Abstract

Monjulika Chakma's entrepreneurial foray with Bain Textile in 1965 within Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts marked more than just a business venture; it underscored the transformative capabilities of social entrepreneurship. Anchored on a vision to champion female weavers of the region, Chakma not only propelled the intricate art of traditional Chakma fabrics to prominence but also paved the way for socio-economic upliftment and cultural preservation. Despite humble beginnings and myriad challenges – from scarce weaving resources to the complexities of marketing in a geographically remote area – Chakma's resilience and adaptability catalyzed Bain Textile's ascent. This paper unravels Bain Textile's trajectory, highlighting its role in preserving Chakma heritage, engendering female empowerment, and fostering community development. Drawing upon Chakma's innovative strategies and collaborative ethos, the study underscores the imperative of tenacity, co-creation, and experimentation within the sphere of social entrepreneurship. Chakma's Bain Textile emerges not just as a business archetype but as a testament to entrepreneurship's potential as a conduit for societal change and cultural reverence

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of socialization of SAK EMKM, understanding of accounting and educational level  on the implementation of SAK EMKM. The focus of this study is on MSME owners in Kesugihan District, Cilacap Regency. A total of 70 data were collected using  survey method with purposive sampling technique. The tool used to analyze the variable relationships in this study is Partial Least Squares (PLS) with  SmartPLS implementation. Research results show that educational level does not affect the implementation of SAK EMKM. On the other hand, different understandings of financial reporting and the socialization of SAK EMKM affect the implementation of SAK EMKM

Abstract

Mathematical resilience is a person's ability to handle difficulties in solving problems related to mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' mathematical resilience in pure mathematics-based courses. This research is a quantitative qualitative research, with students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo who have and/or are taking pure mathematics-based courses in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year as the research subject. Mathematical resilience’s data was taken by using a questionnaire instrument. The results of the study show that classically the majority of students have moderate category of mathematical resilience. If viewed from each indicator, the results of the study show that in indicators 1, 2, 5 and 6 the majority of students have medium category resilience. While indicators 3, 4, 7 and 8, the majority of students are in the high category. In indicator 9, the number of students with high category mathematical resilience is the same as the number of students with moderate category of mathematical resilience

Abstract

The increasing significance of computers in our daily lives, coupled with the rise of ubiquitous computing, has necessitated effective human-computer interaction. Hand gesture recognition systems have emerged as a real-time video-based solution for detecting and interpreting hand gestures, offering intelligent and natural human-computer interaction (HCI) methods. This project focuses on leveraging human hands as input devices for computer operation. Developed using Python and the OpenCV library, the program utilizes a computer webcam to capture and analyze hand shapes and patterns. The program provides real-time feedback by displaying recognized hand gestures on the live video stream. The ultimate outcome of this project is an application that enhances user experiences in contactless systems. The project recognizes and detects human hand motions using the Python computer language through a process flow that includes background subtraction, hand ROI segmentation, contour detection, and finger recognition. Techniques for processing images are used, including hand gesture detection, pattern recognition, thresholding, and contour detection. The processing of incoming photos and the creation of related keystrokes are made possible by OpenCV, a rich set of image processing tools

Abstract

Creating new curricula, changing and improving old curricula, implementing curricula, and supervising basic education curricula is known as character-based curriculum development. Among these controls are curriculum monitoring and assessment and improvement curriculum based on feedback from various basic curriculum assessments and evaluations within and outside educational institutions.Curriculum development must be based on religious principles, Pancasila, culture and national education goals. Consisting of four pillars, these values are organized into eighteen principles: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, national spirit, love for the country, appreciation for achievement, friendship and communication, love of peace, love reading, environmental care, social care, and responsibility

Abstract

In both developed and developing countries, education is very important. Developed countries see education as a continuous effort to improve the quality of life of their people. Developing countries, on the other hand, need education to catch up with them in the international arena and be on par with developed countries. From this we know that the national curriculum is very important, it is even considered a measure of learning success. This is proven by the fact that the curriculum in Indonesia, Finland, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Laos, and so on. This research explores various literature related to curriculum from various countries. The national education curriculum was changed several times after independence. This happened in 1947, 1952, 1964, 1968, 1975, 1984, 1994, 2004, 2006, 2013, and 2020, 2022. In curriculum changes, we can find the best curriculum. The Indonesian education curriculum must emphasize the development of Indonesian human character who has faith and devotion to God Almighty. The curriculum is different in Indonesia and several other countries, but these differences are made to improve education in these countries

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the regional financial independence and effectiveness of North Buton Regency. This research was quantitative. The technique of data collection in this research used secondary data by collecting a summary report on changes to the North Buton Regency Government's Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). The data analysis technique used a descriptive approach. The research results showed that the North Buton Regency Government was aware that it was still dependent on receiving transfer funds from the central government such as the General Allocation Fund and Special Allocation Fund so that it was hoped that it could maximize the potential for local revenue from the regional tax and levy sector to finance regional expenditure, especially capital expenditure, as evidenced by effectiveness analysis results based on APBD data from 2016 to 2020

Abstract

One important component of the education system is the curriculum. The curriculum holds a key position in education, because it is related to the direction, content and process of education which eventually establishes the nature and credentials of an educational program's alumni institution. In this study the authors used library research methods. Curriculum development uses principles that have developed in everyday life or creates new principles. Therefore, in the implementation of the It is possible to utilize principles in curriculum in educational institutions that differ from those used in other educational institutions. so there will be many principles used in curriculum development
