Abstract

The lack of visual learning media causes students to have a shallow understanding of the pillars of faith material. This study aims to develop pop-up book-based learning media for Phase D students of grade IX. The study employed the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), utilizing data collection techniques that included interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The validation results showed a feasibility level of 75% (media), 95% (material), and 82.5% (language). The practicality of the media was assessed as high based on teacher responses (93.1%) and students (83.9%). The effectiveness of the media reached 87%. These findings indicate that pop-up book media can increase student involvement and understanding of the pillars of faith material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the formulation of curriculum objectives in the Cadets education program and the Undergraduate Police Inspector School (SIPSS) at the Police Academy. Using the qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation of curriculum documents and related materials. The results of the study indicate that the formulation of the cadet curriculum's objectives focuses on developing police officers with field leadership skills, strong character, and mastery of tactical and operational aspects. Meanwhile, the SIPSS curriculum focuses on strengthening professional competencies based on academic backgrounds to support the specific needs of the National Police organization. These differences reflect the National Police's differential strategy in preparing officers who are responsive to increasingly complex institutional and social challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of addiction to TikTok and online games on the understanding of Islamic Religious Education among 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sorong City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and guidance counselors, as well as classroom observations. The findings reveal that excessive use of TikTok and online games significantly reduces students’ concentration, time management skills, and ability to comprehend and internalize Islamic values. Students often show procrastination, decreased discipline, and lower motivation in learning PAI. These behaviors not only affect their academic performance but also their religious attitudes. The study suggests implementing digital literacy education, strict regulations on gadget usage, and active collaboration between schools and parents to minimize negative impacts while promoting responsible and balanced use of technology.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an E-Portable Book as a supporting medium for religious activities in the religious study group. Development is carried out using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, and pilgrims of the religious study group. Data is collected through validation sheets and practical questionnaires. The validation results showed an average score of 88.33% (Very Valid), while the practicality test obtained an average score of 86.67% (Very Practical). This media is considered easy to use, making it easier for pilgrims to access the material and increasing involvement in the study. The interpretation of the results shows that the E Portable Book is a feasible and effective alternative to community-based religious learning media. These findings are expected to encourage the use of digital technology in non-formal education, thereby expanding access to and improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying a contextual approach in increasing students' interest in learning Moral Beliefs at MI Batulotong. The background of this research is based on the low interest in learning of students, which affects learning outcomes. The study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and a pretest-posttest one-group model. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using t-tests to see differences in learning interests before and after treatment. The study's results show that applying a contextual approach significantly increases students' interest in learning. The increase is evident in the higher average score of learning interest after treatment, as indicated by a t-test significance value of < 0.05. These findings demonstrate that real-life context-based learning can effectively motivate learners, increase active engagement, and foster a more meaningful learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a hadith learning media in the form of sort cards about the nature of generosity and avoiding stinginess to facilitate memorisation of students at MTsN Kota Palopo. The research method employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilising a 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), along with descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The research subjects were 25 students of class VII A. The results of the study showed that the sort card media is suitable for use as a learning medium, with validation results from media experts (66% valid), material experts (97% very valid), and language experts (91% very valid). The level of effectiveness of student memorisation reached 89.2%, falling into the very effective category. Thus, the development of the sort card media is proven to increase the effectiveness of hadith memorisation of class VII students of MTsN Kota Palopo.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a game-based interactive digital module designed to enhance students’ interest in learning Al-Qur’an Hadith, specifically Surah At-Tin, for fourth-grade students at MI Al-Mu’minun, Wajo Regency. The research employed the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model with 18 students and one teacher as participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The validation results showed the module was feasible, with scores from media experts (75%), material experts (95%), and linguists (88.8%). Practicality tests indicated very positive outcomes, with teacher assessments reaching 96.15% and student responses 93%. Effectiveness testing revealed a significant improvement in learning outcomes, from 69% (adequate) before using the module to 98% (very effective) after its implementation. These findings demonstrate that the game-based interactive module is valid, practical, and highly effective for supporting Al-Qur’an Hadith learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of the School Environment on the morale of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Porehu, North Kolaka Regency. Employing a quantitative ex post facto design, the research involved a saturated sample of all 26 fifth-grade students. Data were gathered through expert-validated questionnaires and analysed using descriptive statistics, product-moment correlation, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicated that both the school environment (61.54%) and student moral character (65.38%) were categorised as good. The correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between the two variables (r = 0.649, p < 0.05). Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R² = 0.42) indicates that the school environment accounts for 42% of the variance in students' moral character, with the remaining 58% attributed to other factors. These results underscore the substantial role of the school environment in shaping student morality.

Abstract

This study applies a goal-free evaluation model to examine the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in addressing clean water scarcity through the use of NodeMCU ESP8266 and Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Conducted with vocational students at SMKN 1 Kasongan, the project involved designing a water quality monitoring system in response to local river pollution caused by illegal mining. Data were collected through observations, interviews, reflections, and product evaluations, and then analyzed thematically. The findings show that students developed technical skills in sensor integration, programming, and real-time data visualization, alongside non-technical skills such as collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Unexpected outcomes also emerged, including greater environmental awareness, community engagement, and intrinsic motivation to expand the project. This study highlights the value of PBL in vocational education, recommending its wider adoption to link technology with real-world issues, and contributes theoretically by demonstrating the effectiveness of goal-free evaluation in capturing emergent learning outcomes.
