Abstract

Career platforms like Klob are among the modern recruitment methods. In the Klob career platform context, users face challenges when filling out their profile data. The main challenge is manual filling, which slows the registration and job application process. The problem required development to integrate information extraction from user resumes as an efficient solution. The Java Spring Boot programming language built a resume information extraction backend development system. This integration also utilized Natural Language Processing (NLP) recognition algorithms using OpenNLP to improve understanding of the context of sentences on resumes. One of the OpenNLP methods used was Named Entity Recognition (NER) to identify and extract named entities. The Rule-Based Extraction approach was also specified to extract information from text based on rules. This research was based on the results of testing conducted through the User Acceptance Test (UAT), and it was found that the percentage score given had an excellent interpretation level of 91.1%. This research provides a comprehensive overview of the effectiveness of the proposed solution in overcoming manual filling obstacles, improving user experience, and speeding up registration.

Abstract

This research focuses on creating a user-friendly Javanese language learning website using the Design Thinking approach. The goal is to cater to the needs and preferences of young people comfortable with digital technology. The research follows a five-step process: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. During the empathize phase, questionnaires were used to understand the learning needs of potential users. The define phase identified critical challenges faced by learners. In the ideate phase, brainstorming sessions generated various possible solutions. A website prototype was then designed using Figma and tested with users in the test phase. The System Usability Scale (SUS) was used to evaluate the prototype, and it received an average score of 83, which is considered excellent. This suggests that the designed website prototype effectively addresses user needs and preferences and has the potential to significantly boost motivation for learning the Javanese language.

Abstract

The transportation process for automotive components at PT XYZ is still carried out manually, involving human labor, which has led PT XYZ to consider using Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of transportation processes. Although the implementation of AGV technology at PT XYZ can provide benefits in terms of increased efficiency and productivity, there are limitations in the AGV system. The route change process must be done manually by reprogramming each AGV one by one, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and increases the risk of errors and inconsistencies. This study aims to address these limitations by designing and developing a REST API to support the functionality of the AGV route management system. The method used is black box testing to evaluate the system's functionality without examining the internal code structure. The test results show that the system successfully meets user needs with a success rate of 100% from 101 test scenarios. The developed REST API can integrate AGV route data and publish and update routes through an MQTT broker. This research is expected to provide an appropriate solution to help PT XYZ realize its full potential in utilizing AGV technology.

Abstract

This study is intended to solve the problem of parents of prospective students who need more information about PPDB and the occurrence of repetition in the data collection of prospective students who have registered by the committee due to duplicate data. This study is included in the Research and Development research type, which aims to develop a web-based PPDB information system (Khazaregsys) at SDIT Kharisma Az-Zahra, which helps increase the efficiency and transparency of the PPDB process. In its development, the method used is Extreme Programming, which uses the Laravel framework and MySQL as a database server. This study's data was obtained using various methods, such as literature studies, observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The data will be analyzed using the mixed method with the majority of qualitative analysis, namely from the interviews, observations, and literature studies, as well as quantitative analysis of the questionnaire results. Testing of the system that has been developed will involve black box testing to test all features in the system with a particular focus on the prospective student registration system and usability testing through user acceptance testing (UAT) to measure the system's effectiveness from the user's perspective. Khazaregsys has been proven to have a good level of effectiveness, which is supported by the test results, which obtained a score of 62%, meaning "Agree" from the parent's point of view, and 64.5%, meaning "Agree" from the school teacher's point of view.

Abstract

Students at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Terpadu Nurul Fikri (STT-NF) encounter challenges in accessing affordable and reliable transportation to and from campus, which complicates their search for convenient and cost-effective transport options. This study aims to develop a mobile application with an intuitive and user-friendly interface to enhance the overall transportation experience for students. Employing the Design Sprint methodology, the research follows a structured process involving understanding, diverging, deciding, prototyping, and validating phases. User requirements were gathered through surveys and interviews, and the prototype was created and tested using Figma. Usability testing utilized the System Usability Scale (SUS). The outcome of this study is RideSolve, a mobile app prototype featuring functionalities such as ride booking, driver selection, and ride history viewing. Usability testing revealed a high SUS score of 82, indicating positive user reception and effective fulfillment of their needs. Ultimately, the RideSolve prototype is anticipated to notably enhance transportation convenience for STT-NF students by offering a dependable and user-friendly solution.
