Abstract

Komunikasi organisasi dan manajemen pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan di madrasah. Kedua aspek ini berfungsi sebagai sarana utama dalam membangun budaya kerja kolaboratif yang menekankan kebersamaan, keterbukaan, dan tanggung jawab bersama. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sinergi antara komunikasi organisasi dan manajemen pendidikan dalam mewujudkan budaya kerja kolaboratif di MIN 1 Labuhanbatu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan partisipan terdiri atas kepala madrasah, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi organisasi di MIN 1 Labuhanbatu berjalan efektif melalui jalur formal dan informal, baik secara vertikal maupun horizontal. Kepala madrasah berperan sentral dalam menciptakan iklim komunikasi yang terbuka dan partisipatif, berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam seperti musyawarah (syura), ukhuwah, dan ta’awun. Sinergi antara komunikasi organisasi dan manajemen pendidikan berkontribusi pada meningkatnya kolaborasi antarguru, memperkuat solidaritas kerja, serta meningkatkan efektivitas pelaksanaan program madrasah. Kesimpulannya, budaya kerja kolaboratif di MIN 1 Labuhanbatu terbentuk melalui komunikasi yang terarah dan manajemen pendidikan yang melibatkan seluruh unsur madrasah. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kemampuan komunikasi dan kepemimpinan kolaboratif dalam mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.   Organizational communication and educational management play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of educational implementation in madrasahs. These two aspects serve as essential instruments in building a collaborative work culture that emphasizes togetherness, openness, and shared responsibility. This study aims to describe the synergy between organizational communication and educational management in fostering a collaborative work culture at MIN 1 Labuhanbatu. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with participants consisting of the principal, teachers, and educational staff. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that organizational communication at MIN 1 Labuhanbatu functions effectively through both formal and informal channels, vertically and horizontally. The principal plays a central role in creating an open and participatory communication climate grounded in Islamic values such as musyawarah (consultation), ukhuwah (brotherhood), and ta’awun (mutual cooperation). The synergy between organizational communication and educational management contributes to stronger collaboration among teachers, enhanced work solidarity, and improved effectiveness in implementing madrasah programs. In conclusion, the collaborative work culture at MIN 1 Labuhanbatu is established through well-structured communication and participatory educational management. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening communication competence and collaborative leadership to support continuous improvement in educational quality.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan serta kepraktisan media pembelajaran berupa media komik interaktif pada materi Peran Wali Songo dalam Penyebaran Islam di Indonesia untuk siswa kelas X SMA Sinar Husni. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga validator ahli serta peserta didik kelas X. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan persentase untuk menilai kelayakan dan kepraktisan media. Hasil validasi para ahli menunjukkan bahwa aspek media memperoleh nilai 86%, aspek materi 90%, dan aspek bahasa 89% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, uji kepraktisan memperoleh skor 75% dengan kategori praktis. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa media komik interaktif efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena mampu meningkatkan minat belajar, memudahkan pemahaman konsep, serta menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan interaktif bagi peserta didik.   This study aims to develop, evaluate, and determine the feasibility and practicality of an interactive comic media as a learning medium for the topic of The Role of Wali Songo in the Spread of Islam in Indonesia for tenth-grade students at SMA Sinar Husni. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consisted of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects included three expert validators and tenth-grade students. Data analysis was carried out using percentage calculations to assess the feasibility and practicality of the media. The validation results from experts indicated that the media aspect obtained a score of 85%, the material aspect 90%, and the language aspect 89%, all categorized as very feasible. Furthermore, the practicality test showed a score of 76%, which falls into the practical category. These findings demonstrate that the interactive comic is effective as a learning medium, as it enhances student interest, improves conceptual understanding, and provides a morei enjoyable and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar berperan penting dalam membangun kemampuan literasi dasar yang menjadi fondasi keberhasilan akademik. Namun, berbagai studi menunjukkan bahwa capaian membaca pemahaman siswa masih rendah akibat pembelajaran yang bersifat prosedural, minimnya pemanfaatan teks autentik, serta keterbatasan kompetensi pedagogis guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka untuk menelaah teori, temuan empiris, dan praktik terkini terkait transformasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran sangat dipengaruhi oleh penguatan kosakata, penggunaan pendekatan berbasis teks, integrasi media literasi digital, serta dukungan afektif seperti minat dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Studi internasional juga menegaskan pentingnya intervensi terstruktur dan berkelanjutan yang didampingi guru. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transformasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia memerlukan pendekatan holistik yang meliputi peningkatan kompetensi guru, penyediaan bahan ajar kontekstual, dan penguatan ekosistem literasi sekolah-rumah agar pembelajaran bergerak dari rutinitas menuju praktik yang bermakna. Indonesian language instruction in primary schools plays a central role in developing foundational literacy skills essential for academic success. However, recent studies indicate that students’ reading comprehension remains low due to procedural instruction, limited use of authentic texts, and insufficient pedagogical competence among teachers. This study employs a literature review methodology to analyze theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and current practices related to transforming Indonesian language learning in primary education. The review shows that instructional effectiveness is shaped by vocabulary development, text-based pedagogy, integration of digital literacy tools, and affective support such as motivation and confidence. International evidence further highlights the importance of structured and sustained, teacher-guided literacy interventions. This study concludes that transforming Indonesian language learning requires a holistic approach that strengthens teacher competence, provides contextual learning materials, and builds a supportive school–home literacy ecosystem to shift instruction from routine tasks toward meaningful learning practices.

