Abstract

Traditional market management requires a precise and measurable system given the important role of the market in supporting the local economy on the one hand, and the complexity of the problems to be faced on the other. Efforts are needed to ensure a targeted traditional market management system, among which is oriented towards the identification and stewardship of appropriate strategic issues. This qualitative research is carried out to apply a multi-perspective approach that is considered accommodative to the variety of variables, in mapping the strategic value of various problems that arise in the management of traditional markets. The research was conducted in the traditional markets of Bantarujeg, West Java and produced strategic mapping of problem groups related to administrative, financial, organizational and traditional market development.

Abstract

This paper aims at obtaining the objective data and information regarding to employee development, the obstacles in employee development and efforts to overcome obstacles to employee development at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Sumedang Regency. The method used was descriptive qualitative with four research informants, namely the Office Secretary, the Head of General Affairs, Asset and Personnel, the Head of the Finance Subdivision and the Head of the Training Institutional Development Division. Data collection techniques through secondary data collection was such as literature study, primary data collection techniques were such as observation, interviews and documentation that were then analyzed by steps in the form of data reduction, data presentation, verification and triangulation. The results obtained indicated that the development of employees at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Sumedang Regency was still not perfect and not in accordance with the objectives of the development itself. The changes in employee needs due to limited human resources, changes in organizational needs and changes in the organizational environment required the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Sumedang Regency to make efforts by optimizing development costs, minimizing changes in employee needs, minimizing changes in organizational needs and minimizing changes in environmental needs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Office Layout and Organizational Effectiveness, to determine the relationship between Office Layout and Organizational Effectiveness and to determine the magnitude of the influence of Office Layout on Organizational Effectiveness at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, Sumedang Regency. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach and the type of statistics used is descriptive statistics saturated sampling technique. As for the population in this study were 69 employees of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Sumedang Regency. The analysis used includes the calculation of the percentage, normality test, correlation test, significance test and determination coefficient test. Based on the research results it is known that the Office Layout at the Ministry of Religion Office of Sumedang Regency is 71.99%. Furthermore, the results of research on Organizational Effectiveness at the Ministry of Religion Office of Sumedang Regency amounted to 76.77%. The relationship between Office Spatial Planning and Organizational Effectiveness at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Sumedang Regency is at a strong correlation level with a correlation coefficient of 0.764. Based on the significance test it is stated that there is a positive and significant relationship between Office Layout and Organizational Effectiveness at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, Sumedang Regency. As well as the influence of Office Layout on Organizational Effectiveness reaching 58.4% in the medium category. The remaining 41.6% is influenced by other factors not taken into account in the study. Based on the results of this study, the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Sumedang Regency should pay more attention to the design or arrangement of office space, because with good office space arrangement it will provide work comfort and satisfaction for employees in order to increase organizational effectiveness.
