Abstract

Good governance concept is an emerging issue in the management of publik admnistration today that emerged in the early 1990s. The system of state governace is important element in a country. In the implementation of regional autonomy, to e able to carry out its functions properly, local gomerments are required to realize goog governance in their respective regions. Good governance relates to how the local goverment both district and ciity as poliisy implementers, both national and local policies. When good governace delas with how local governments implement local level policies it also relates to how local government performance works policies to be implemented by local government.

Abstract

The research objective of the researcher is to find out the Organizational Culture and Service Quality of the Development Program, to find out the relationship between Organizational Culture and the Quality of Development Program Services and to find out the magnitude of the influence of Organizational Culture on Service Quality in in BAPPPPEDA Sumedang Regency.The method used in this study is a quantitative research method which is used in research based on the philosophy of positivism in order to test the hypotheses that have been set. And the type of statistics used is inferential sampling technique used in this study is the Simple Random Sampling technique, with a population of 80 people then researchers used the Slovin formula to obtain a sample of 44 respondents. The analysis used includes the calculation of percentages, correlation tests, normality tests, significance tests, and coefficient of determination tests.Based on the results of the study, researchers can describe that the organizational culture in BAPPPPEDA Sumedang Regency is in very good criteria with the results of the analysis reaching 84.54%. Likewise, the quality of development program services in BAPPPPEDA in Sumedang Regency is in very good criteria with an analysis reaching 86.33%. From the correlation analysis, the correlation value is 0.419, which indicates a positive and significant relationship between Organizational Culture and Service Program Development Quality. While the influence of organizational culture on the quality of development program services in BAPPPPEDA in Sumedang Regency reached 17.6%, the remaining 82.4% was influenced by other factors not examined by researchers called epsilon factor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problem of the role of the health office, obstacles, and efforts to overcome obstacles in the prevention of HIV / AIDS in Sumedang Regency.The research method used is descriptive research using a qualitative analysis study approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. With research informants namely the Secretary, the Head of Disease Prevention and Control, the Head of the Prevention and Control Section of Communicable Diseases, the Chairman of the Aids Prevention Commission in Sumedang Regency, and the Chairman of Citizens Care for Aids in Sumedang Regency. Data collection techniques using data analysis model Miles and Huberman with the steps: Data reduction, data presentation, Concultion Drawing / Verification, and Triangulation.Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the health office had played a role in the prevention and control of HIV / AIDS, but it was still lacking in optimizing the role and support of the community, especially key populations who according to informants were not willing to carry out the proper examination or treatment. There are some suggestions from the author that can be used as references and recommendations to support the smooth role of the health office in HIV / AIDS prevention, namely by carrying out joint records with each of the cross-sectors regarding the development of activities and obstacles in the effort to combat HIV, so that later evaluations can be carried out related to tasks. and responsibilities of each across sectors. Then disseminate information using more creative media, one of which is using film media or leaflets.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine work stress, to determine employee productivity, to know the relationship between work stress and employee productivity and to determine the effect of work stress on employee productivity in the Department of Environment and Forestry, Sumedang Regency. Stress is an inability regarding the threats faced by a human being mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually which at one time can affect the physical health of the human being. Stress is our perception of a situation or condition in our own environment. Another definition states that stress is a condition of tension that affects one's emotions, thinking processes, and conditions. Meanwhile, productivity is a measure of the use of resources in an organization which is usually expressed as a ratio of the output achieved with the resources used (input). The method used in this research is quantitative research methods that examine specific populations, data collection using instruments, statistical analysis, with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. Meanwhile, data collection was carried out by means of library research and field studies in the form of observation and questionnaires to 63 respondents in the Environment and Forestry Service of Sumedang Regency.The results of this study, obtained a description of job stress including good criteria with a percentage of 81.47%, employee productivity including good criteria with a percentage of 82.63%. Then the job stress variable (X) affects the employee productivity variable (Y) by 24.9%. While the rest (100% - 24.9% = 75.1%) is influenced by outside variables that are not studied.There are several suggestions, one of which is that the Sumedang District Environment and Forestry Service has a meeting forum as a means to discuss or evaluate employee work results so that employee productivity at the Environment and Forestry Service in Sumedang Regency is better.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Disaster Emergency Management Operations on Work Effectiveness in the Head of Emergency and Logistics Section at the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Sumedang Regency. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method with two data collection methods, namely literature study and field study which includes observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out to all ASN (State Civil Apparatus) and Non-ASN (Pusdalops) employees in the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Sumedang Regency, totaling 40 people. