Abstract

PT XYZ Packaging Indonesia is a company that produces various types of packaging for the garment industry, such as labels, stickers, printed labels, and related accessories, with integrated services from concept to execution. This research analyzes design layout discrepancies in the proofreading process, including content shifts, color errors, text format, cutting lines, fonts, as well as barcode and style/PO mismatches, which impact increased rejections, potential customer complaints, and production losses. In the last three months, the company recorded an average proofreading defect of 15%, mainly due to content errors of 10%. Using the PDCA method, the research identified root causes such as the absence of visual inspection standards, inconsistent work instructions, high workload, and suboptimal digital proofing. Through PDCA, improvements were implemented including standard checklists, two-step verification, increased operator training, and integration of automatic preflight software which reduced proofreading errors to 0%. These results confirm that PDCA effectively improves design layout accuracy and reduces rejects, as well as highlighting the importance of prepress-based quality control in the label and packaging industry.

Abstract

This study examines the causes and impacts of polymer leakage in a 500-ton injection molding machine, which frequently occurs at the nozzle and sprue bushing junction. Leakage is caused by seal wear, excessive injection pressure, and nozzle misalignment, which enlarges microgaps. Measurements show that at a pressure of 150 MPa and a temperature of 250°C, the leakage rate reaches 20–100 ml/h. Through Autodesk Moldflow simulations, the nozzle-sprue transition area was identified as the point of maximum pressure (152 MPa) with the highest leakage potential, thereby extending conventional maintenance diagnostics through simulation-based identification of critical stress zones rather than relying solely on routine visual inspection. After optimizing the design and process parameters including reducing the injection pressure to 140 MPa, using heat-resistant Viton seals up to 250°C, and readjusting the nozzle position the leakage rate decreased by 70% (from 60 ml/h to 18 ml/h). The output of this study is a leak prevention model based on visual inspection, direct measurement, and numerical simulation, which distinguishes this work from standard industrial troubleshooting by integrating predictive simulation with quantitative cost-saving analysis, enabling an increase in production efficiency by ± 5 percent and operational cost savings of approximately US$1,800 per year per machine.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of work motivation on the performance of Generation Z employees at Cafe Quest Cikarang Billiard. The study population was all Gen Z employees at the cafe, with a sample size of 23 people. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using Google Form . Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 3 software . The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Generation Z employees. This finding emphasizes the importance of motivational strategies that are appropriate to the characteristics of the younger generation in improving performance in the entertainment service sector .

Abstract

This study analyzes lifting posture using Artificial Intelligence–based pose detection technology through the APECS: Body Posture Evaluation application as part of the Industry 5.0 framework, which emphasizes human-technology collaboration. A descriptive qualitative method was applied to five Respondents, each photographed once during the initial phase of lifting a load to assess body alignment and joint angles. Results show that four respondents demonstrated ergonomic posture, with an upright back position and proportional knee bending, while one respondents exhibited a non-ergonomic posture with a 37° spinal alignment angle that potentially increases musculoskeletal injury risk. APECS proved useful for providing rapid and objective visualization of posture quality, although it is limited to single-frame analysis and cannot capture dynamic movement changes which makes it most suitable for routine spot-check audits, pre-task coaching, and supporting decisions such as identifying high-risk individuals, prioritizing refresher training, and standardizing simple ergonomic checkpoints rather than diagnosing full movement patterns. Overall, AI-based pose detection shows potential as an effective tool for monitoring workplace posture and improving safety in alignment with ergonomic principles and Industry 5.0 developments by enabling quicker supervisory feedback loops and more consistent documentation of posture quality in regular safety programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of celebrity endorsement , online customer review and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying partially and simultaneously of marketplace users. The analysis method in this study uses primary data processed using SPSS, with the analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression, hypothesis test, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f test), coefficient of determination test (R2) . The data used in this study were obtained from questionnaires and valid data collected from 100 respondents. The sampling method in this study is non-probability sampling with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The population in this study was marketplace users. The results of this study indicate that celebrity endorsement variables have no effect on impulse buying among marketplace users, while online customer reviews and shopping lifestyle variables have a partial effect on impulse buying. Simultaneously, celebrity endorsement, online customer reviews, and shopping lifestyle variables influence impulse buying among marketplace users.