Abstract

Partisipasi politik perempuan merupakan prasyarat penting bagi terwujudnya demokrasi yang inklusif, namun di Desa Duwanur keterlibatan perempuan dalam pencalonan kepala desa masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat partisipasi perempuan dalam pencalonan kepala desa serta mengidentifikasi upaya yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data primer dari pemerintah desa, tokoh perempuan, dan tokoh masyarakat, serta data sekunder berupa peraturan perundang-undangan dan literatur terkait. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya partisipasi perempuan dipengaruhi oleh kuatnya budaya patriarki, keterbatasan pendidikan politik, rendahnya kepercayaan diri, serta minimnya dukungan pemerintah desa. Temuan utama menegaskan bahwa pendidikan politik yang berkelanjutan dan dukungan institusional dari pemerintah desa berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan kapasitas dan keberanian perempuan untuk terlibat dalam pencalonan kepala desa. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pemerintah desa dalam merancang kebijakan pemberdayaan perempuan guna mendorong demokrasi desa yang lebih partisipatif dan berkeadilan gender.   Women's political participation is an important prerequisite for the realization of inclusive democracy, but in Duwanur Village, women's involvement in village head elections is still low. This study aims to analyze the level of women's participation in village head elections and identify efforts that can increase this participation. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with primary data sources from the village government, women leaders, and community leaders, as well as secondary data in the form of laws and regulations and related literature. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that low female participation is influenced by strong patriarchal culture, limited political education, low self-confidence, and minimal support from the village government. The main findings confirm that continuous political education and institutional support from the village government play a significant role in increasing women's capacity and courage to participate in village head elections. This study provides practical implications for village governments in designing women's empowerment policies to promote a more participatory and gender-equitable village democracy.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan komponen esensial dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) karena tidak hanya menilai aspek kognitif, tetapi juga sikap dan keterampilan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru PAI dalam mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran pada ranah sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan di SMP Negeri 9 Medan, serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan solusi yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Pendidikan Agama Islam yang mengajar di SMP Negeri 9 Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI telah menggunakan berbagai instrumen evaluasi, seperti tes tertulis dan lisan untuk ranah kognitif, observasi dan jurnal sikap untuk ranah afektif, serta penilaian kinerja dan rubrik praktik ibadah untuk ranah psikomotorik. Namun demikian, implementasi evaluasi pembelajaran masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan merumuskan instrumen yang objektif untuk menilai sikap dan keterampilan, serta terbatasnya pelatihan teknis bagi guru. Upaya yang dilakukan guru meliputi kolaborasi melalui Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), pemanfaatan teknologi digital sederhana, serta pengembangan instrumen secara bertahap sesuai konteks pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi evaluasi guru PAI telah mengarah pada penilaian autentik dan komprehensif, meskipun masih memerlukan dukungan sistemik dari sekolah dan pemerintah.   Learning assessment is an essential component of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) because it assesses not only cognitive aspects, but also the attitudes and skills of students. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by IRE teachers in developing learning assessment instruments in the areas of attitude, knowledge, and skills at SMP Negeri 9 Medan, as well as to identify the obstacles and solutions applied. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were Islamic Religious Education teachers who taught at SMP Negeri 9 Medan. The results showed that PAI teachers had used various evaluation instruments, such as written and oral tests for the cognitive domain, observation and attitude journals for the affective domain, and performance assessments and worship practice rubrics for the psychomotor domain. However, the implementation of learning evaluation still faces obstacles in the form of time constraints, difficulties in formulating objective instruments to assess attitudes and skills, and limited technical training for teachers. Efforts made by teachers include collaboration through Subject Teacher Working Groups (MGMP), the use of simple digital technology, and the gradual development of instruments in accordance with the learning context. This study concludes that PAI teachers' evaluation strategies have led to authentic and comprehensive assessments, although there are still.

