Abstract

Coronavirus disease is a virus that causes respiratory system disorders. Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, 2022, the number of covid-19 exposures that have been confirmed positive is 6,512,913, recovered as 6,319,990 died 158,768. Progressive muscle relaxation focuses on muscle activity. The purpose of this exercise is to lower the tension. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of exercise on sleep quality and anxiety levels. This study is a quantitative research method, using purposive samples with a quasi-experimental study pretest-posttest one-group research design. This study sampled 24 students who declared confirmed Covid-19. The value of sleep quality is 2.17, with a standard deviation of 0.761. The results obtained a p-value of 0.000, then the p < α where H0 was rejected, significant influence on sleep quality before and after exercise. The value of the level of anxiety after exercise is 2.17, with a standard deviation of 0.381. The results p-value of 0.000, then the p < α where H0 was rejected, significantly influenced the level of student anxiety before and after exercise. The contribution of this research can be used for nursing information, especially for patients who are confirmed Covid-19.

Abstract

The most common complication in people with diabetes mellitus is diabetic foot problems. Efforts to prevent diabetic foot problems can be prevented with proper foot care. Checking the foot every day, whether there are wounds or bleeding, cleaning the foot every day, cutting nails, using comfortable shoes or slippers, and immediately contacting a doctor if the foot is injured. The purpose of this study identified the relationship between knowledge about diabetic foot care and the ability to care for the feet in people with diabetes mellitus. This study used a type of correlation research with a cross-sectional design. The subjects of this study were people with diabetes mellitus, who totaled 26 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires that are distributed to respondents. Univariate data analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate using chi-square. The result shows a relationship between knowledge about diabetic foot care and the ability to care for feet in people with diabetes mellitus. This research contributes to providing knowledge to people with diabetes mellitus. This knowledge contributes to motivating foot care activities to prevent diabetic foot injuries.

Abstract

Following the road map from the Social Security Agency for Health in the 2020-2025 period, a preventive approach is used for achieving universal health coverage. However, there are still disparities in the referral rate as an indicator of preventive efforts between cities and rural areas. The study aims to describe service referrals' achievements, the met capacity of human health resources, and the active participation of integrated health service posts for non-communicable diseases. The method used a quantitative approach. Research place in Cirebon City and Cirebon District, Indonesia. Referral rate data was collected in August-December 2019. The data on service capacities, health resources, and integrated health service participation was collected in August-December 2020. The result shows that the average referral rate in primary healthcare centers of Cirebon City was better than that of Cirebon District. The standard services in primary healthcare centers of Cirebon City were better than those in Cirebon District. The standard human resources in primary healthcare centers of Cirebon District were more qualified than those in Cirebon City. The active participation of integrated health service posts for non-communicable diseases in Cirebon City was better than in Cirebon District. The contribution of this article is to provide health care information about the evaluation of referral ratios in facing universal health coverage.

Abstract

Complications due to hypertension are dangerous. Therefore self-care management is needed. Freedom emotional technique (EFT) therapy is a non-pharmacological treatment that can help change blood pressure. During the Covid-19 pandemic, online EFT is the right solution. This study aims to determine the effect of online-based EFT on blood pressure during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses pre-experimental, namely one group pretest and posttest design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 50 respondents. The research location is Kalimeang village, Karangsembung Sub-district, Cirebon District, Indonesia. The research instruments used were observation sheets, sphygmomanometers, and stethoscopes. The data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicated that online-based EFT therapy affected the change in blood pressure among patients with hypertension during the covid-19 pandemic. This research contributes to the reference of nursing practice by applying EFT therapy to patients to change their blood pressure with online treatment.

Abstract

Smoking not only has an impact on yourself but also has an impact on the people around you. Cigarettes have always been a unique phenomenon worldwide. Stop smoking, but cigarette excise is one of the country's significant foreign exchange. The dangers of smoking can interfere with/inhibit the function of the brain, mouth, throat, lungs, stomach, bones, skin, and reproductive organs. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on adolescent smoking behavior by providing education through counseling to stop smoking. This study uses a survey methodology and quantitative literature studies. The research locations are in two junior high schools in Jakarta. The sample is 60, with details of each junior high school amounting to 30. The results show that the characteristics of adolescent smokers aged 12 to a maximum of 16 years, there are sources of exposure to smoking most commonly found in their family members. There was no effect found on the characteristics of young smokers on the status of the covid-19 pandemic for young smokers, including stop smoking information sources. This research contributes to providing information about activities of stopping smoking during the Covid-19 pandemic.
