Abstract

A web-based inventory information system was designed and developed for CV. Okta, a packaging production company that experienced difficulties in managing its inventory due to inefficient and unstructured recording methods. Inventory data had been written on paper and later transferred to Excel, resulting in delays, input errors, and difficulty tracking stock levels. To solve these problems, the system was built using the prototype method, allowing users to provide feedback during each development stage. The system was developed with PHP and utilized Laragon as its database environment. The design included use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams. System testing was conducted using the Blackbox method and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to evaluate whether the system met user needs. The UAT results showed an average score of 82.73%, indicating the system worked effectively. This system improves the speed, accuracy, and accessibility of inventory management for administrators, warehouse operators, and company leaders at CV. Okta

Abstract

Phishing attacks remain one of the most prevalent information security threats in organizations due to their reliance on social engineering techniques that exploit human behavior rather than technical vulnerabilities. In the financial services sector, the increasing use of corporate email and digital applications further amplifies the potential impact of phishing incidents. This study evaluates the effectiveness of phishing simulation as an instrument to assess user behavior and information security awareness within an organizational environment. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach based on a controlled phishing drill simulation delivered via organizational email. Interaction data were collected from 17,062 successfully delivered simulation emails and analyzed using behavioral indicators, including open rate, click rate, data submission rate, and response time. The results show that while most users did not engage in risky actions, a small proportion proceeded to critical interaction stages, such as clicking malicious links and submitting credentials. Notably, interactions involving users with critical access accounts, although limited in number, represent a disproportionate risk due to their potential impact on organizational security. The analysis of response time indicates that a significant portion of clicks occurred shortly after email receipt, suggesting a tendency toward rapid decision-making without sufficient verification, particularly in messages emphasizing operational urgency. The findings highlight the importance of risk-based mitigation strategies and demonstrate that phishing simulations should be positioned not only as measurement tools but also as part of a continuous improvement cycle integrating targeted security awareness interventions, user segmentation, and scenario variation to strengthen organizational resilience against phishing threats.

Abstract

Student discipline management at MA Mansyaul Ulum is still carried out manually on paper, which has the potential to cause data loss, recording errors, and difficulties in searching for and recapitulating student violations. This condition makes it difficult for students, teachers, discipline officers, and the school to monitor student violations quickly and accurately. Therefore, an information system capable of managing student disciplinary data in an integrated and effective manner is needed. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Student Discipline Information System to facilitate the management, monitoring, and recapitulation of student violation data at MA Mansyaul Ulum. The system was developed using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method to ensure that the system meets user needs. The context of use was determined through interviews with the school. The application was built using the PHP programming language with MySQL as the database. The results of this system development show that the system is capable of displaying student violation and handling data and presenting reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. System testing using the Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methods obtained an average score of 96.47%, indicating that the system runs well and is accepted by users.

Abstract

Distributing academic service announcements and reminders is a crucial component in supporting the smooth running of academic activities at school. However, the process of delivering academic announcements at Kalipare Islamic Vocational School is still carried out conventionally and manually through notice boards, circulars, and WhatsApp groups. This method often causes various problems, such as late announcements, unread announcements, and the risk of students and parents or guardians not receiving announcements on time, especially when students are absent from school. This condition indicates the need for an information system capable of delivering announcements centrally, quickly, and consistently. This study aims to design and build a Web-Based Information System for Distributing Academic Service Announcements and Reminders with WhatsApp Notifications at Kalipare Islamic Vocational School. The development method used is User-Centered Design (UCD) by directly involving users in every stage of system development, from needs analysis to system evaluation. The developed system allows administrators and teachers to create and manage academic announcements and reminders through a web-based platform, which must then obtain approval or revision from the principal before being sent to students and parents or guardians via WhatsApp notifications. The system is also equipped with features for managing student data, department data, class data, message templates, and an announcement log as a history of announcement distribution. The system was tested using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method involving 20 respondents. The test results showed that all tested features were accepted by users using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method, thus the system has been assessed as meeting the research objectives and capable of improving the effectiveness and timeliness of the distribution of announcements and reminders for academic services.

Abstract

Stomach diseases are common digestive disorder among Indonesians and are often not treated properly due to increasingly modern lifestyles. According to the WHO, the prevalence of gastritis in Indonesia is 40.8%, while the prevalence of dyspepsia varies from 7% to 45%. The Malang City Statistics Agency and the Malang City Health Office have placed Malang City among the top 10 cities in 2023 for stomach disease cases, with a total of 4,218 cases of gastritis and 4,637 cases of dyspepsia. In the last three years, 40% of patients had stomach problems, 25% had diabetes, and 20% had heart disease. One of the challenges in treating patients with stomach disease is the treating patients with stomach diseases is the similarity of symptoms with other diseases such as appendicitis. In addition, limited access to health services and financial constraints in seeking treatment are the causes of delays in disease management. This study aims to develop an Early Detection System for Stomach Diseases Using Forward Chaining and Certainty Factor, which can assist in the initial diagnosis and early detection of stomach diseases for patients or the community. This system was developed using a waterfall approach model with PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. The results of this system are able to provide diagnoses for 10 types of stomach diseases with a percentage of certainty factor. The results of black box testing are in accordance with the system design and requirement analysis, and the results of user acceptance testing received score of 81.03%.

Abstract

Abstract. The digital transformation of health services in Indonesia is mandated by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022, which requires all health facilities to implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR). PKU Muhammadiyah Kertosono Clinic still relies on manual, paper-based records and Microsoft Excel, leading to data duplication, inefficiency, and limited access to patient medical histories. This study aims to design and develop a web-based EMR Information System using the Waterfall method. The system was developed with PHP, CodeIgniter 4 framework, and MySQL database, covering five Waterfall stages: requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Black Box Testing of 25 functional scenarios — including patient registration, queue management, SOAP-based medical record input, digital prescriptions, pharmacy management, automated medical letters, and reporting — yielded a 100% success rate. The resulting system centralizes patient data management, eliminates manual record-keeping risks, and supports PKU Muhammadiyah Kertosono Clinic in complying with applicable health regulations.
