<![CDATA[Concepts understanding of mathematical is one of learning mathematics purposes that have be possessed by students. Based on the results of tests conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh, it was found that concepts understanding of mathematical by students' was still low. The research purpose is to find out, analyze and describe the understanding of mathematical concepts of students who study with the TAI type by model of cooperative learning and compare with students who study to use the TAI type by model of cooperative learning is better than the concepts understanding of the mathematical by students in conventional classes. This research type is a quasi-experimental research design with Static Group Design. The research population in this research was class XI MIPA 1 – XI MIPA 8 of SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. It can be concluded that the TAI type by model of cooperative learning has an influence on concepts understanding of the mathematical by students. <![CDATA[Understanding of concepts is a very important ability in learning mathematics, but the reality in the field is that students' understanding of mathematical concepts in class VII UPT SMP Negeri 2 Padang Ganting is still low. One of the efforts made to increase understanding of concepts is to apply the Auditory Intellectually Repetition model which aims to describe whether students' understanding of mathematical concepts in class IX UPT SMP Negeri 2 Padang Ganting in the 2022/2023 academic year has increased. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one group pre-test post-test design. The research population was all students of class IX at SMP Negeri 2 Padang Ganting. In this study only used the experimental class without any control class and the sampling used saturated sampling technique. The instrument used is a test of understanding mathematical concepts in the form of descriptions. The hypothesis test used is the paired t test. Based on the analysis results obtained P-value = 0.000 with a significant level of α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model in learning increased in class IX UPT SMP Negeri 2 Padang Ganting. <![CDATA[One of the learning objectives that must be mastered in learning mathematics is understanding the concept. The reality on the ground found that the understanding of mathematical concepts in class XI MIPA SMA N 3 Pariaman was still low. One effort that could overcome this problem was to apply a cooperative learing model of the think talk write type in the mathemathics learning process. The purpose of study was to determine the development of students’ understanding of mathematics while studying with the cooperative learning model of the think talk write. The type of research in quasi-experimental with Non-equivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. <![CDATA[The effect of Self-Efficacy and Learning Independence of SMP Negeri 25 Padang Students on Mathematics Problem Solving Ability. This study sains to determine the effects of self-efficacy and learning independence of students at SMP Negeri 25 Padang on Mathematical Problem Solving Ability. The research method used is a survey method with quantitative research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 25 Padang in class IX in the academic year 2022/2023. Samples were taken using a simple random sampling technique of 120 students. The instruments used are. questionnaires and tests. The data were analyzed first by data analysis test, namely normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. After the data analysis test was met, then the research hypothesis was tested using simple regression analysis techniques. From the results of the study it was found that: (1) there was a significant influence between self-efficacy on mathematical problem-solving abilities; (2) there is a significant influence between. learning independence on mathematical problem solving abilities; (3) there is a significant influence between self-efficacy on learning independence. <![CDATA[This study was conducted to acquire the ability of mathematical problem solving of student in mathematics, the part of learning mathematics, conducted at SMPN 1 Batusangkar. The result of the first test of math problem-solving skills was that the student did not solve the problem well. One solution to overcome this is the application of problem-based learning models. The research results shown that mathematical problem-solving skills who learn to use problem-based learning outperform those who learn to use direct learning. Initial tests of mathematics problem-solving ability shown that the students did not solve the problem well. One attempt to overcome this is the use model of problem-based learning. The research result shown that those who learn to use problem-based learning have better problem-solving skills in mathematics than those who learn to use direct learning. <![CDATA[The part the most important purpose of mathematics learning was understood the concepts of mathematical. However, based on the tests results conducted in class VIII SMPN 4 Bukittinggi, it showed that concepts understanding of students' in mathematical was still relatively low. One of the strategies implemented by educators to increase concepts understanding of students' in mathematical is the model by learning in cooperative of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending type. This research purpose to find out and describe the concepts understanding of students' in mathematical who study with the type by model of learning in cooperative of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending type is more goog than students who learn with the learning in direct model in class VIII SMPN 4 Bukittinggi. The research type used was a Quasi Experiment with a non-equivalent posttest-only control group design. The research population population were class VIII SMPN 4 Bukittinggi with samples from class VIII C and VIII E. The instrument research used was a concepts understanding of students test in consist of questions in essay which were analyzed by testing the hypothesis used the test by Mann Whitney. Thus we got conclusion that the concepts understanding of students' in mathematical who studied with the learning in cooperative model of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending type was more good than students who studied with the learning in direct model in class VIII SMPN 4 Bukittinggi. <![CDATA[Mathematical problem solving is one of the mathematical abilities that must be mastered by students as stated in Permendikbud No. 58 of 2014. However, in reality the mathematical problem solving abilities of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi are still not optimal. One reason is students who tend to be passive in learning. This resulted in student learning outcomes are also low. Therefore, a study was conducted by applying the discovery learning model to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to find out and describe whether the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who learn using the discovery learning model are better than students who learn using conventional learning models in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a research design that is static group design. The population of this study were students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi with the research sample being class XI IPS 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, where each member of the population has the same opportunity to be sampled. The research instrument used is the final test of solving mathematical problems.Based on data analysis using U Mann Whitney with a significance level of 0.05, a is obtained, which is smaller than α = 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected. Then, after analyzing the results of the final problem solving test, the average value of the experimental class was higher than the average value of the control class. Thus it can be concluded that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who learn using the discovery learning model are better than students who learn using conventional learning in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.Keywords–Learning Model, Discovery Learning, Problem Solving]]>

<![CDATA[Understanding the concept is one of the goals in mathematics lessons. However, in reality the ability of class XI MIPA MAN 2 Payakumbuh students is still low. This is as a result of the teacher-centered nature of the educational process. The learning process has not actively involved students. The application of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) is one way to overcome this problem. The purpose of this research was to analyze and describe students' understanding of mathematical concepts during the application of the STAD learning model and the conventional model. This research used the Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Group Design and the quasi-experimental method. The findings of this study indicate that the use of the STAD model further enhances this ability compared to using conventional learning models. <![CDATA[Problem solving ability was one of learning mathematics goals goals that have to achieved by students. However, in the real skills of mathematical problem solving by students in schools are still lack. One solution to finish these problems was to use the model of Problem Based Learning. The ultimate goal of this research was to find out whether the skill of mathematical problem solving of students who studied with the Problem Based Learning model were more good than students who studied with the model learning in Direct for class VIII MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan. The research type used was nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. The research population were students of class VIII at MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan. Sampling was carried out using non-random sampling (non-random sample) with purposive sampling technique by assigning class VIII 1 as the group for experimental and VIII 2 as the group for control. Based on the analysis of Problem Solving Ability test data, P-value = 0.00 is obtained with a level in significant (α = 0.05), because the P-value , then is rejected. The conclusion obtained is that students who learn with the model of Problem Based Learning was more good than those who learn with the model of learning in direct for class VIII MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan.Keywords - Problem Based Learning, Mathematical Problem Solving Ability]]>

<![CDATA[Communication skills has an important position in mathematics learning, because of the skill in explaining ideas verbally or in writing. If students are good at this skill, they will be able to understand the problem correctly. However, in practice, this ability is still relatively low among students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Padang. One solution to support the growth of these skills is to use the Think Talk Write (TTW) collaborative learning model. The aim of the research was to see whether this skill increases when implemented TTW in clas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padang. Type of research is a quasi-experimental study without an appropriate post hoc pure control group. Use of mathematical communicative competence test equipment and descriptive quizzes. Data analysis shows that classroom learning using the TTW model outperforms in-person learning. and experienced a significant increase.
