing the evolving landscape of education and the growing influence of technology, this study investigates the theoretical framework supporting the use of digital tools in pedagogy within Islamic settings. A comprehensive review of literature reveals the current state of technology integration in Arabic language and literature education and identifies gaps in research that necessitate further exploration.            The paper provides an in-depth examination of available digital resources and platforms suitable for language and literature instruction, categorizing them based on their applicability. Practical implementation strategies are proposed, considering the cultural and religious nuances inherent in Islamic education. The paper concludes with recommendations for future research and underscores the importance of continued exploration of emerging technologies to advance Arabic language and literature education in Islamic contexts.

Abstract

Abstract: This qualitative research investigates the ramifications of stunting prevalence on defense force recruits' physical readiness and cognitive capabilities in developing countries. Utilizing secondary data, the study aims to elucidate the impact of stunting on military personnel and explore the challenges stunted individuals encounter within national defense forces, consequently affecting force effectiveness. Furthermore, the research evaluates strategic interventions to combat stunting and proposes their integration into national defense frameworks. Findings indicate a significant correlation between stunting prevalence and compromised physical readiness among defense force recruits. Stunted individuals exhibit reduced physical fitness, compromised muscle development, and increased susceptibility to illnesses, hindering their readiness for military service. Moreover, the cognitive capabilities of stunted recruits are notably affected, with diminished memory, attention span, and decision-making abilities identified as challenges within defense forces. Strategic interventions encompassing nutrition programs, healthcare initiatives, and education campaigns emerge as effective measures against stunting. The integration of these interventions into national defense frameworks is proposed to enhance force readiness and performance. This research underscores the urgency of addressing stunting within defense forces, emphasizing its pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness. Keywords: cognitive capabilities, defense forces, physical readiness, strategic interventions, stunting
