Abstract

Mathematics learning is still a problem for many students. This can be seen from the average mathematics scores being lower than other subjects. Of the 23 first grade students at SDN Haurpugur 02 Elementary School, only 8 students or 34.78% have completed mathematics learning, while 15 students or 65.21% have not, especially on addition and subtraction materials. To teach this material, a suitable learning medium is concrete objects so that students get real and concrete learning experiences according to their developmental stage. This classroom action research was conducted by applying concrete object media in learning mathematics on addition and subtraction materials. The results showed an increase in student activity and learning outcomes. In Cycle I using concrete object media, 20 students (62.5%) have completed. In Cycle II the number of students completed increased to 28 students (90.63%). Thus it can be concluded that the use of concrete object media can improve student learning outcomes in addition and subtraction materials.

Abstract

Students' creativity in SBdP learning at the basic education level aims to develop awareness of art or beauty because teachers have great difficulty testing students' creativity. Infrastructure is still minimal, so it greatly influences the process of teaching and learning activities. This can be seen from the lack of interest of students to be creative when teachers carry out teaching and learning activities in class. The aim of this research is to analyze teachers' efforts to increase students' creativity in SBDP learning in elementary schools. This research is research using a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that there are several obstacles for teachers in increasing students' creative thinking, namely teachers not being able to utilize technology well, lack of infrastructure, teachers' abilities are still low, and teachers are less creative in making teaching materials. The efforts made by teachers in dealing with problems are respecting the ideas expressed by students, teachers can stimulate students' creativity during learning, and teachers must respect questions or answers from students. The implication of this research is that it is hoped that teachers can use SBDP learning to see students' creative abilities level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of classroom management on discipline on learning activities in elementary schools, supporting factors and inhibiting factors in classroom management. The type of research used in this study uses qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques and supported by literature studies. This research covers how strategic classroom management is applied by teachers effectively, such as classroom rules, interactions between teachers and students, the application of sanctions and also rewards that can affect student discipline. In the class management strategy, of course, there will be supporters and obstacles in its implementation. Supporting factors include curriculum, facilities, teachers, students and families. As for obstacles, they can occur by teachers, students, then the family environment and facility factors. The results of this study are expected to provide insight into the importance of effective classroom management in improving student discipline in the learning environment.

Abstract

Education at the elementary school level should carried out within a school scope and environment that provides a sense of security, calm and fun for each student. Various things that can cause the scope of learning in elementary school to be less enjoyable and feel unsafe are due to bullying towards students. The main aim of this research is to see what impacts bullying behavior has on students. The research show that the impact of bullying behavior covers a fairly broad impact. The impact of bullying is on both the perpetrator of the bullying and the victim of the bullying. Victims of bullying experience feelings of inferiority, difficulty in social relationships and experience a decline in learning outcomes and there are also students whose self-confidence decreases and is afraid when meeting other people. For the perpetrator of bullying, the perpetrator becomes a person not have empathy and can become arrogant towards friends or other people if it is not addressed immediately; (2) the factors that cause bullying consist of various factors including: family, peer and environmental factors as well as gadget factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore how teachers perceive the transition from a K-13 curriculum to an independent curriculum. The method used is a descriptive research type qualitative approach. Both students and students' parents and her 4th grade teacher in SD Negri 1 Ganjaran. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The researchers found that teachers' opinions on the 2013 curriculum changes in SD Negri 1 Ganjaran varied widely. Many teachers rated the changes from the 2013 curriculum to their own curriculum as very positive and made it easier to meet learning objectives. However, no matter how strong the idea of curriculum change is, implementation will be difficult if teachers are not adaptable or prepared. As educators, effective implementation of the curriculum within an educational institution is essential to successfully achieving educational goals.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the errors seen when students write capital letters and punctuation marks in a sentence that is made. This research was conducted using a method that is descriptive qualitative, where this method involves direct research, in observing an object under study, which aims to examine errors when using capital letters and punctuation marks in an essay that has been made by students and female students. The data collection from the research results is explained together with the location of the errors and explained in words. In this study, the subjects studied were third grade students of SDN Banjarsari 113 with a total of 32 students and third grade teachers of SDN Banjarsari 113. The research employs documentation, interviews, and observation as methods for collecting data. Data review was carried out by collecting data, data selection process, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research conducted found several errors in the application of capital letters and punctuation marks. These errors include the writing and placement of capital letters in a sentence, mistakenly placing punctuation marks in a sentence made, and errors in the application of capital letters usually occur in the initial word which is the first sentence, in new sentences, in sentence substitutions, place names and names of people. The cause of these errors is because students still write casually, do not pay attention to the proper application of capital letters and punctuation marks, do not understand the use of capital letters and punctuation marks themselves, and are unfocused or do not pay attention when the teacher explains, then forget the proper writing of capital letters and punctuation marks, so it is wrong when applying them.

