Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the development of Muhammadiyah's charitable business in the Krian area of ​​Sidoarjo. The focus of this research is (1) What is the history of the establishment of the Muhammadiyah branch in Krian sub-district (2) What is the role of the chairman of the Muhammadiyah branch in developing Muhammadiyah's charitable business in Krian sub-district (3) What is the history of the development of the Muhammadiyah branch's charitable business in Krian sub-district in 1990-2017 . In this study, the authors used historical research methods, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The approach and theoretical framework used to analyze it is from a social science approach to role theory. Role theory explains that the role refers more to function, adjustment and as a process. So, someone occupies a position in society and performs a role. The results of this study found that (1) Muhammadiyah had existed in Krian District since 1937, this happened with the arrival of Mr. Krian was inaugurated in 1966. (2) Within 27 years from 1990 to 2017, the leadership in the Muhammadiyah Branch, to be more precise, had 6 chairmen who served. (3) The development of the charity business of the Muhammadiyah Branch in Krian was fast, especially in the fields of religion, education and health. Keywords: Muhammadiyah, Krian. Business charity

Abstract

Abstract: This article examines Nashiruddin Qodir's role in the dynamics of Islamic education in Tuban, especially as the founder and caretaker of the Darut Tauhid Islamic boarding school. The problems discussed in this thesis are: (1) How is the biography of KH. Nashiruddin Qodir, (2) What is the history of the Darut Tauhid Al Hasaniyyah Islamic Boarding School in 1988-2017, (3) What is the role of KH. Nashiruddin in developing the Darut Tauhid Al Hasaniyyah Islamic boarding school. Writing this article using historical research methods which consist of several, namely: (1) Heuristics (2) Verification (3) Interpretation (4) Historiography. The approach used in this thesis is a historical descriptive approach. The theory used in this study is the theory of Continuity and Change by Jhon Obert Voll, role theory by Biddle and Thomas, and leadership theory by Max Weber. In this study it can be concluded that (1) KH. Nashiruddin Qodir was born in Tuban on July 1, 1949 to H. Abdul Qodir and Hj. Suwaedah. KH. Nasiruddin is married to Hj. Siti Khoiriyah and was blessed with seven children. KH. Nashiruddin once studied at the MIS Sarang Islamic boarding school. (2) The Darut Tauhid Al Hasaniyyah Islamic Boarding School was founded in 1988. The development of the Darut Tauhid Al Hasaniyyah Islamic Boarding School was very rapid starting from the facilities and infrastructure, educational institutions, and the number of students. (3) The role played by KH. Nashiruddin Qodir in developing the Darut Tauhid Al Hasaniyyah Islamic boarding school was as a fund collector, in the social and religious fields, as well as the initiator of the establishment of Ma'had Aly Al Hasaniyyah. Abstract

Abstract: The discussion in this article is about the role of an NU kiai in Lamongan. The focus of the discussion in this study is summarized in the formulation of the problem, namely; 1) What is the biography of K.H M. Mustaqim, 2) What was the condition of NU before 1992. 3) What was the important role of KH. M. Mustaqim in developing NU in Modo District. The research study was carried out using a diachronic historical approach assisted by theories from sociology. While the theory used is the Role Theory of Soerjono Soekanto. Based on historical knowledge, the authors use 4 methods, namely: heuristics, verification, interpretation, historiography. The conclusions from the research conducted are: (1) KH. M. Mustaqim was born in Modo, Lamongan on March 15, 1965. He is an active figure in Nahdlatul Ulama. He was the caretaker of the Bustanul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School, Chairman of the NU MWC Tanfidziyah 1992-2012, Deputy Chief of Lamongan PCNU. He has served in several organizations and other institutions. (2) MWC NU Modo was formed in 1951 and experienced ups and downs until 1992. During this period, MWC NU Modo underwent management changes 3 (three) times. (3) In the leadership of KH. M. Mustaqim succeeded in developing NU in the fields of: NU Modo MWC Building, NU al-Ikhsan Mosque, NU clinic, MI Ma'arif NU, MTs. Ma'arif NU, MTs. Asrorus Syifa', SMP NU, MA Ma'arif NU, MA Darul Ulum, SMA NU, SMK NU Mamba'ul Ulum, TPQ and Al-Ikhsan Islamic Boarding School. Keywords: kiai, NU, organization

