Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries, which means that Indonesia has a lot of human resources. Humans have different personalities or individual characteristics. A normal personality can be described as flexible, while impaired ego function that causes rigidity is considered a sign of personality pathology. In this case, a person's personality varies depending on their habits and environment. According to the theory of Kernberg (1984), lower levels of organizational personality produce emotional instability. Where it can encourage the development of mal-adaptive behavior patterns. Objective: This study aims to identify the personality and differences in each individual that can improve their performance. The method in this study is systematic review. The search for English-language articles sourced from sciencedirect with publication years from 2020 to 2022 which were then reviewed according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on the results of the systematic review, individual personality cannot be equated with each person because each individual has different habits and environments and can affect employee performance. Low personality accompanied by rumination can exacerbate symptoms of depression. If individuals have high / positive personality traits, it has an important role in improving innovative behavior and performance.

Abstract

The experimental research method is an approach used to examine the effect of certain treatments on other variables under controlled conditions. In experiments, researchers manipulate a stimulus or treatment, then observe its impact on the variable under study. This research discusses experimental design and its purpose, including ANOVA and factorial experimental psychology research designs. Experimental design allows researchers to test hypotheses with well-defined steps before conducting experiments. There are several types of experimental designs, including pre-experimental, true experimental, factorial experimental, and quasi-experimental. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is a statistical method for comparing the means of several groups of data with respect to their variances. Factorial design involves the simultaneous manipulation of several factors to study the effect on the dependent variable. This study describes the characteristics, objectives, and types of factorial designs as well as their advantages and disadvantages. The experimental design and statistical analysis used help researchers understand and analyze data more comprehensively and objectively

Abstract

The experimental method is one of the main approaches in psychological research that allows for causal inference. In experiments, researchers examine human behavior from various aspects, such as cognitive, personality, and motivation. The validity of experimental research is a measure of the extent to which the research is precise and reliable in measuring what it is intended to measure. Validity is concerned with the correctness of the inference that results from the research. This article discusses validity in psychology experimental research, including the definition, function, and types of validity. Internal validity indicates the extent to which the cause-and-effect relationship observed in the experiment corresponds to the treatment given, while external validity evaluates the extent to which the results of the study can be generalized to a wider population. Factors such as sample peculiarities and test reactivity affect external validity. Understanding validity in experimental research is important to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the research results as well as their generalizability to different contexts and populations.

Abstract

This article discusses the important aspects highlighted including psychophysics, perception, attitudes, and the relationship between humans and the environment. Psychophysics emphasizes the importance of the relationship between physical stimulus and subjective response, with the growth of the nervous system, muscles, and changes in physical structure playing a role in psychophysical development. Perception is a key process in understanding the environment, which is influenced by theories such as classical conditioning, instrumental, and social learning. Attitudes, as evaluations of objects, are influenced by mental readiness, mental organization, behavioral direction, and behavioral drivers. Humans and their environment have an interdependent relationship, where human attitudes and behaviors can affect the quality of the environment and their own quality of life. Therefore, understanding the interaction between psychological and physical aspects is essential to understanding how humans respond to and interact with their environment.

Abstract

The development of technology, especially the internet, has both positive and negative impacts on society. One of the negative impacts is the phenomenon of cyberbullying, which has increased especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Cyberbullying, which often occurs on social media, can cause anxiety and decrease learning motivation in victims. The definition of cyberbullying is the act of humiliating, threatening or hurting someone online. Victims often feel anxiety due to the psychological pressure they experience. Anxiety is a feeling of fear of future events, and can affect a person's motivation to learn. Motivation to learn is influenced by the student's goals, abilities, conditions and environment. High anxiety is associated with low motivation to learn. Cognitive therapy is an effective approach to reduce the anxiety of bullying victims, focusing on controlling negative thoughts that arise as a result of bullying. Early treatment of bullying victims, including cognitive therapy, can help reduce anxiety levels and increase their motivation to learn.