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the Operational Planning for Disaster Emergency Management at the Section Head for Emergency and Logistics at the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Sumedang Regency is 88.4%. Furthermore, the work effectiveness of the Head of Emergency and Logistics Section in the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Sumedang Regency is 90.5%. Based on the correlation test, it is known that there is a very strong relationship between the Operational Planning for Disaster Emergency Management with the Work Effectiveness of the Head of Emergency and Logistics Section in the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Sumedang Regency with a correlation coefficient of 0.808. The Effect of Disaster Emergency Management Operations Planning on Work Effectiveness in the Section Head for Emergency and Logistics in the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Sumedang Regency based on the determination test is in the strong category with a determination coefficient of 0.653 or if a percentage is 65.3%. While the remaining 34.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Office Layout and Organizational Effectiveness, to determine the relationship between Office Layout and Organizational Effectiveness and to determine the magnitude of the influence of Office Layout on Organizational Effectiveness at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, Sumedang Regency. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach and the type of statistics used is descriptive statistics saturated sampling technique. As for the population in this study were 69 employees of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Sumedang Regency. The analysis used includes the calculation of the percentage, normality test, correlation test, significance test and determination coefficient test. Based on the research results it is known that the Office Layout at the Ministry of Religion Office of Sumedang Regency is 71.99%. Furthermore, the results of research on Organizational Effectiveness at the Ministry of Religion Office of Sumedang Regency amounted to 76.77%. The relationship between Office Spatial Planning and Organizational Effectiveness at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Sumedang Regency is at a strong correlation level with a correlation coefficient of 0.764. Based on the significance test it is stated that there is a positive and significant relationship between Office Layout and Organizational Effectiveness at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, Sumedang Regency. As well as the influence of Office Layout on Organizational Effectiveness reaching 58.4% in the medium category. The remaining 41.6% is influenced by other factors not taken into account in the study. Based on the results of this study, the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Sumedang Regency should pay more attention to the design or arrangement of office space, because with good office space arrangement it will provide work comfort and satisfaction for employees in order to increase organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of work facilities on employee productivity at CentralBureau of Statistics of Sumedang District. The method used in this study is a quantitativeresearch method which is used to answer a predetermined hypothesis. In this study,researchers used inferential descriptive data analysis technique that describe collected dataand make conclusions that are applicable generally. The sampling technique used in thisstudy is saturation sampling technique which involves the entire population to berespondents. Based on the results of the study, researchers obtained information that theavailability of work facilities in Central Bureau of Statistics of Sumedang District reached82% and the score was categorized very good, as good as the work productivity of employeein Central Bureau of Statistics of Sumedang District reached 90% with a very good category.The correlation of work facilities with employee productivity at Central Bureau of Statisticsof Sumedang District with a correlation coefficient reached 0.591 is in medium category. Theeffects of work facilities on employee productivity at Central Bureau of Statistics ofSumedang District is 35% while 65% is influenced by other factors not researched in thisstudy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problem of efforts to increase male participation in a motivational perspective, efforts to increase male participation in a coordination perspective, efforts to increase male participation in a communication perspective and efforts to increase male participation in a supervisory perspective in Sumedang Regency. The method used in the preparation of this administrative research practice report is a qualitative research method (Naturalistic Setting) with descriptive type. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. With research informants: Head of the Family Planning Division, Head of the Family Planning Service Guarantee Section, and implementing staff of the Family Planning Service Guarantee. Data collection techniques through secondary data collection techniques such as library studies and documentation. In analyzing the data used the Miles and Huberman model with steps: Reduction of data, Presentation of data, Conclution Drawing / Verification, and Triangulation. Based on the results of the study concluded that the effort to increase male participation in the perspective of motivation is quite good but not optimal. This can be seen from the lack of supporting facilities to implement MOP because Sumedang Regency has not been able to implement its own MOP program and the unavailability of operating tools for implementing the MOP. Efforts to increase men's participation in the perspective of good coordination. This can be seen from the existence of internal coordination and external coordination. Efforts to increase male participation in communication perspective can be quite good but not yet optimal, this is known from the ineffectiveness of the media in presenting information such as trends in radio media that only some people listen to. Efforts to increase male participation in the perspective of supervision can be quite good. This can be known from direct and indirect supervision.

Abstract

This research aims to see implementations of street vendor relocation policy, constraining factorimplementations of street vendor relocation policy, and efforts made to addreses implementation of streetvendor relocation policy in Dinas Koperasi, UKM, Perdagangan dan Perindustrian Sumedang District.This research methode uses qualitative descriptive (Naturalistic Setting). The sampling was troughliterature and observation (interview and documentation). The sampling in this research using purposivesampling which mean consist of 3 people. While data processing procedures using data analytical modelMiles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The result of thisresearch conclude that implementations of street vendor relocation policy Dinas Koperasi, UKM,Perdagangan dan Perindustrian Sumedang District has been going well but not maximally. It’sindicated by phenomena of (1) there’s too much illegal street vendor (2) too much street vendor insidewalk (3) low awareness against government regulations (4) lack of obdience to government policies.The suggestions for this research is do more socialization with street vendor, cooperate with tenantrelation, giving specification tasks, and carry out stricted supervision which mean the goals of policy canbe achived.
