Abstract

The existence of women over the time in transition or shift from traditional to modern. The role of the woman who used to be adopted only capable of working in the domestic realm, but this time she is able to develop itself in the public sphere. This raises the existence of variants of interest, between the domestic and the public sphere. This study used a qualitative research method with case study approach. The theory used in this research is by using the concept of rational choice of James Coleman. The purpose of this research is to describe the existence of a career woman in the family. These results indicate that the existence of career women in the public sphere in the family recognized for their collective agreement concluded between career women with families. Mainly deal agreed with her husband and children. But the deal does not diminish the responsibility of working women in the domestic sphere. Career woman in the village Balunijuk not neglect its role as a housewife and also as a career woman. Role between domestic and public balanced and collaborate.

Abstract

This article aims to mobilize and unite the steps of stakeholders to create prospective fishing vessels, especially maritime vocational cadets where the existence of SMKN 4 Pangkalpinang, SMKN2 Sungailiat, and SMKN1 Tukak Sadai under the auspices of the Provincial Bangka Belitung Islands Education Office and Maritime Affairs and Fishery. This research is a correlative descriptive study so that the data is analyzed to determine the relationship between Vocational High Schools maritime cadets and the Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands which is very closely related to the success of vocational education to produce potential fishing vessel officers. The instrument for data collection uses documentation, questionnaires, and direct observations which are then analyzed using simple linear correlation. The results obtained were government policies in providing overall support in developing Maritime Vocational High Schools in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province including laboratory facilities (SMKN 4 Pangkalpinang: 80%, SMKN2 Sungailiat : 45%, SMKN1 Tukak Sadai : 45%), Infrastructure practice tools (SMKN 4 Pangkalpinang: 75%, SMKN 2 Sungailiat: 50%, SMKN1 Tukak Sadai : 30%), Simulator (SMKN 4 Pangkalpinang: 50%, SMKN2 Sungailiat : 100%, SMKN1 Tukak Sadai : 0%) , Ships (SMK 4 Pangkalpinang: 100%, SMKN2 Sungailiat : 100%, SMKN1 Tukak Sadai : 50%).

Abstract

The general objective of the study is to identify the understanding and participation of teacher in academic writing.The specific objectives of the study are to (i) identify the understanding of elementary school teacher in academic writing in Rangkui District; (ii) to identify the participation of elementary school teacher in academic writing in Rangkui District; and (iii) to examine factors that affect the elementary school teacher in academic writing in Rangkui District. The study employed the qualitative approach with source of data as follows: (i) 50 elementary school teachers as the primary data; and (ii) documentation derived from some literatures and other reading sources as the secondary data. The data was gained by using the interview and documentation. Furthermore, it was analyzed by using data analysis technique i.e. data reduction, data presentation, decision making. The results showed: (i) 28 % of respondents considered as having understanding, 35 % of them considered as lack of understanding, and 37 % considered as not having understanding at all in academic writing. (ii) in terms of the participation level of elementary school teacher, 20 % of respondents stated often, 35 % of them stated rarely, and 45 % of them stated not having the academic writing. (iii) Factors that affect teacher in participating on having the academic writing were lack of time, motivation, knowledge and idea.

Abstract

School culture is the most important factor in shaping students to be optimistic, brave, appearing, cooperative behavior, and personal and academic skills. To optimize the potential of students into an achievement, the right problem solving strategy was chosen, namely through the movement of literacy development to achieve Achievement. The main focus is to empower all school stakeholders in their daily activities by allocating existing educational resources to achieve the achievements and potential of students and realize the vision, mission and goals of the school. Optimizing the potential and achievements of students through the literacy movement can be done with three main principles, namely: (1) The development and strengthening of literacy becomes a movement and real action; (3) Establish communication and synergy with various parties; and (3) Building a shared commitment to optimize the potential and achievements of both academic and non-academic. Seriousness and strong will to make the development and strengthening of literacy as a "joint effort" by building a culture of literacy to prepare information literacy generation, literacy literacy generation, which will be an important component for optimizing the potential and achievement of students as large as must be based on noble goals in developing students' character through acculturing the school literacy ecosystem embodied in the School Literacy Movement (GLS).

Abstract

In industry 4.0, the education has been developing significantly. The current developing and mainstream education uses a standard-based national curriculum framework. However, nowadays it has established the new style of education as an alternative education in maintaining the balance with the existed mainstream education. Bangka Belitung Nature School is one of them which is located in Pangkalpinang City. The study aims to identify the educational learning systems in Bangka Belitung Nature School.Qualitative descriptive method was employed by analyzing the critical educational theory of Paulo Freire. The study found that the educational learning systems of Bangka Belitung Nature School were one of the alternative education which was different with the mainstream one. The educational patterns of Bangka Belitung Nature School applied the posed-problem method whereby it used the student-centered learning. Thus, the pupils in the Bangka Belitung Nature School were expected to be creative, innovative and critical in facing the social phenomena.

Abstract