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the history and development of the foundation and the Darussalam Islamic boarding school in Surabaya. This article limits the problem to three things, namely (1) the history of the establishment of the Darussalam Tambak Madu Simokerto Islamic Boarding School and Foundation, Surabaya (2) the development of the Tambak Madu Simokerto Islamic Boarding School and Foundation and Islamic Boarding School in 1981-2017 (3) supporting and inhibiting factors for the Foundation and Islamic Boarding School Simokerto Honey Pond. This study uses a historical approach with a diachronic perspective and a sociological approach. While the sociological approach is useful as a tool to support the social aspects of the events studied, which include developments, the influence of figures and the surrounding community. The theory used is the theory of Continuity and Change by John Obert Voll which aims to explain the various changes experienced by foundations on an ongoing basis. While the method uses the historical method through the steps of data collection, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. This article concludes that (1) Initially this foundation was in the form of a prayer room which was used for recitation activities by Kiai Noer Ahmad. This foundation was established in 1981, and following the establishment of Pondok Darussalam in 1983. (2) The development of the Darussalam Foundation and Islamic Boarding School was divided into three periods, and now has three formal and non-formal educational institutions. (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the development of foundations are quite religious. Keywords: history, development, foundation, pesantren

Abstract

Abstract: The article examines the history of the Suara Hati foundation from Sidoarjo. The problems examined in this thesis are: (1) What is the history of the founding of the Suara Hati Sidoarjo Foundation (2) How did the development of the Sidoarjo Suara Hati Foundation in 2010–2018 (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Sidoarjo Suara Hati Foundation. The author uses the historical method through heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiographical stages. In this study, the authors use a historical approach and a social approach. Meanwhile, the theory uses two theories, namely: First, the challenge and response by Arnold J. Toynbee. Second, the theory of continuity and change by John Obert Voll (From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that (1) the Suara Hati Sidoarjo Foundation was officially established on February 8, 2010. The Suara Hati Sidoarjo Foundation is a foundation engaged in three services the main social fields, namely social health, education, and social welfare (2) The Suara Hati Sidoarjo Foundation has experienced developments from various aspects since 2010-2018 which include the development of infrastructure, activities, and funding systems. The activities of the foundation have experienced developments in terms of entrepreneurship and religion The funding system relies on donors and businesses started by foundations (3) The supporting factors for the development of the Suara Hati Sidoarjo Foundation include the community, funding sources, human resources, publications and infrastructure, while the inhibiting factors are legality registration, the environment, combining idealism , financial resources in the early standing only the foundation, the lack of infrastructure and constraints on the recruitment of volunteers. Abstract

Abstract: Research on this article aims to determine private Islamic colleges in the northern region of Surabaya. Some limitations of research on this problem are: (1). What is the history of the establishment of STAI Ali Bin Abi Talib in Surabaya (2). How is the dynamics of its development in Surabaya in 2006-2016 (3). What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in its development. This article is written using historical research methods, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The approach used is a historical approach with a diachronic perspective (describing events that occurred in the past chronologically in the time dimension). While the theory used to analyze is the theory of sociology, namely John Obert Voll; Continuity and Change, (continuity and change) and Arnold J. Toynbee; Challenges and Responses (challenges and responses). From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that: (1) STAI Ali Bin Abi Talib was founded in 2007 AD in the Sidotopo Kidul 51 area of ​​Surabaya. -1996 M Al Irsyad organization, East Java. (2) STAI Ali Bin Abi Talib has experienced growth from the number of facilities and infrastructure in the first period of around 10 rooms to now reaching 18 rooms. The teachers of STAI Ali Bin Abi Talib experienced an increase in quality over time, namely 7 graduates of Postgraduate and Masters degrees. (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors for STAI Ali Bin Abi Talib are divided into two factors, namely internal factors and external factors.