Abstract

The increasing use of cafés as learning spaces among university students reflects broader changes in how learning is organised beyond formal academic environments. While previous studies have explored informal learning spaces, empirical evidence from developing higher education contexts remains limited. Addressing this gap, the present study investigates why Indonesian university students choose cafés over libraries as learning spaces and examines the perceived learning affordances of both environments. Using a quantitative cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 355 undergraduate students across diverse academic disciplines and years of study. Descriptive statistics and cross-tabulation analyses with chi-square tests were employed to examine associations between learning space preferences, perceived productivity, collaboration, creativity, motivation, and spatial design. The findings reveal that cafés are strongly associated with collaborative learning, creative idea exchange, and higher learning motivation, whereas libraries remain central for focus-intensive and individual academic tasks. Rather than competing spaces, cafés and libraries function as complementary components within students’ broader learning ecology. Interpreted through Third Place Theory, Affordance Theory, and Learning Ecology, the results highlight a critical mismatch between students’ contemporary learning practices and the design of formal learning spaces. The study concludes by arguing for a rethinking of Indonesian formal learning spaces toward hybrid, multi-zone learning environments that integrate the functional and motivational affordances currently sought by students in informal settings.

Abstract

Tradisi Perang Topat, merupakan sebuah tradisi yang unik. Pada kegiatan Perang Topat ini melibatkan dua suku yang berbeda dan dua agama yang berbeda pula secara langsung. Kedua kelompok masyarakat ini terlibat aktif  pada kegiatan tradisi Perang Topat tersebut dengan berbaur satu sama lainnya, penuh kekeluargaan, rasa toleransi dan gotong royong. Metode penelitian menggunakan kajian literatur.  Sumber yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa buku-buku teks, artikel ilmiah, jurnal, literatur review yang sesuai dengan tema yang diteliti. Pendidikan multikulturalisme yang muncul pada upacara Perang Topat antara lain; toleransi, kebersamaan, gotong royong,  nilai religius, dan nilai musyawarah. Nilai sikap multikulturalisme dalam upacara Perang Topat harus dapat di pelihara dan dilestarikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.   The Topat War tradition, is a unique tradition. The Topat War activities involved two different tribes and two different religions directly. These two community groups are actively involved in the traditional activities of the Topat War by blending in with each other, full of kinship, tolerance and mutual cooperation. The research method uses a literature review. The sources used in this research are text books, scientific articles, journals, literature reviews that are in accordance with the theme under study. The attitude of multiculturalism that emerged at the Topat War ceremony included; tolerance, togetherness, mutual cooperation, religious values, and deliberation values. The value of multiculturalism in the Topat War ceremony must be maintained and preserved in everyday life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pembelajaran mufradat dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya di MTs. Babul ‘Ulum Pajak Rambe, Kecamatan Medan Labuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui teknik triangulasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran mufradat memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung penguasaan empat keterampilan berbahasa Arab, yaitu menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Guru menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang variatif dan menyenangkan, antara lain melalui penghafalan kosakata dengan metode bernyanyi serta kegiatan muhadatsah yang dilakukan di dalam dan di luar kelas. Strategi tersebut mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan pembelajaran mufradat masih menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti kondisi cuaca yang tidak mendukung pembelajaran luar kelas, kemampuan membaca tulisan Arab yang belum merata di kalangan siswa, serta kurangnya ketertiban kelas yang memengaruhi konsentrasi belajar This study aims to examine vocabulary (mufradat) learning strategies in Arabic language instruction and to identify the obstacles encountered in their implementation at MTs. Babul ‘Ulum Pajak Rambe, Medan Labuhan District. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through triangulation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that vocabulary learning plays a crucial role in supporting students’ mastery of the four Arabic language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Teachers implemented various engaging learning strategies, including memorizing vocabulary through songs and conducting daily conversation (muhadatsah) activities both inside and outside the classroom. These strategies were effective in enhancing students’ motivation and participation. