Abstract

Jatiluhur Reservoir is one of the largest reservoirs in West Java which has many functions, one of which is for aquaculture with the KJA system. But along with the development of KJA activity in the Jatiluhur Reservoir it has become one of the factors causing the decline in water quality of the Jatiluhur Reservoir. Therefore the Purwakarta Regency government made a program called Operation Jatiluhur Jernih Lake through the Decree of the Regent of Purwakarta No.523.31.05 / Kep.286-DLH / 2017. This program had a purpose to curb a number of cageculture in Jatiluhur Dam. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the program as an effort to save the condition of reservoir water and to analyze the impact of the program to the sosio-economic condition of the farmer. The methode that used in this study was quantitavie methode based on the effectivity value from the quisioner and the qualitative method by analyzing data from interview. the results of this study indicate that the Jatiluhur Lake Operations program is running quite effectively with the acquisition of a score of 60.37%, which means this program has a pretty good value in efforts to save the water conditions of the Jatiluhur reservoir. But on the other hand this program has a significant impact, especially on the socio-economic conditions of farmers such as decreasing income levels, rising potential for unemployment, increasing levels of difficulty in fulfilling the needs of life, and also reducing the supply of fish in the Jatiluhur Reservoir

Abstract

In line with industrial development and scientific and technological advancement, the use of metals cannot be separated from human life. Aside from benefits, the rapidly increasing industrial developments also give negative impact from their heavy metal waste. Some electroplating waste treatment methods are studied in this research, specifically electrodeposition method, electrocoagulation, and pH 9 hydroxide coagulation method. This research aimed to determine the most effective method and conditions from the 3 methods mentioned above in reducing contents of nickel in the wastewater. The artificial wastewater was made to have the same concentration to waste from electroplating industry; specifically 2154.20 mg/L. The most effective reduction of nickel for this method occurs at 6 volts with final concentration of 404.86 mg/L. The treatment result from electrodeposition was then further processed through two different processes, a electrocoagulation method and pH 9 hydroxide coagulation method. Electrocoagulation process was done for 1 hour with variation in voltage at 5; 7, 5; and 10 volts. Metal Al was used at the anode, while metal Cu was at the cathode. The optimum voltage for this process occurs at 10 volts with final concentration of nickel at 164,98 mg/L, nickel elimination efficiency was at 59.25 %, specific energy at 1.0777 kWh/kg and current efficiency at 32.3 %. Sample from electrodeposition which was processed further with pH 9 coagulation process produced final nickel concentration at 25.59 mg/L, nickel elimination efficiency was at 93.68 %. Abstract

Dry Processing was generally consist of two model mathematics, emphirical and mechanistic model. CDRC (Characteristic Drying Rate Curve) and REA (Reaction Engineering Approach) are one of mechanistic model to find physic condition in all term, which is emphirical model hasn’t. The results obtained by simulation are shown with the temperature profile and the moisture content of mango tissues that has previously been validated according to the literature. Mean square error and explained variation value showed similarity value between moisture content and temperature. Experiment data for REA using drying temperature at 338K and Y at 0,0134kg H2O/kg dry air. CDRC is divided by two approaching model, Constant Rate Period (CRP) and Falling Rate Period (FRP) at temperature 338K. To find the relative activation energy as amount of losing moisture content, temperature used at 328K. The result showed are CDRC and REA model relatively similar, which is CDRC closer to experiment data. For drying curve, moisture content of mango tissues is descending exponentially at the time of drying. But for temperature curve against time of drying, temperature of mango tissues is ascending exponentially.

Abstract

Inventory Control is part of production planning that needs to be considered in more detail. In the case of raw material inventory, if there is a delay or a vacancy in the stock, then the worst risk is termination of the production process. In order to avoid these conditions, an inventory model is made that includes backorder elements, with the hope that there will be no shortage of raw materials, even if it does, then there will be a substantial penalty. In the case of PT ABC, it resulted in inventory costs is Rp 1.739.774.271,00and this reiterates that the inventory needs to be managed well because of the large value that must be managed

Abstract

Chitosan extracted from shrimp waste has been used as material for making edible film. Chitosan edible film can be applied as a medium for drug delivery system. For example, the sample of antibiotic drug used was salicylic acid. To control the characteristics of edible film and drug release, crosslinking need to be added in the making of edible film of chitosan with STPP as crosslinker. This study aims the effect of crosslinker STPP to the physical properties from chitosan edible film (CEF). The experiment methods consisted of three main processes : (1) preparing of CEF with variations of STPP (0; 0.05; 0.1; 0.2% m STPP / V solution), (2). Analizing physical properties of CEF are tensile strength, percent elongation of break, and swelling. Physical properties of CEF were measured for tensile strength, percent elongation of break, and percent of swelling. The results that the addition of STPP affect the physical characteristics of the CEF. As the addition of STTP was increased, the tensile strength increased , percentage of elongation decreased, and swelling decreased.

Abstract

The increasing number of buying and selling transactions through e-marketplaces today causes the need for a model that is able to measure the extent of acceptance of e-marketplace applications. The existence of a model of measuring e-marketplace acceptance will greatly help business people in that field in order to improve the performance of the service products it offers, which in this study is Lazada. This research was conducted to find out how far the user acceptance of Lazada e-marketplace applications using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The approach on this research is using quantitative approach with a survey method. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires that were randomly distributed to Lazada e-marketplace users. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis using multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. The results showed that content richness, security and perceived ease of use variables had a significant effect on the perceived of usefulness variable, security variables had a significant effect on perceived usefulness variables, perceived usefulness variables, perceived ease of use and security had a significant effect on the variables customers intention to use.