Abstract

Vertical downward motion is a phenomenon in physics that occurs when an object falls freely under the influence of gravity without any external force affecting it. In this article, we will look at how vertical downward motion can be observed through the use of skydiving toys. Parachuting toys are used as a safe simulation to observe vertical downward motion. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach explains in detail the subject of vertical downward movement through parachuting. The purpose of this article is to introduce an example of vertical downward motion for elementary school children. With this article in order to introduce and invite children to play and know that what is played is an example of vertical downward motion. These toys are often designed with designs and materials that allow the opening or slowing of the fall speed. This ensures that skydiving toys are safer for children to play with. Through observing skydiving toys, we can understand the basic concepts of vertical downward motion and its characteristics such as constant acceleration, terminal velocity, and the design and material factors that affect it. In conclusion, this article shows the importance of vertical downward motion in physics and how skydiving toys can be used to observe this phenomenon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya penerapan model Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan model Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode literature review atau studi kepustakaan dengan melakukan kajian dari berbagai artikel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kajian tentang model Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar dihubungkan dengan variabel-variabel yang berbeda. Topik Problem Based Learning paling banyak dikaitkan dengan hasil belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan memecahkan masalah, kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep materi, dan keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Serta paling sedikit dikaitkan dengan kemampuan literasi sains, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, analisis penerapan, dan implementasi Computational Thinking. Dari artikel-artikel tersebut menyatakan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning memberikan hasil/pengaruh yang baik serta positif dan baik bagi pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kerupuk ikan adalah salah satu makanan ringan yang sangat populer di Indonesia. Proses produksi kerupuk ikan biasanya melibatkan beberapa tahap yang membutuhkan energi panas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang pemanfaatan energi panas dalam meningkatkan proses produksi kerupuk ikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Energi panas dapat digunakan dalam beberapa tahap produksi kerupuk ikan, mulai dari tahap penggilingan hingga tahap pengeringan. Salah satu cara utama untuk memanfaatkan energi panas adalah dengan menggunakan mesin pengering atau oven. Mesin pengering ini akan menghasilkan panas yang cukup tinggi untuk mengeringkan kerupuk ikan secara cepat dan efisien. Selain itu, energi panas juga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam tahap penggilingan bahan baku kerupuk ikan. Proses penggilingan yang membutuhkan panas tinggi dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin penggiling yang dilengkapi dengan pemanas. Pemanfaatan energi panas dalam tahap ini akan membantu menghancurkan bahan baku kerupuk ikan menjadi ukuran yang lebih kecil dengan lebih efisien.

Abstract

Gerakan literasi sekolah merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah di SD Negeri 2 Margodadi. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah melalui pojok baca di SD Negeri 2 Margodadi telah berjalan maksimal, namun terdapat beberapa kendala dalam proses implementasinya. Beberapa kendala yang ditemukan seperti kurangnya koleksi buku anak di perpustakaan, kurangnya waktu khusus untuk kegiatan literasi di luar jam belajar, serta peran guru yang kurang maksimal dalam memfasilitasi dan terbatasnya waktu karena pembelajaran tatap muka. terbatas dan siswa kurang antusias membaca serta berkunjung ke perpustakaan masih kurang. Upaya mengatasi kendala dalam pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah antara lain menerapkan strategi membaca, pemberian penghargaan, pemberian motivasi dan pemberian fasilitas kepada siswa. Meski demikian, program ini secara bertahap berhasil meningkatkan minat membaca siswa. Rekomendasinya antara lain memperkaya anak koleksi buku, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat yang lebih aktif.