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, such as unfavorable weather conditions affecting outdoor learning activities, students’ limited ability to read Arabic script fluently, and classroom discipline issues that hinder learning concentration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Fiqih Muamalah siswa melalui penerapan modul pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw di kelas XI MA Bait Qurany. Metode pembelajaran konvensional yang berpusat pada guru menyebabkan rendahnya partisipasi siswa dan terbatasnya pemahaman konsep Fiqih Muamalah yang kompleks. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berdasarkan model Kurt Lewin, yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi dalam satu siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah delapan siswa kelas XI. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre test dan post-test, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan setelah penerapan model Jigsaw. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, kolaboratif, dan bertanggung jawab melalui kegiatan kelompok ahli dan rumah, serta bimbingan sejawat dan pembelajaran berbasis kasus. Seluruh siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada post-test, melebihi kriteria keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw efektif meningkatkan aspek kognitif, sosial, dan aktivitas belajar dalam pembelajaran Fiqih Muamalah tingkat madrasah. This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in Muamalah Fiqh through the implementation of a Jigsaw-type cooperative learning module in class XI of MA Bait Qurany. Conventional, teacher-centered learning methods have led to low student participation and limited understanding of complex Muamalah Fiqh concepts. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on Kurt Lewin’s model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection in a single action cycle. The subjects were eight class XI students. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes after the application of the Jigsaw model. Students became more active, collaborative, and responsible through expert and home group activities, as well as peer tutoring and case-based learning. All students achieved learning mastery in the post-test, exceeding the predetermined success criteria. These findings indicate that the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning module is effective in improving cognitive, social, and learning activity aspects in Muamalah Fiqh learning at the madrasah level.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), media pembelajaran yang tepat sangat dibutuhkan karena karakteristik materi IPA bersifat konseptual dan abstrak. Namun, berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilakukan di SMP N 1 Cikedung Kabupaten Indramayu, diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran IPA masih didominasi oleh metode ceramah dengan menggunakan buku teks dan penjelasan langsung dari guru. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dan cepat merasa bosan selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Dampaknya terlihat pada hasil belajar siswa yang masih berada di bawah standar ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan sekolah. Penggunaan teknologi media ajar wordwal memberikan motivasi pada siswa sehingga meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui uji-t yang menghasilkan thitung> ttabel dimana thitung variabel hasil belajar adalah sebesar 20,970 sedangkan ttabel adalah sebesar 1,960 maka 20,970>1,960 sehingga dapat menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan wordwall terhadap hasil belajar. Hal ini diperkuat juga dengan data hasil observasi dan wawancara yang memperlihatkan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran meningkat dari sebelumnya.   In the teaching of Natural Sciences (IPA) at the junior high school level, appropriate instructional media are essential because the subject matter is conceptual and abstract. However, initial observations conducted at SMPN 1 Cikedung, Indramayu Regency, revealed that the science teaching process was still dominated by lecture methods, relying primarily on textbooks and direct explanations from the teacher. This approach resulted in low student activity and rapid onset of boredom during lessons. The impact was reflected in student learning outcomes that remained below the school’s minimum completeness criterion (KKM). The use of Wordwall as an instructional technology motivated students and consequently improved their learning outcomes. This effect is demonstrated by a t-test in which t_calculated > t_table: the t_calculated for the learning outcome variable was 20.970, while the t_table (critical value) was 1.960 (20.970> 1.960), allowing us to conclude that the use of Wordwall had a significant effect on learning outcomes. This conclusion is further corroborated by observation and interview data showing an increase in student motivation to participate in lessons compared with prior practice.
