Topics might be about Islamic educational management studies in madrasah (Islamic schools), pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), and Islamic educational management in university. This journal is intended to communicate the original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes any contributions from scholars of the related disciplines.

Abstract

The implementation of guidance and counseling in educational institutions requires well-systemized management of guidance and counseling by the parties providing guidance and counseling in schools. This research aims to determine the implementation of guidance group management, its implementation, and the need for the availability of guidance group management. This research used a qualitative approach and was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Cikalong. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation, while data analysis uses data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that efforts to implement implementation at SMA Negeri 1 Cikalong emphasize active student participation in the group counseling guidance process. The program for implementing group counseling guidance at SMA Negeri 1 Cikalong has a mature framework to ensure success and relevance in providing group counseling guidance services. One of the important elements in this program is the implementation of assessments and the use of questionnaires as evaluation instruments. By involving students directly, this program creates an environment that supports the exchange of experiences and ideas between peers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of the group guidance and counseling program implemented at SMPN 1 Cijulang. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in research are observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of the research show that the group guidance management carried out at the planning stage was quite effective so that group guidance services could be implemented appropriately. Through activities that are spiritually enhancing, such as congregational Duha prayers and Al-Qur'an study, it turns out to be effective in supporting student learning. This is because most students who have entered secondary school very rarely participate in Koran recitation activities. The teachers also said that students who began diligently participating in recitations and duha prayers regularly at school had a significant impact on the learning process.

Abstract

Jurnal ini mengulas tentang manajemen bimbingan kelompok di SMKN 1 Cijulang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan dampak pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program, memahami tantangan yang dihadapi, serta mengeksplorasi peran serta manfaat yang dirasakan oleh siswa dan pihak terkait. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang implementasi program bimbingan dan konseling kelompok di lingkungan sekolah, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan dan pengembangan program yang lebih efektif..

Abstract

This research concerns the analysis of group counseling (BK) at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi. The aim of the research is to conduct an analysis of group counseling guidance management at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi. The research method used was qualitative with research subjects being three guidance and counseling teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi. The research results show that group guidance and counseling services at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi are very necessary considering the absence of guidance and counseling hours in class and the large number of students. The group counseling program provides a significant positive impact, involving techniques such as problem solving and role playing. Even though there are supporting factors such as adequate facilities, experience of guidance counselors, and services via social media, there are still obstacles such as a lack of guidance counselor personnel, limited student openness, and problems with facilities and infrastructure. Evaluation of group guidance management is important, with the need for cooperation between guidance and counseling teachers, school personnel and the government. Supporting and inhibiting factors need to be managed holistically to ensure the effectiveness of the group guidance and counseling program at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi. Thus, this research is expected to provide comprehensive insight and strategic recommendations to improve the quality of Group Counseling Guidance services at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi.

Abstract

Conflict is an unavoidable phenomenon in every organization, including in higher education. Effective conflict management is key in realizing good governance in public services in higher education. This case study aims to analyze conflict management that is directly related to Good University Governance in STITNU Al-Farabi Pangandaran college. The research method is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through direct observation to the field and interviews with several participants. The results showed that policy conflicts in public services in higher education, namely STITNU Al-Farabi Pangandaran, can occur due to a lack of communication between the various parties involved, such as college managers, students and lecturers. In the context of handling policy conflicts, universities need to have a mechanism that can accommodate all parties involved to convey complaints and problems faced. To minimize or prevent conflicts from occurring, every college must apply the 5 principles of Good Governance; Transparency, Accountability, independence, responsibility and fairness.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the management of library facilities and infrastructure at MTs YPAK Cigugur.  Second, knowing about library management in improving the quality of learning at MTs YPAK Cigugur.  This research is qualitative research using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques.  Research location at MTs YPAK Cigugur.  The results of the research show that library management is not optimal in fostering the quality of learning and interest in reading of students at MTs YPAK Cigugur.  This is evidenced by the facilities and infrastructure which are still far from the ideal library concept and library standards, where the room for the library is not spacious enough and the facilities in the library are not complete, there is only 1 table and chair, 1 bookshelf, and 2 cupboards which only contain books.  - books that have been damaged, causing children to be less interested in coming to the library, which causes them to prefer reading in the classroom rather than in the library.  The benefit of this research is to help the YPAK Cigugur MTs school find the right solution to make the library a learning place for students so that students can understand the meaning of reading in the library room.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact in various ways, especially in the field of education, teaching and learning activities cannot be carried out directly, face to face between teachers and students. Online learning allows teaching materials to be delivered to students via the internet without having to meet in person. The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the effectiveness of using E-learning based learning media at MAN 1 Pangandaran. The subjects of this research are teachers who are responsible for managing E-learning at MAN 1 Pangandaran. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of this research show that learning using the e-learning system at MAN 1 Pangandaran was effective during the Covid-19 pandemic, but because the Covid-19 pandemic has improved, the e-learning system is only used for exams.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the management of educational personnel in quality assurance management through planning the needs of educational personnel at MtsN 1 Pangandaran. Educational personnel can be said to be one of the keys to the success or failure of providing education, so it is necessary to understand how to manage educational personnel and the aspects of managing educational personnel. Management can be defined as organizing or managing something so that the thing being managed can run smoothly in accordance with predetermined achievements, effectively and efficiently. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely presenting data described using words. The results of the research found that quality education staff in terms of how the teacher recruitment mechanism is carried out, carry out activities that can develop educators' performance abilities which are considered more effective because they increase the teaching staff's self-awareness regarding student discipline and build good relationships between students and teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the online admission system at MAS YPP Jamanis. Modern education today is increasingly adopting information technology, including in the process of admitting new students. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the extent to which the effectiveness of the online-based new student admission system at MAS YPP Jamanis.  This research method is a qualitative approach. The results found that the online-based new learner admission system is quite effective, but it still has shortcomings because there are still many people who do not know how to do online registration, as well as the promotion of online-based PPDB which is still less extensive. But further we also found that the community has been able to adjust to the new student registration system that is carried out online. Continuity of PPDB through the web.

Abstract

The background to this research begins with the many interpersonal conflicts that occur in the school environment and the role of guidance and counseling teachers in handling interpersonal conflicts. The results of the preliminary study at SMPN 1 PARIGI show that there are interpersonal conflicts and they are handled by guidance and counseling teachers. The purpose of this research is to find out how conflict management is carried out in group counseling for students at SMP Negeri 1 Parigi. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The subjects in this research were people who had direct contact with the implementation of guidance and counseling, namely school principals, guidance and counseling teachers, and homeroom teachers. After data analysis, the research results showed that the counseling services currently used by BK teachers at SMP Negeri 1 PARIGI in handling interpersonal disputes among students are information services, group guidance, data collection, calling parents, mediation and consultation services. service. The types of support services and activities used by guidance and counseling teachers are carried out in order to prevent and resolve interpersonal conflicts between students.
