Abstract

Abstract: The research in this article aims to determine the political attitude of Muhammadiyah during the New Order era. The problems that will be discussed in this thesis include, (1) How did Muhammadiyah perform during the New Order era in the fields of politics, socio-economics, and education. (2) What are the political, religious and educational policies of the New Order government. (3) What is Muhammadiyah's political attitude towards the policies of the New Order government in 1968-1989. The research method used in this thesis is a historical research method consisting of heuristic, verification, interpretation and historiography stages. The approach used is a historical approach that aims to examine, reveal or explain events that occurred in the past. Meanwhile, the theoretical basis used in this study is the theory of political behavior as defined by Ramlan Surbakti. The results of this study indicate that: (1) New Order Muhammadiyah's progress in the political field: efforts to rehabilitate Masjumi, form Parmusi, and let go of practical politics. Socio-economic field: community empowerment and Indonesia's economic development. Education sector: Through the Muhammadiyah education sector, there is massive vertical social mobility. (2) The New Order government issued policies against Muslims, namely in the political field: prohibition of Masjumi rehabilitation, intervention in Parmusi's leadership, party fusion and the Organizational and Social Bill. (3) Muhammadiyah shows an allocative political attitude in the form of suggestions, opinions and considerations through lobbying, gatherings and official letters to the government that are able to influence the government's policies. Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the comparative views of two scholars from Gresik regarding the Wahhabi movement. The focus of the discussion is: 1) How is the biography and thoughts of KH. Muhammad Faqih in response to the Wahhabi movement 2) What is the biography and thoughts of KH. Ammar Faqih in response to the Wahhabi movement 3) What are the differences and similarities between KH. Muhammad Faqih and KH. Ammar Faqih in response to the Wahhabi movement. This article uses a historical approach and a sociology of knowledge approach. This study uses the theory of Symbolic Interactionism according to Herbert Blumer. The method used is the historical method: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, historiography. The results of this study indicate that: 1) KH. Muhammad Faqih (1857-1937 AD) was the fourth child of KH. Abdul Djabbar and Nyai Nursimah. KH's thoughts. Muhammad Faqih is very counter to the thoughts of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab 2). KH. Ammar Faqih (1902-1965 AD) was the fifth child of KH. Muhammad Faqih and Nyai Nur Khodijah. KH's thoughts. Ammar is very pro with the thoughts of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab 3) The difference between the two is that KH. Muhammad Faqih allows tawassul with people who have died but KH. Ammar Faqih prohibits tawassul with people who have died. KH. Muhammad Faqih also allowed reading the Prophet's blessings either aloud or quietly but KH. Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the history and development of Muhammadiyah in the village of Takerharjo Lamongan. The focus of the research discussed in this thesis are (1) What is the history of the founding of Muhammadiyah in the village of Takerharjo Solokuro Lamongan. (2) How was the development of Muhammadiyah in the village of Takerharjo Solokuro Lamongan in 1966-2017. (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the establishment and development of Muhammadiyah in the village of Takerharjo, Solokuro Lamongan. The method of writing history used by the author is to use several steps, namely the method of historical science by collecting archives related to the intended discussion, verification, interpretation and writing of history. The theory taken from this research is the modernization theory put forward by Max Weber. The results of this study conclude that (1) The history of the founding of Muhammadiyah in Takerharjo in 1966-2017 which was chaired by Mr. H.Syakur. Initially it was due to the condition of the people who still followed traditions that had no demands on Islamic teachings and a lack of understanding and experience of religion Islam in the practice of daily life. (2) The development of Muhammadiyah in Takerharjo experienced a lot of progress which was quite rapid in its early emergence and was quite good in terms of the members' charitable efforts and their religious activities from 1966-2017. (3). There were supporting and inhibiting factors at the time of the founding and development of Muhammadiyah in the village of Takerharjo Solokuro Lamongan in 1966-2017. Abstract

Abstract: This is an article that discusses the history of the amil, zakat, infaq and shodaqoh institutions owned by Muhammadiyah. Researchers provide limitations on three things, namely: (1). What is the history of the establishment of LAZISMU Surabaya City (2). What is the dynamics of LAZISMU's development from 2007-2019 (3). What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of LAZISMU. The writing of this article was compiled using historical research methods with four steps, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The approach used is a historical approach from a diachronic perspective (describing events that occurred in the past chronologically in the time dimension). While the theory used to analyze is the theory of sociology, namely John Obert Voll; Continuity and Change and Arnold J. Toynbee; Challenge and Response. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that: (1) LAZISMU Surabaya City was established in 2007 AD starting from the fields of waqf, zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) Muhammadiyah based on a meeting of members of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership Surabaya City at the Muhammadiyah Ngagel Branch Office, Surabaya. (2) LAZISMU has developed, both in terms of the number of donors, work programs and facilities and infrastructure. (3) LAZISMU's supporting factors are being sheltered by a large organization, having a clear legal entity, being trustworthy, accountable and transparent. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors for LAZISMU are the lack of human resources, the large number of competitors for zakat institutions in Surabaya who do not have their own offices. Abstract

Abstract: This study used a historical approach. According to Ibn Khaldun history in essence contains thoughts, research, and causes in detail about the realization of society and its foundations, as well as in-depth knowledge of the nature of various events. The establishment of the Assalafi Al-Fithrah Islamic boarding school and the Qadiriyah wa Naqshbandiyah sufi order which greatly influenced the community and as the formation of character figures during his life. The theory used is the theory of Louis Gosttschalk's influence and the cycle theory of Ibn Khaldun, as well as scrutinizing the influence of KH. Asrori Ishaqy in developing the sufi order (tarekat) and its up and downs in the development of leadership successionsThe study concluder that (1). KH. Asrori Ishaqy was born on August 17, 1950 in the Dar al-Ubudiyah Islamic boarding school Raudat al-Muta’allim Jati Purwo, Surabaya, which has been promoted to be the successor of the tarekat in Kedinding Lor. (2). The Qadiriyah Wa Naqshayahniyah tarekat is established by KH. Asrori Ishaqy in 1985 to Kedinding Lor. (3). The stratesy implemented by KH. Asrori Ishaqy in rutspreading the tarekat is lay inviting the “stranded” people of association of “orong-orong” to rhe Al-Khidmah. Keywords: Islamic Boarding School, tarekat

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the politics of Nahdlatul Wathan in Lombok which is led by Kiai Zainuddin. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with historical approaches, sociological approaches, and political approaches. The research method used is divided into four stages, namely heuristics, historical criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research data was obtained from the process of reviewing and analyzing data that can be trusted for authenticity in the form of written sources or the results of interviews that have been conducted. The analysis of the data obtained can be concluded that Tuan Guru Kiai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid is one of the sons of Tuan Guru Abdul Madjid in Lombok and the best student who graduated from Madrasah Ash-Shaulatiyah in Mecca. He became a community leader and a cleric who was able to purify Islamic teachings by establishing many madrassas for the people of Lombok. The participation of Tuan Guru Kiai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in the political arena is none other than to achieve the goals that must be achieved by the Nahdlatul Wathan organization, one of which is for the welfare of Muslims in Indonesia, especially on the island of Lombok. The role of Tuan Guru Kiai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in the political struggle is as a consolidator, educator, mobilizer, and political mediator for followers of Nahdlatul Wathan and people outside Nahdlatul Wathan.
