Abstract

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a chronic disease that lasts a long time and requires long-term treatment, besides those physical conditions can also have an impact on a person's psychological condition, one of which is depression. However, it is possible that depression can also cause coronary heart disease in a person. Symptoms often overlap with cardiac symptoms, such as fatigue and insomnia (difficulty sleeping) which makes it difficult to diagnose depression in coronary heart disease patients. This study aims to determine the description of depression in coronary heart disease so that it can provide benefits in the form of knowledge about depression in coronary heart disease. The results of the data analyzed found the majority of respondents 93.3% had minimal or normal depression, 2.9% had mild depression, 1.9% had moderate depression and 1.9% had severe depression. The conclusion obtained from this study is that most of the respondents experienced minimal or normal depression, there was no difference between women and men, and there was no decrease in the quality of life of the respondents, such as feeling tired easily and having trouble sleeping.

Abstract

Glaucoma is the second leading cause of preventable blindness globally. Today, more than 60 million people worldwide have glaucoma, with nearly half of these people developing the disease without knowing it. In 2010, there were 60.5 million individuals suffering from glaucoma. In 2020 it is estimated that the incidence of glaucoma globally will reach 76 million and 111.8 million in 2040. This can be prevented by early detection, but can only be done through screening. Therefore, there is a need for public awareness and knowledge of glaucoma to encourage their behavior to seek health facilities for eye examinations. The research was carried out in all villages in Taman Sari District. The data was obtained using a questionnaire given to the respondents according to the inclusion criteria. Researchers get a sample of 105 people. The results showed that the level of public knowledge of glaucoma in Taman Sari District, West Jakarta was classified as good. However, people's attitudes and behavior towards glaucoma examinations are still low because of their mindset. The results of the study can be used as a reference to add other variables that may affect knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards glaucoma.

Abstract

Currently Low Back Pain (LBP) is a major global health problem with an annual prevalenceof 22% - 65%. Many things are the cause of LBP such as spinal deformities from birth, trauma, age, pregnancy and body mass index (BMI). Several previous research are stillcontroversial whether the relationship of body mass index with incidence of low back pain. The design of this study was cross sectional descriptive analytical with the aim to see therelationship between body mass index and the incidence of low back pain in medicalstudents. This research was carried out at Ukrida Medical Faculty with a sample of 216people with 64.4% respondents were female and men 35.6%, and respondent whoexperienced mild low back pain were 94.9%, moderate at 5.1%. Based on body mass index, the majority of respondents had a normal BMI of 55.6%, underweight of 6.9%, then overweight of 37.5% and those who experienced mild pain based on visual analogue scale of79.6%, no pain at 10.2%, moderate pain 8.8%, then controlled severe pain is 1.4%. Afterstatistical tests using Pearson Chi-Square obtained results there is a relationship betweenbody mass index and the incidence of low back pain with p = 0.043.

Abstract

Low back pain (NPB) is one of the most common disease complained by all people with a prevalenceof 12-35% in which 10% of them will develop into chronic results from back pain. One of the causesthat require follow-up is a herniated nucleus pulposus (HNP). HNP is the most common spinaldegeneration disease and causes 30% to 80% of NPB cases. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the best screening modality for assessing disc morphology and diagnosing HNP. This study aims to look for distribution incidence of herniatednucleus pulposus in RSPAD Gatot Soebroto in the January 2017-January 2018 period. This studyused a cross sectional research design with a total sampling technique, 73 samples were obtained.Analysis of the data used in this study is univariate analysis. The results of this study found that therewere 73 patients diagnosed HNP with MRI, more dominated by male patients as many as 39 patients(53.4%). The highest age experienced by HNP is age 61-70 years as many as 18 patients (24.7%). For the highest work of HNP are Military as many as 15 patients (20.5%). There was no history oftrauma that caused HNP in this study. Based on the degree of the HNP protrusion level of 37 patients(50.7%). The most HNP locations are in the lumbar area as much as 61 people (67.8%)
