Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of meditation in Buddhist-based schools in Banten during face-to-face and distance learning. The Buddhist-based schools in Banten consist of: Dharma Putra School, Ariya Metta School, Jaya Manggala School, Bodhisatta School, Atisa Dipamkara School, Punna Karya School, Buddhist College School, Dharma Widya School, and Ehipassiko School. This research focuses on implementation, timing, types and constraints that arise. This study uses a comparative descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews and document studies, then the data is analyzed using the Miles, Huberman Saldana technique. The results showed that 8 out of 9 Buddhist-based schools in Banten continued to apply meditation as a PPK program during distance learning. There is a decrease in the number of meditation practices in 1 week during distance learning by 77.37%. 7 out of 9 Buddhist-based schools in Banten changed the type of meditation applied to distance learning. Obstacles that often arise in the implementation of online meditation are signals, internet data quotas, devices and environmental noise disturbances.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the form of moral force development for activists of the Student Executive Board of STABN Sriwijaya Tangerang Banten. This research was conducted in Tangerang involving the subject of BEM STABN Sriwijaya Tangerang Banten activists. The selection of subjects was carried out using the snowball throwing method. The research data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation study methods. The research data were analyzed by referring to the Miles Huberman data analysis model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results showed that activists of BEM STABN Sriwijaya have a good moral force because they have been able to be responsible for their duties and obligations, disciplined, and become role models for other students. The obstacles faced in developing the moral force of BEM STABN Sriwijaya activists include (1) still not having the courage to try new things, (2) the existence of unfavorable influences from associations and social media, and (3) time constraints because they have to divide lectures and organizations well. The development of moral force has a positive impact on the academic ability, social life, and career life of BEM STABN Sriwijaya activists.

Abstract

The problem raised in this study is that the internalization of nationalism in Buddhist Religious Education Subjects is unknown. The purpose of this study is to describe the internalization of nationalism insights in Buddhist Religious Education Subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological method. The informants in this study were principals, educators, and 9th grade students of SMPS Perguruan Buddhi Tangerang in the 2022/2023 school year. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the data analysis technique model of M.B. Miles, A.M. Huberman, and Johny Saldaña (1994). The results in this study show that the internalization of nationalistic insight is defined as a process of stages or series in the introduction, planting, coaching, and strengthening in a sustainable and in-depth information, messages, and noble values concerning nationalism. Teaching materials on nationalistic insight in Buddhist Religious Education subjects are sourced from the Dhammapada book, Paritta book, and Buddhist Religious Education book class IX. The cultivation of knowledge about national insight that has been carried out by educators is by showing politeness, giving greetings to each other at holiday celebrations, greetings of anjali attitude and Namo Buddhaya. Efforts to internalize national insight in Buddhist Education subjects carried out by educators are by introducing, instilling, guiding and strengthening the noble values of Dhamma that are in line with national insight. The practice or example done by educators and students in internalizing national insight is by practicing the rules of school discipline, ethics, and norms in the practice of national insight both in the classroom, cetiya, and outside the classroomThe problem raised in this study is that the internalization of nationalism in Buddhist Religious Education Subjects is unknown. Abstract

The background of this research is that the Wilwatikta kingdom (better known as Majapahit) reached its peak of glory during the leadership of Sri Rajasanagara (or better known as Prabu Hayam Wuruk) accompanied by Mahapatih Gajah Mada. The purpose of this study is to identify and recognize the leadership character of Prabu Hayam Wuruk which is written in the Nagarakretagama book.The method used in this research is library research. The approach method in this research uses the method of text analysis and text interrogation or often called hermeneutics which contains elements of expressing, explaining and translating. The object in this study as well as the primary data source is the Nagarakretagama book. Secondary and tertiary sources are obtained from studies of the Thematic Sutta Pitaka, books, journals, and writings that are relevant to the research theme. Data collection techniques in this study are collecting literature, classifying books, documents and other data, citing data, crosschecking, and grouping data. Techniques for validating data by extending time, persistence of observation and depth of reading, triangulation by utilizing sources outside the data. The data analysis technique is described by content analysis. The research was conducted at the Sriwijaya STABN library, the National Library and the Yogyakarta Regional Library (Grhatama Pustaka). The time of the research was carried out from July to December 2021.The results of the research and discussion in this study can be concluded: 1) Prabu Hayam Wuruk leadership characteristics: tolerance, integrity, democracy, wisdom, generosity, morality, and responsibility; 2) the leadership character of Prabu Hayam Wuruk based on Kurt Lewin's theory is included in the category of democratic (Democratic Leadership Style), namely a leader who involves followers in decision making; 3) The leadership character of Prabu Hayam Wuruk based on the level of Javanese leadership style in Endraswara is included in the Main (Main) level category where the virtues of Javanese leaders will always be liked by the people.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor manajemen organisasi di Dhammasekha Karuna School Lemo Tangerang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor manajemen organisasi Dhammasekha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah satu pengurus dhammasekha karuna school dan satu Kepala Sekolah tiga guru dhammasekkha. Objek penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor manajemen organisasi dhammasekha, dan hambatan yang dialami oleh kepala sekolah dan guru  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama duabelas bulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dengan model Miles Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi, display, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian yakni: Bentuk dukungan guru dari faktor-faktor manajemen organisasi dhammasekha. Citra guru berbentuk manajemen berpengaruh pada siswa  dhammasekha. Kendala guru pada faktor-faktor manajemen organisasi dhammasekha. Respon guru pada faktor manajemen organisasi dhammasekha.The problems raised in this research are organizational management factors at the Dhammasekha Karuna Lemo School Tangerang. The purpose of this study is the organizational management factors of Dhammasekha. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were one administrator of dhammasekkha karuna school and one principal of three dhammasekkha teachers. The object of this research is the organizational management factors of dhammasekha, and the obstacles experienced by principals and teachers. This research was carried out for twelve months. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data with the Miles Huberman model, namely data collection, reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The research findings are: The form of teacher support from the dhammasekha organizational management factors. The image of the teacher in the form of management has an effect on dhammasekha students. Teacher constraints on organizational management factors of dhammasekha. Teacher's response to the organizational management factor of dhammasekha.
