Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam (ISSN 2088-9992; E-ISSN2549-8738) accredited Sinta 5 Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, is an academic journal that emphasizes on actual issues related to Islamic guidance and counseling. Journal of Counseling Religi Journal of Islamic Counseling Guidance is published twice a year (once every six months, issued in June and December) by the Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi Islam Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Ampel Surabaya is valid since the first Journal of Vol.1, No 1, June 2011. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the competence of teacher guidance and counseling in classical guidance services through a school-based lesson study (LSBS) in District Jatinangor Sumedang. The used approach is a quantitative study with single-subject design with a pattern AB. Research carried out by conducting a preliminary study, the measurement of the baseline condition three times, the provision of school-based interventions lesson study conducted four sessions once a week while the measurament intervention condition, and data analysis. The results of a preliminary study of 101 guidance and counseling teachers competence showed that 77 teachers were included in competent category, 24 teachers were incompetent teachers. Than it was measured by baseline, there 3 guidance and counseling teachers were incompetent. Empirical test results showed that school-based lesson study can improve the competence of guidance and counseling teachers in junior high school Jatinangor Sumedang District. The implementation of classical guidance services through school-based lesson study can improve the competence of the 3 guidance and counseling teachers in many aspects: 1) Mastering the theoretical framework and practical guidance and counseling, (2) Mastering the concepts and practice of assessment to understand the conditions, the needs and the problems of the counselee, (3) Designing the guidance and counseling program, (4) Assessing the process and results of operations guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Every child is born of God's will, by His permission, accompanied by the wishes and wishes of the parents. But in reality, the child is born with the following advantages and disadvantages, including children born with the condition of children in general or normal, but also there are born with abnormalities, physically and psychologically, which is then called the child with special needs. Children with special needs are students (under 18 years old) who have difficulty in following the learning process because of physical, emotional, mental, social, and or have special intelligence and talents. Special needs children need stress-free life, caring for friends and family, positive models, opportunities for success at school and other activities in the community. Therefore, for special needs children need the pattern of education and counseling Islamic inclusion, which has a broader range, so that counselors will conduct guidance and counseling covering the dimensions of (1) Educational Dimensions, (2) Developmental Dimensions, (3) Preventive Dimensions, (4) Ecological Dimensions, (5) Futuristic Dimensions. This is where the role of the counselor becomes so important in conducting the counseling and mentoring process for teachers, parents and children with special needs themselves, to assist in the implementation of the planned individual programs.

Abstract

This article approaches the concept memapakan behavior in dealing with student behavior insdisipliner the victims of divorce. Behavior itself is one wide approach in guidance and counseling to address maladaptife toward adaptive behavior. Behavior approach is the right approach to deal with students who are not disciplined in school. That the students be able to function well in school, without obstacles. Undisciplined behavior is influenced by one factor, namely the problems of internal students of SMP Diponegoro Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta, which tend to be on the student's background as a result of divorce. The research method using descriptive qualitative endekatan with emphasis on spaciousness directly involved. Furthermore, if the assessment has been carried out, the plan can be implemented into the counseling process. Starting contracts counseling, relaxation, modeling, reward and punisment until the follow-up phase. By this stage of the process of changing the flow behavior of students who are not disciplined attitude can be reduced. And students are able to be adaptive.

Abstract

Depression is a vulnerable psychological disorder among the elderly. Qualitative research with case study at Panti Tresna Werdha Hargo Dedali Surabaya explains the size of elderly depression, the dynamics before and after therapy, and the implications on some psychological aspects by using qur'ani healing therapy (healing therapy qur'an). This data collection involves three elderly people using observation, in-depth interviews, and Beck depression Inventory (BDI). The results of this study indicate the size of the elderly depression that is the subject of this study is moderate and mild. The way qur'ani therapy used in this case has implications for cognitive, affective, and motoric health of the elderly.

Abstract

This study aimed to establish the guidance with applied cinematherapy technique to increase achievement motivation at grade VIII. This research based on empirically study that more than 75% of students have low achievement motivation which has required guidance and counseling services to increase. This researchused quasiekperimental nonequivalen control group design. Study participantswere 35 students each in experimental and control group. Data was collected by instruments achievement motivationwith pair comparison and statistically processed through ANACOVA techniques. The results showed that guidance with applied cinematherapy technique used six films, namely Laskar Pelangi, Sang Pemimpi, Semesta Mendukung (Mestakung), Sang Pencerah, Negeri Lima Menara, dan Cahaya dari Timur (Beta Maluku) were effective increasing total score achievement motivation of the students. Specifically, there were four of ten aspects increase students achievement motivation, namely a negative reaction to failure, anxiety against the possibility of failure to achieve a goal, assistance or sympathetic to people who encourage and help direct individuals activities , and positive reaction to result achievement. Six aspects of the achievement motivation were not significantly affected by guidance with applied cinematherapy technique namely need to obtain the best results, anticipation of the goals to be achieved, efforts to result achievement, externalbarriers, internal barriers and the intensity of the desire to achieve best result.

Abstract

In this study the researcher uses the token economy technique in which this technique is an effort to provide assistance to clients, where targeted behaviors (disciplining prayer) are given reinforcement derived from the client extrinsic in the form of a token (Allah's lafadz sticker), and the token can be used by clients to be exchanged for various expected strengths in accordance with the initial contract that has been made with the counselor. In addition, counselors also provide positive confirmation that is to express words of praise to clients if they are able to carry out a contract of behavior well. In this study it was concluded that the previous client was not disciplined in performing prayers marked by the difficulty when ordered to pray, stalling for time, never praying together, rarely isha prayer and even prayer for no prayers. By using this token economy technique, the final result of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling process was declared to be quite successful with a 66.6% process in which the results can be seen from the changes in client attitudes or behavior that are not good starting to be better, namely the implementation and safeguarding client prayers is increasing after getting BKI with the token economy technique.
