Abstract

Stress can be experienced by anyone. The number of events is increasing every year. This is evidenced from the results of Basic Health Research in 2013 and 2018, namely an increase in the prevalence of mental emotional disorders in Indonesian population aged ≥ 15 years from 6 percent to 9.8 percent. Stress can have a negative impact on the human body both physically and psychologically. One of the effects of stress on the body is constipation. Unfortunately not much literature discusses stress and constipation in more detail. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between stress levels and constipation in the seventh semester students of the 2016 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at UKRIDA. This research uses analytic study method with cross-sectional approach. Sampling is done by consecutive sampling method. The study was conducted in December 2019 at the UKRIDA’s Medical Campus. 150 out of 206 students of 2016 from UKRIDA Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences who are in their seventh semester, are included in the inclusion criteria. The research material is primary data in the form of a Constipation Scoring System questionnaire and Perceived Stress Scale. The results showed a relationship between stress levels and constipation. This was obtained from the Chi Square test calculation which was calculated using the SPSS computer program, where the p value was 0.01 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Poor posture is the main cause of Musculoskeletal Disorders, MSDs in motorcyclists can affect daily activities, reduce work efficiency and productivity, increase the risk of work accidents and long-term illness. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between driving position and musculoskeletal disorders with the Rapid Entire Body Assessment hoping that the complaints can be minimized or prevented. Research data collection took place in December 2021. Research participants were online taxibike drivers in West Jakarta who were still actively working in 2021. Demographic data and riding position were obtained through the Nordic Body Map questionnaire and online questionnaire via Google Form. For the riding position, respondents were asked to ride the motorbike they used for work and were photographed by the researcher, and calculated using the REBA calculator software. The statistical test showed a value of P: 0.682 (p> 0.05) which indicated that there was no significant relationship between riding position and musculoskeletal complaints among online motorcycle drivers in West Jakarta in 2021. Even though there was no relationship between riding position and musculoskeletal complaints, to reduce the increased risk of MSDs, riders can make the best use of their rest time outside of work hours or before work by doing small sports or stretching to stretch tense muscles and reduce the accumulation of lactic acid.

The reachable population for this study were all type two diabetes mellitus patients at Koja Hospital who the researchers could meet when conducting the study in June 2023. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 40 patients. The research subjects were 40 people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The results showed that in terms of knowledge, 50% of sufferers had a high level of knowledge. However, negative behavior is more dominant with a percentage of 57.5%. Although the level of knowledge and type two diabetes mellitus patients about diabetic feet at Koja Hospital in June 2023 is still high, patient behavior is still low, so it is necessary to train and empower health service providers to deliver adequate health messages regarding the prevention of diabetic feet
